Little Thanh Da Brooklyn Reviews
this is literally the best banh mi spot in sunset. don’t listen to any of the bad reviews. the house special banh mi is so good, not the biggest but size don’t matter.
Delicious Banh mi. I had the #1 and #6, with no spicy. Very tasty. Chicken was a little bit less tasty because it did not have the sauce, but still really good. Very small place, no seating at all, just take out. Bread was warm and crispy... Very good.
They take cash only and there’s no dine in. I usually get the #1 (Bánh Mì). You have the option of whether you want to get spicy or not. These sandwiches taste soooo good!! After you order, you wait outside till it’s ready. Overall, no complaints and tasty food.
This is my go to place for viet sandwiches. 👍 I usually get their number 1 sandwich which has the pork and the hams in it with spicy. Their sandwiches include the meats, parsley, pickled carots/turnips, and cucumber in a crispy baguette. They raised the price within the past year (I believe...) so now their regular sandwiches are $6 and then their number 3 sandwich (with full pork) is $7. The shop inside isnt very big so usually people order stuff the sandwiches to go... they also have a number of snacks and products to buy inside too. U can also get coffees and other drinks here too.
My fav place for their bbq pork banh mi. Priced at $9(now, use to be $8). Very delicious. Service is bad but dont argue w mans he’ll get you right, most of the time(except he’ll sometimes forget you ordered jalapeños in your sandwich, or that your order is ready lol)
Being Vietnamese, I grew up eating banh mi my whole life. So far, I've had them in multiple spots in Vietnam, New York, California, and Florida. This is my favorite spot. I've gotten tired after a few visits at other places, but I used to order from here once a week, now once every few months, and I still love it. I hope they stick around for a long time.
Amazing Vietnamese sandwiches and customer service. You can't beat the price for how great these sandwiches taste. They also carry many Vietnamese foods, snacks and drinks.

People whining about the sandwich being $8 now need a reality check. Inflation went up. Sorry, folks. Those $4 sandwiches are not coming back. Besides, where else can you find an $8 Banh Mi?
Delicious sandwiches, crunchy and tasty, good for a fulfilling meal. Fast cook. I think was around a 6 min wait. About the other people’s reviews… Inflation is causing a lot of fav food stops to decrease in quality…
the Banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) is very good and their other things are also pretty good, I heard, but it is a long wait, usually about 10 minutes if not busy and 20 minutes when there is a few people there. Also there is no dine in since the place in extremely small. So you order, wait outside, get your food, and leave. but definitely worth the wait if you have the time

4.2/5 BBQ Banh Mi ($10)-- generously filled with the house BBQ pork, loved the sweet and sour bite from the pickled daikon and carrots with the brightness of the cilantro! Highly recommend getting your bun extra toasted !
I came here to try out their Banh Mi sandwiches and have to say it is pretty decent. I just wish these sandwiches had more stuffing, vegetables and meat for the price; $8 vs $7 in other stores.
Great place for Banh Mi and Coffee! I would make the trek to visit again from Manhattan. Cash only and very nice service! It's better to take out with the limited seating they have. Pretty fast service after placing your order.

It is a to go spot definitely, not as good as it use to be but gets the job done. Size and meat portion definitely decrease but overall, still pretty good. Update April/10 Banh mi is 9 bucks now, bbq pork is $10 This shrunk and is so much more expensive then before but still very good quality and taste amazing.

I have been order this place for so many year now, but somehow today order kinda shrink, so less meat and veggies asked for spicy, but nothing ,very disappointed

Good sandwich 8$ little bit over price , customers service it’s really bad, by far 3 star it’s ok , u should try these sandwiches.
Been occasionally eating from here for years. Price keeps going up with inflation but the amount of meat and vegetables have also been going down to the point it’s noticeable it’s the first thing you notice. Even the cucumber slices are 40% shorter.

Use to be good but this will be my last time. The sandwich had no meat. 1 slice and some sauce and veggies. Very sad sandwich for $9.
I grew up around 8 ave and used to love this place. But now I can say I am really disappointed at this store. The sandwich price went up to 8 dollars which I will be fine with if the quality stays the same. However, the filling has become 1/4 of what it uses to be. That bread to filling ratio is just pathetic. I went back multiple times thinking maybe they just messed up once. But every time I end up with such a sad sandwich. You should not be raising price and decreasing in the quality on your food. I will never come back to this place again, and people should really avoid this place and actually support small business that cares for customer and what they serve. I would give this place a negative score if possible. Update: walked by on 4/15/2024 and out of curiosity went in to see if maybe they change for the better. Lol nope. Price went up again and just when i thought the filling cannot get smaller, they did. Wow. At this rate, maybe in a couple year I can get a piece of just the bread for like 15 bucks. If people actually crave bahmi, I would suggest walking down to 42nd st 8 ave and get bahmi at Ba Xuyên.

This place used to be the go to Banh Mi shop for me. Even with the increase in price with less filling compared to before, I would still go back due to the convenience and good flavors. But the thing that got me recently is the horrible customer service they gave. A simple phone call to confirm whether the order was payed or not had the server saying stuff in front of my face. Like really? A call to just ask .
The owner has a nasty attitude. I told him I wanted 2 hot milk teas but he gave me cold so when i told him told him that he refuses and tried to gaslight me into saying i asked for cold even though I CLEARLY told him i wanted hot. He said he can give me one hot and one cold and i was like ok, then give me back the money for the hot one because the cold one costs more than the hot but he just refuses!!! What the hell???!! I'm never coming back
