Jooy Tea Shoppe Brooklyn Reviews
I had such a great experience at Jooy Tea! The drinks were fresh, tasty, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the amazing service from Iris. She was super friendly, patient, and went above and beyond to help me choose the perfect drink. You can tell she genuinely cares about making customers happy. I left with not just a delicious tea, but also a big smile. Highly recommend stopping by and if you can, have Iris help you out!
Their menu is so (food/snacks) extensive, and seems to have a lot of cool drinks. Peach, white peach, lychee, and other cool fruits. I got rose jasmine milk tea with White pearl topping. 10/10. Hint of rose scent in a perfect jasmine milk tea. Lychee long island w peach tea jelly: Wow, so cool to try jelly that’s peach flavored. 10/10 Bright inside, and seems to have snacks like popcorn chicken, sausages, fishballs, etc
Their teas are super refreshing, and they have a lot of unique flavors. I definitely recommend the lychee dragon fruit and coco melon, try the pomegranate burst if you like sour drinks. I walked in early Saturday afternoon, and my 3 drinks were made very quickly. Aesthetic of the place is very cute too, they have an aisle of succulents and their seats are tree stumps.
Got the matcha crave my sis recommended! Enjoyed it ! Service was quick not much people since it was a rainy day !
Nice shop in here. I got the creme brulee milk tea yummy yummy. This place does get busy so if your looking for a seat good luck. I suggest you get here early if you want to sit. Otherwise it's pretty busy but the line moves fast. To s of good cold and hot drinks. A bit pricey but isn't everything expensive nowadays.
Order drinks and food today Usually don’t write a review Receive a drink w no lychee jelly Got charge $1 for it with no lychee jelly
Overworked and understaffed workers. Popular spot but takes forever to get your order. I suggest you place your order online and pick it up an hour later.
I'm so annoyed that the employees in this store cannot follow simple directions. Twice I made combo orders stating NO SAUCE on the burgers and yet not only was there sauce but there was so much sauce that the buns were so soggy and super messy. The first time I could forgive them but the second time I repeated NO SAUCE several times and the girl even said to me, yes ... no sauce. Also, when you tip them, a simple thank you would be nice. The drinks are yummy and the food is not bad but I'm not too sure about going back right now!
I went to the store last night at 10:00 and was informed by the staff that coffee was sold out. My colleagues were then able to order it on the app when I informed them. I guess they don’t want in person service at this place. Update: I took the time to write a review because I come by pretty often and want the business to succeed. But it is obvious that management don’t care enough to train their staff properly and instead write a respond that my colleague place the order before 10:00pm. Just keep in mind that this place is not meant for walk ins. Don’t even want to waste my time arguing.
This has nothing to do with the tea. If the drink had sweetness to begin with, adding honey wouldn’t have transformed the flavor. The fact that it did is the clearest evidence of what was missing no matter what the footage shows.
Had a cup of grapefruit tea with grass-jelly towards the end of their business time. Had a sip of it and oh my god, whatever artificial concentrate they used, was waaaaayy many pumps, the oil or whatever left a super bad taste stuck on the top of the tongue, it was so nasty and inedible. I tossed it. $7/cup for concentrate, terrible decision.
I am a long-term customer at Jooy, and I really like the drinks here, especially the Persimmon Tornado. However, I am very disappointed because today I found a foreign object in my Persimmon Tornado. I'm not sure what it was, but it was hard, similar to a crystal-like substance. Fortunately, I noticed it in time. Otherwise, it could have caused damage to my throat.
Ordered oolong milk tea with boba for pick up. I took a sip of my drink, I went right back to the counter where I encountered Stephanie. I explained to her my drink tasted like just like milk, lacking tea flavor, and asked if they could perhaps add more tea? Stephanie laughed while telling her coworkers what my complaint was. Tony probably the person who made my drink, refused to fix it stating that’s the way the drink is and also stated he will not go out his way to fix it. I asked if I can please exchange for a different drink then. He told Stephanie if I want another drink I will have to pay for it in, all in mandarin. While I don’t speak it, I understand it. And how convenient when I asked to speak with the manger the person is not there. It is not okay to be charged nearly $8 for a water down drink with some bobas in it. Not my first boba drink from here so I know how it should tasted. Shame on them for such bad customer service!
