We went there to give them a try. Honestly, our group is not a huge fan of Russian restaurants because of a loud music and same food. This one is a bit different. We stayed late and no one forced us out. Music was good, food was very good, service excellent. Will suggest to others.

Loved this place. Food was incredible, musicians out of this world, very decent size dance floor, which is rare in Brooklyn in any Russian restaurant, and service deserves another mention in itself. We got table right by the stage, attention paid to us by our server was absolutely non stop, from pouring vodka to replacing dishes at very proper rate, only after we were done with it, unlike in other places where you never even get to taste some of the dishes served. Very happy and will definitely go back again soon.

We had gathering there to celebrate birthday. Overall everything was great, i`ve asked few people on the event and could only say good things about the food quality. Service was good, we were the only one group at that night and all attention was on us. As far as catering prices goes, we did visit other places all over the Brooklyn to estimate overall pricing range for our venue and Encore offered best, food/atmosphere/music band, price value.

Celebrated my daughter's sweet 16 in Encore last Sunday. I wish I could give more stars. Food was delicious, and plentiful, and service was great. Can't say enough good things about entertainment - their band is amazing! Good music variety - my older relatives enjoyed classics, my younger relatives (including myself) - contemporary music, and my daughter and her friends danced the night away to dj sets (apparently, one of the singers is also a dj). All in all, 5 out of 5.

This restaurant is two for one because not only it has amazing food but entertainment is like no other. I give both a 5+. Absolutely love this place!! I’ve been multiple times, with family and then with friends, and it’s also amazing. Food is fantastic, entertainment is definitely something you can’t get anywhere else. Our experience at Encore for dinner was amazing. They accommodated our party of 7. The food was outstanding. The service was wonderful. Our server, Issa, did an excellent job. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious. We definitely will be back.

Was very happy with the food here. The pasta was excellent. The anti pasta was delicious. Had the tomahawk steak which was a little over cooked but it was still very good. The mashed potatoes were terrible but the potatoes with garlic and mushrooms were very good. Overall, I’d be happy to come back again.

Food was amazing! You have to try the French toast croissant with banana ls and nuttella for brunch. The only thing missing from it was Maybe fresh strawberries which I'll add next time. The service was great too. It was hot out so they moved our table to shade and gave us a fan. A little pricey but you get what you pay for and in this case it was worth it.

Took my american colleague to introduce her to my Russian friends and choose Encore - was very happy with my choice. We had a party of 9 people different ages. Service was amazing! We had a guy being around our table and making sure we have fresh plates and full glasses for the whole night. Management recalled me from the last time and were very hospitable and friendly. Food and music were great as well. The most we liked were short ribs and foie gras. Will definitely be back with more friends! Thanks!!

Nice bar we just found in Bay Ridge. Just passing by we saw this place Encore on 4th ave in Bay Ridge. Excellent selection of beers and drinks. I should say the place looks upscale with live music. Very friendly and not too expensive. We didn't eat but we definitely will try next time.

We had an affair held in the corporate party venue of this place. My favorite place was the jazz music bar. It was a nice getaway. The food served at the banquet was also above the usual banquet restaurant fair. We will be back next year to Encore in Bay Ridge.

Encore in Bay Ridge is the best wedding venue restaurant I have been to in quite a while. Mush more than you typical catering restaurant. You can tell they try hard to be a cut above every other venue in the area. I would gladly have an affair held at Encore and would recommend the place.

Excellent music, excellent food and great entertainment. Management is very professional. Music is very upbeat and entertaining. Food is delicous and great portions. Would recommend anyone to go there for a huge party or just a sit down dinner. They have free vallet parking.

Brunch is our favorite meal and we have been to brunch restaurants all over the New York area. The private brunch we had at Encore Restaurant, in Bay Ridge Brooklyn last Sunday was as good as any we have had anywhere. The choices were varied and prepared well and everything was served at the right temperature. No cold eggs Benedict or warm fruit salad. We really enjoyed it and hope to be back.

We enjoyed the food here very much. It was much different than what you expect at a banquet restaurant. I especially liked the short rib and fois gras ravioli and my husband raved about the lamb loin on the bone. Also notable was an appetizer of porcini dusted seared scallops and prawns over corn pulp. When we need corporate party space rental for our next dinner we will definitely have it hosted by Encore Restaurant.

I recently attended a 50th birthday event at “Encore.” The dining and show experience was great! The restaurant is beautiful, and the venue contains everything you need for a perfect night out: The food was delicious, the live show was fantastic, the servers were friendly and attentive. I rarely write reviews, but I am just overwhelmed and must share my experience with Encore Restaurant. I celebrated my daughters first Birthday on Sunday and have to say that everything was way beyond my biggest expectations! The staff, food, decorations and especially the music was all top of the line! We had 100 people and all agree that the party was just awesome! We celebrated our son’s 1st birthday here on Saturday and it was perfect. The venue is gorgeous and decorated now in a magical fall theme. The food was top notch. And the entertainment was incredible with their modern singing and awesome shows. We added special touches like a jazz cocktail hour which was awesome too. Petya and Max were great to work with - accommodating, responsive and followed through with everything! The whole wait staff was also patient and kind. Great experience overall - thank you so much!!

Yesterday we were at birthday celebration in that restaurant. Absolutely amazing experience in regards to food, service and entertainment!!! We were 20 people and almost all of them, that day and the next one were stating, how they enjoyed staying in Encore! Not a single con!!! Unbelievable but there were only pros! The owner of the place, Nisson has contributed to overall satisfaction with his nice personality and specific sense of humor!!! Recommend without any hesitation!!!

We are going out every Saturday for almost 25 years thus can distinguish a good place - Encore is one of those. I had a private event at this restaurant. The space, food, music and service was exceptional! They went beyond my expectations and have been accessible and receptive to any wish I had. I also felt that the price for what they offered, was incredibly fair. I did a lot of shopping around before deciding to close out this space for this event. The cocktail hour with such diverse & delicious hors d'oeuvres was fantastic! The food served during dinner was fresh and abundant. We sat down with the chef prior to this event, and creatively came out with the menu. He's very knowledgeable and clearly loves what he does. Also, because it was a private event, I had a say of what type of music we wanted. The musicians and singers are quite talented & know how to make the party fun. In terms of service and communication, we primarily dealt with the owner and also his manager, who was very helpful and did whatever they could to make sure we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place for either private event or dinner celebration with family and/or close friends, or just a romantic night out with your loved one.

Recently attended a party here. it was amazing. Presentation of food was incredible. Appetizers were plenty and they're were so many options to choose from. There was always food around. They were handing out food till about 11:30pm to our tables. Was very impressed and never hungry there! They also provided their own entertainment, which was amazing. it was for all to enjoy , but very appreciated of those with eastern european descent or Russian speakers. Playing and singing music that were absolute hits and popular , with real instrument players and dancers ! this was an amazing experience.

We hosted my sister’s Sweet 16 at Encore Restaurant last week and it couldn’t have gone any smoother thanks to the people at Encore. They delivered everything exactly as it was promised to us. The food was absolutely delicious! The food at cocktail hour was yummy and plentiful with many different hors d’oeuveres being passed around in addition to the food standing on the bar. Max, the restaurant’s band leader, even came out during the cocktail hour and played the saxophone for the guests. It was the perfect touch to an already spectacular event. The waiters and waitresses during the reception were perfectly on point, delivering a ton of amazing food to the tables without disturbing any of the partying! Even though we hired a DJ for part of the night to entertain the teens, the restaurant’s own live band come on later in the evening and they were phenomenal!! Not only did they put on a very entertaining show, the singers were incredible and delivered all of the songs beautifully. They were fun, exciting, and really kept the partying going for adults and kids alike! Highly recommend this place!!

We were delighted! this is the best place for weddings, anniversaries and other holidays. service is simply amazing, the cuisine is excellent, and the show is amazing! Our friend hosted a BD celebration in there, we were quite impressed with the place. Beautiful decorations, nice ambience, decent food, great polite and helpful service. The best part was the show they run. Obviously, not a Broadway level, but still far exceeded what you would normally expect in a restaurant. That all turned the celebration into a memorable event. They provide plenty of time, too - open till 2:00 am.

This place was amazing last night. Had my wedding in this restaurant. The food was delicious. The owner was always present and when I dropped off the alcohol, the owner was in the kitchen marinating food the day before lol respect to that. The service was warm and polite, each table had their own waiter. We had live music that the restaurant provided with a show that was awesome! Absolutely amazing. The music/dancing was great. Some of the songs were in Russian. I don’t speak the language but you don’t need to understand the words because the beat was good. They were good dancing music. My girlfriends and I had so much fun. I can’t wait to go back.

It’s a nice place, I managed to come in on a night, when they had some big parties, so the bar was also open. They have entertainment and a nice decor. I believe it’s better if you call in advance to check and make sure they can accommodate you, as it’s normally reserved for big events.

The place is gorgeous inside; the ceiling and walls are covered in beautiful cherry blossoms. The entertainment is 10/10 in terms of Russian restaurant vibes, enjoyable for everyone. Entertainment starts with a cabaret show and then turns into live music all night long; very festive and interactive. Great for large parties, just a beautiful venue. Food was good. Totally worth it. Standard-ish Russian nightclub with all the usual amenities that come along with it except Encore has a nice bar area which you can just walk straight up to. No need for a table. The drinks were standard price and food was good. Overall atmosphere was fun and the singer's and show the night we went were fun and entertaining.

Very nice, contemporary, beautifully decorated restaurant. Food could be better - some us delicious and done is blend. Service is good. Music and Saturday show- the best in town. Every song- is a independent show! Just pure joy! Musicants doing fantastic job- never saw anything like in this place!!!

Lovely establishment. Venue is very attractive. Staff was cordial. Restrooms were clean. Great venue for an intimate evening or a large gathering. Only downfall is parking. It's is a heavily populated residential area so parking is extremely hard. Sometimes they have valet parking and it is worth every penny to toss the keys and go inside and enjoy yourself.

Ok play. All dusty. Food ok. Singers using phonogram and can't even hit it. Music selection also was weird. Mix of great songs with some weird forgotten songs. I think they've been singing it since 1991.

The place is beautiful big and pretty,the service is really not good ,when we first arrived for our reservation there was nobody at the door and we just had to stand in the hallway for like 5-10 min and there was no one to greet us and take us to our table.the waiter was not that involved in anything at all ,the food was good i have no complain about that , but when we asked for a check we saw that they add 20% tip for the service ,which is way too much for the service that we recived ,and also they charge for the water ,just regular tap water she charged us $8.i think the water should be complementary.

I am not sure what exactly was the problem. The event I was visiting or the general tiredness of the "Russian" style banquets but I was not impressed. I don't know if it was not the top notch presentation or not the best option available but it was unimpressive. The food was fresh and tasty but somewhat ... uninspired and it showed. The service was great but that wasn't enough.

I wish I could give more stars to this place. It has nice ambiance, beautiful décor and great entertainment. However, at one point there were lots of ants on the table crawling all over next to our food. When the ladies started screaming and got up in disgust and we tried to get staff's attention, we had to wait a while, as if the staff was programmed not to pay attention. One waitress was trying to put a serving of meat on that same place, and when I told her that there are ants there, she turned around and continued carrying the order to another table as if nothing happened. Unbelievable! It took about twenty minutes for a few people to come over and clean the table. No one offered any kind of apology. Is this really not a big deal ??? The food was very different than in other places of this type, but I cannot say it was outstanding. Some dishes were great, some, so-so. Other than the situation with ants, the waiters were friendly and helpful. I believe they lack training in unusual circumstances. Management should take this into account and provide better training for their staff.

Far cry from banquets we are used to. Table of 12. Food barely enough for 6. 1 stand for hot food which was always empty. If you are not at the table while waiter brings out hot food, you will not get anything. We got 2 spoons of rice, 1 piece of meat and were not lucky enough to get any potatoes. No Caesar salad, no oliv'e. 6 pc of small rolls for 12 people. A lot of "grass salads' that no one touched. Salmon was tasteless, white fish was good. Rice was good, meat and fish dry. On a bright note. Music mostly from 90's which we liked. Show. O my God. It's just an excuse. The older guy with long hair, didn't even bother to make it look like he sang during the show. So obvious when show was over and he turned 🎤 on. If you seat by the walls, you would not see the stage at all. Not a big loss, but considering that they have tv"s, they should at least put the show on, instead of some video. Overall, very disappointing. Quality of food 3 out 5 the most and only because 2 spoons of rice were amazing, quantity of food 0 out of 5 music (if you are in mid 40 and above ) 5 out of 5, show 0 out of 5, service 4 out of 5.

We went here for my moms birthday. Such a fun night! The place itself is beautiful decorated. The food was decent. The service however, not so good. I think they were short staffed but at the end we literally had to chase them down for our bill. The waiter seemed to forget about us having to pay lol. Also, we had to ask for a birthday candle for my mom about 20 times, not kidding. Show was very entertains, music was great.

Worst customer service. Stay away from such a unprofessional place. Right now we’re calling police in front of their building. They’re not going to return our deposit even if we’re canceling our event more than month in advance! Btw the manager was saying there will be no problem if we will change our mind. As we weren’t sure, so he pushed to pay deposit with all the good promises! And now we see. When we asked them to get deposit back they’re treating as they have “strongest lawyers”, and we can not do anything here. We will see. They really need strongest lawyer with these policies!!!! This review is dated November 30th 2019. What can I say we came to this place because we enjoyed it the first time but that was a function of the company i realize. The management is rude, the waiters overwhelmed and understaffed, food not fresh ( found things in it) and in all honesty we were ripped off when the bill came because what was discussed was not provided....I only wish I rejected the charge and disputed it with my bank which I still may do. I mean the waiters couldn't even pour drinks and the carafes were always empty, people were thirsty. From the amount of food for actual price charged this is by far the stingiest place in Brooklyn...and I've been going to russian restaurants for over 20 years. 125 dollar banquet and there is one plate (small dinner plate) of potatoes...for 9 people....okay. 4 people from my party had dietary restrictions....not for all the food just the main course, which was discussed before. We waited several hours for the dish (branzino) and when it came it was raw and inedible...so people at my party went hungry. Let that sink for a moment in a pre-banquet restaraunt. Oh and the manager told me he was doing us a favor accommodating....again....why not just refuse my booking, make both our lives easier. Our table was charged for people who we agreed to be alacarte, not part of the banquet....so we wound up paying 240 dollars for fish tacos. Note, for restaraunt, if you cant accommodate then dont agree...I didnt pull your tail to agree. I wont be one of those people that say money doesnt matter as I've learned in life you need to pay for what is good...but you also have to fight for when you're getting fleeced and in this place....you will be ripped off. So all in all 1. Rude management....check 2. Less food than promised....check 3. Lack of basic respect for the customer (management not staff) check.....great success.

Worst experience ever. We were served Chinese dumplings, one per person, small portions of everything, meat, salad, mashed potatoes, I mean very small portion, over cooked shrimp, etc. You can find much better restaurants in the area. My group and I went to this terrible restaurant for the first time, where we were told that for one person it was $150, in the end they charged us $180, I don’t know why they take such a lot of money from food, they brought a crust with mushrooms, then meat that wasn’t even enough for half the group and fish food I highly do not recommend going to this place as they will take a lot of money from you and bring you food that you won’t even get enough of and is not tasty

If I can give less stars I would. This place was the worst. The music was horrible. The food was alright. They cater to the older crowd more than the younger. I didn’t enjoy at all.

Terrible food. We got a banquet menu. Most food tasted like it was wormed up from an all-you-can-eat cheap buffet. The acoustic there is terrible; song selections (mostly music from 10-15 years ago) and performance of the artists made everyone from our large party leave well before the night was over. On top of that the owner tried to cut the costs on every dish that was served - steak salad for 12 people contained only few very tiny pieces of meat that were picked up by the first person who got salad. One somewhat tasty dish was a chicken liver patte but only few lucky ones had a chance to try it as the portion was very little.

Although this place has decent food, they ONLY cater to Russians. If you are off any other nationality, they will treat you like dirt. We went there on a Friday night. The place was empty. We were seated in the front by the bar. While we waited for the menu, the owner was walking around smoking a cigarette. He didn't care. The smell was intoxicating. They gave us a menu that was different than what they had online, which was on a piece if typing paper all crinkled. I can't help but think that they gave us the menu for NON- RUSSIANS! Don't waste your time going there if your not Russian! Needless to say, we walked out!

The food was undercooked, served raw, after letting the waitress know it was brought back undercooked again. This was a banquet style and from appetizer’s to main courses maybe about 6 served dishes were undercooked. Music was horrible, off tune. Restaurant itself is very cute

I had my birthday party there. We chose $95 banquet. There was simply not enough food. Most of the time the table was empty without the food. People were drinking and there was nothing to snack on. Worst experience ever. A coupe of hot entrees tasted horroble. Guests were complaing... The dessert that they include in $95 banquet is the worst ever. Those mini pastries tasted disgusting. This place SUCH A RIP OFF. Will never come back. Was such an embarrassment.

They did a great job ruining our Valentine’s Day. We had reservations for 8 at 5:30 and ordered food at 6. They brought out all entrees closer to 10 excluding 1. When we went to ask about the entree they didn’t bring out the owner or manager Nison or Nisim or whatever that disgusting human beings name is told me it’s cooking. It’s cooking for 4.5 hours? Instead of apologizing he gave us an attitude and started cursing us out. He told us if you wanna eat, wait, if not, leave. This is how they treat customers? Did we come here to eat for free? Disgusting place, disgusting service, don’t waste your time or money here. Absolutely repulsive place and service!!

I don't know how this place is surviving, the restaurant is always empty, music is old and not updated, like they live in Soviet Union, same music all the time. The entertainment team is old fashioned. The management is absolutely unprofessional like they never been in this industry. Food especially meat is horrible. This place i can tell you is very old fashioned and the people around are so rude aggressive, the management

We ordered banquet style dinner and was supposed include lobster tail and shrimp with risotto and Chardonnay creamy sauce. This dish was not served to us, when we spoke to the owner he said “it’s my mistake and should of told your earlier that it’s not going to served” basically not an honest guy. He should have at least offered a discount on the final bill. The music was good. The show was okay, just way too much talking.
