Danny runs a chill, top quality studio. He and Edrick made our streamed and recorded live performance easy and really effective. Danny's technical and editing skills are solid. Working at the studio was enjoyable and professional. I'd love to see what it's like when the coffee shop opens again.

One of the best I've been in terms of someone doing it the right way. The production is on point. They treat artist well. Everyone is chill. Atmosphere is on point. The beers they have on tap are great. Def try the 5 boro. I need mention this again full on production and streaming.

It takes the idea of connection from an individual and community level, and adds on internet broadcasts to like-minded artistic individuals all over the world. Bravo guys, well done.

So thrilled to have stumbled upon this space in Bushwick! Danny and his crew are total pros (and excellent humans) with a great setup and are wonderful to work with. Better quality livestreams than I've seen anywhere, a comfortable lounge area for drinking and (masked) mingling, and the coffee cocktails are bangin'. If you're looking for a space to film a show--or just a rad place to spend an evening--look no further!

FirstLive is a great forward thinking venue, good for community events, music, podcasts and discussions. The owner is a great entrepreneur and will discuss ideas with you. You can shoot a music video, do a live show, host a yoga place. The place is really hyper flexible. My experience has been great.

Truly a special place. Each and every member of their team is kind, caring, and passionate. After my first visit, I immediately felt a sense of belonging and I've been coming back with my friends ever since. FirstLive books a range of performers, but their mission to elevate those artists who are on their way up invites real community. You'll likely get a chance to personally thank the musicians and mix with others artists if that's your thing. If that isn't, just a good vibe all around regardless. Easy to talk to strangers at a place like this and make a meaningful connection. If you're going into the soundroom to watch the performances up close, don't forget your earplugs! FirstLive is a gem in Bushwick! Will always be grateful I ventured out that very first time. 🙏🏾

I came here to see a band scheduled at 8:30, and the band never got to go on because venue management let a different band set up for an hour instead. I wasted 2 hours waiting for nothing. The booking manager was not at the venue, which is also incredibly unprofessional. I heard a rumor that any new bands don't get to go on unless they tip the staff extra, so it sounds like the crew is trying to make extra $ on the side when unsupervised. They refunded my entrance ticket but not the drinks I bought while waiting or anything to recoup 2 hours of prime nightlife time I could have spent elsewhere. Don't come here if you value your time or money.
