Gun Hill Publick House Brooklyn Reviews
My favorite spot in The Bronx now has an outpost in Brooklyn. It’s worth the trek. Plenty of food delivery options to go with the great beers
Excellent hidden (for the moment) gem that’s just opened in Industry City. Great way to get to know their award winning beers without heading all the way to the Bronx. Great addition to IC.
This is their first location outside of the Bronx, semi-hidden on the second floor of Courtyard 5/6. 12 of their own beers on tap plus a few cans to go. They don't serve food but you are welcome to bring your own.
My first visit to Gun Hill. The Guavalicious Kettle Sour is very tasty if you like sours. It’s not too sweet or overly tart. I also had the Gun Hill IPA, which is very tasty as well. They also have pizza! I didn’t try it and didn’t see one come out so I’ll update this when I have more pizza news.
great spot. had a nacho pop up and lots of selection of drinks. very light drinks interestingly. and friendly bartender. also had games including one where you put clues on your head and it's pretty funny
Very cool spot with a great selection of beers. The staff is also super friendly.

I had 3 hours to kill while my phone was repaired so i dropped in, and John was great. He was teaching me about rugby, way more fun than American Football. I had the Vosburgh Cider. It's like having a Motts juice box, but it had booze. I forgot the name of the IPA, but it was delicious. But the last one I had called "That's no moon!" Was awesome. The beers are great, and be sure to say hello to Hercules. I had a great time. I can't wait to come back. Thanks John!
Excellent beer and great service. I love coming here Wednesdays for trivia.
Twelve CBs are on tap, with a good variety that includes mostly IPAs, but also lagers, ales, hard ciders, and Belgian ales. The brewing tanks are visible, adding to the comfortable atmosphere. They offer four sizes: 5oz, 10oz, pints, and pitchers, as well as a flight of four for $18. Located in a large commercial complex that appears to have been renovated from a rundown warehouse, the place has a stylish and inviting feel.
Came for the Barrel Aged Beer Fest, great atmosphere, great beers, cool event. The band was a little loud for such a hard-surfaced space, but the vibes were fantastic.
Love this place I enjoy the beer they offer and like the overall atmosphere also the bartender is a cool dude.
Great beer, nice people - had a problem, they fixed it straight away. Totally appreciate them being up front and on top of things. (Food isn't too terrible either) But go for the beer and stay for the bartenders!
Nice staff with a good selection of beers. They have some games you can play and a nice audio set up for music.

Conveniently located in the middle of Industry City, Gun Hill Publick House was a nice stop after a client meeting in the area. A nice selection beers to choose from. I enjoyed a spiced lager and my colleague loved the IPA he tried. Some basic personal pizzas for snaking and looks like live music happens there.
Pretty good brews. Service is meh. Tv channel selection is horrible - asked bartender if he could put on rangers but animal kingdom and a murder mystery remained on.

Nice beer
I have to agree with a previous post by Lauren Vasquez. The space, atmosphere, and bartenders are all great! They are immediately welcoming and very knowledgable. The atmosphere is peppy and fun. The beer (at least the one I had) is forgettable/disappointing. I got the Oktoberfest. It had little to no carbonation and tasted like slightly malty water. Price was good though, $7 for a proper pint. I would come back but I'll be trying the beer before I commit. Hope the next brew is more inspiring! Look forward to giving it a second go!
This brewery has a number of Gun Hill beers but also a few drinks from the Quartz Rock winery/cidery. I was surprised that this was in the larger urban park of Industry City. Inside this place in particular they serve small Table 87 pizzas which were kinda dry but good for filling you up. Overall, I feel like I'll have to return here soon.

Just want to note this location has great ambiance and the bartender went above and beyond for us. That being said the beers were just not it? I guess I would consider myself a beer snob, having lived in Colorado and frequently trying new breweries up and down the east coast from Virginia to Maine. The Gun Hill IPA is okay. We tried Napoleon Complex and Publick IPA and just have to say these are the worst two beers I think I've ever had. Felt like the review was necessary for honest feedback, if I had seen something honest about these beers I wouldn't have even wasted my time. Napoleon Complex tasted watered down with hints of pine needles(?). It had a sour profile to it which doesn't bode well with the watery taste. The Publick IPA had a mesquite taste(?) but again, watery. The only highlight was when we ordered a pizza (they don't have plates to give with their pizzas for some bizarre reason) our bartender helped us out and really went out of his way using the pizza tray as a plate for us. Their prices are also fair. If you come here ask to try the beers instead of wasting money, everyone has their own taste... this def was not ours.

Came in with a few friends and found the beers that I ordered to be pretty forgettable and bland. -1 Star I also found the bartender to be arrogant, condescending, and curtly. If you want to be a successful bartender you better lose the attitude and whatever chip is on your shoulder. -2 stars. There was also a dog behind the bar. I personally have no problem with this, but the health department may have an issue. Won't be coming back.
