Happy Wok Brooklyn Reviews
Great delivery Chinese food, nothing fancy but exactly what we were looking for. We got Mu Shu Pork, Scallion pancake, and mixed Lo Mein. All were hot and fresh upon arrival and texture and flavors were what we were craving! Thank you Happy Wok!
Great food, made quickly, at reasonable prices! Friendly staff. Highly recommend. Menu is really extensive so you can order really any kind of Chinese-American food you’re looking for .
I absolutely love this Chinese restaurant! My go-to order is the General Tso's Chicken Lunch Special with either chicken or pork fried rice. The fried chicken is crispy, and the sauce has just the right balance of flavors. (They are not stingy with the sauce!) The chicken mixed into the rice is smoky and perfectly seasoned. I've been a loyal customer here for four years, and Happy Wok consistently provides delicious food with generous portions. Their lunch special even includes a choice of soda or soup, and the price is around $21.25 after tax for two lunch specials.
Best roast pork egg foo young in the neighborhood
Just here to say the kung pao bean curd is fire - so flavorful and the veggies are so delightfully crispy.

Great Place to eat authentic Chinese food!
THE BEST CHINESE IN CROWN HEIGHTS I LOVE THEIR FOOD AND SERVICE SUPER QUICK AND TASTE. THEIR EGGROLL 10/10
My new fav chinese spot! Shrimp egg rolls have real, whole shrimps. Rolls are actually fried, not baked. Shrimp with Broccoli comes with a decent amount of jumbo sized shrimps. Can be a bit on the greasy and salty side. Need to remember to ask them to use less next time.
A true mom and pop Chinese American restaurant (or at least I assume the two are a couple). Has all the classics plus some items that I don’t see often at Chinese take out places. No frills but tastes good and satisfies that type of craving. So what more do you want. My only minor knock is some pricing seems a bit higher than I’ve seen, but I’m sure rent and food costs are rising so I get it. Lucky they are on door dash and uber eats so credit cards are accepted indirectly. I recommend pickup so you don’t hit the business with all those 3rd party fees.
Came here a lot when I lived in the area. Ordered from here for dinner mostly. Always had food ready fast and correct. I wouldn’t dine in because I lived so close but there is a table available. Will miss this place.
The lady at the counter’s so nice and the food is reliable. Just moved into the neighborhood and I’m here almost every other day

Food is excellent, ordered some Eggrolls and highly recommend, even ordered the Beef Chow Mein. Delicious as well!! Staff is nice and friendly.

finally!! a cheap hole in the wall chinese place within walking distance. surprisingly rare in seattle, where i’m from. i’ve only lived in brooklyn for two weeks and i’ve been to happy wok at least five times already. i love the egg drop soup (scorching hot, perfect), and the lunch specials are a great deal. the general tso chicken hits the spot. i can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu.
Inexpensive , quick eat when everything close. ATM machine available. Food is tasty…

There are multiple Chinese takeout places on Franklin Avenue,Happy Wok is my favorite. The staff is friendly, and orders don't take too long. Their fried rice and fried chicken are not overly greasy, they're both tasty. The wonton soup is alright, the dumplings are average. I would continue to order from Happy Wok.
The food is about what you’d expect from a decent Chinese takeout spot. The pork in the pork fried rice can be better. The Beef and Broccoli was good.

The workers here were so patient with some rowdy teens that came before me. It’s a standard nyc takeout spot. Decent portion for what I paid. Taste was fine, but my biggest complaint was that all of my sesame chicken and some of my rice were soggy/mushy.
We ordered on Uber Eats, it’s ^american chinese food, lacking flavors imo. the scallion pancakes were burnt and barely had scallion. The lo mein could use some more veggies, fried rice could use some more flavor.

Lady behind the counter was so rude and completely disrespectful will NEVER be spending money on this low tier chinese food again. I dont even want to eat it because of how rude that lady was.

Found hair in the food… never again… It’s ^american chinese food, lacking flavors imo. the scallion pancakes were burnt and barely had scallion. The lo mein could use some more veggies, fried rice could use some more flavor.
The food was mediocre. That would have been a pass if not for the treatment received. The older lady in front and the other older man were rude. I simply asked a question about an order I wanted and they were impatient for someone potentially paying them. And I'm not simply being sensitive. Another person came in, seemingly for the first time, just like I did, and they were pleasant and charming with his questions. My questions, just 45 seconds earlier, were met with hurry and discontent. Moods do not change that quick. Honestly, wish to give them a zero, if it were possible. First and last time eating there.
I will never order from this place again. After a year of loving their takeout (we would walk 20 minutes out of our way just to go here) we ordered and had an issue with the delivery. When we called, the delivery man and manager proceeded to curse us out over the phone. I have never been treated so rudely. While I used to be a loyal customer, due to the mistreatment and disrespect I will no longer return to Happy Wok.
They’re mad rude, they keep hanging up the phone telling you don’t call back, don’t spend your money here they DONT like or care for their customers. 0/10 and food not even allat place looks dirty
