Coffee Land Brooklyn Reviews
This place has the best baristas, family-friendly when I’ve come in with my toddler, tons of indoor and outdoor seating and fast service. The “blue cookie” birthday cake macaroon is a highlight but their matcha, lattes, cinnamon rolls and other small treats are all delicious. I appreciate that laptops are restricted at some hours so we always have a place to sit and it keeps the vibe pleasant. Favorite coffee shop in the area!
I lived in crown heights for 3 years and this was my favorite coffee shop. The staff is always really friendly, it’s never too loud, and they have lots of great food and drink options. The bagel sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, and pistachio cardamom cake are my faves. The iced chai is my drink of choice but their other lattes and matcha are excellent too. Now that I’ve moved, I’m still close enough to run a few errands once or twice a month in the area and I always use that as an excuse to stop by here when I can :)
one of the best coffee i had in Brooklyn, also a day i had bagels it was very good too, very warm and Cousy place.
I love this coffee shop! We go here multiple times a week and everyone is so friendly. The draft coffee is fantastic (I recommend asking for light ice or no ice). Bagels are great — just make sure to ask for them lightly toasted bagels (sometimes they toast them too much). The everything bagel with the scallion cream cheese is my favorite! And I love the pistachio pastry.
I ran in to grab a coffee and croissant both were wonderful! I must admit though, their coffee is really good and made with love. The customer service was also spectacular, they have a variety of flavors to add into your coffee. I did grab an iced coffee with hazelnut, I think next time I’ll try their lavender. Check them out and enjoy!
This coffee shop has a charming vibe with beautiful plants, intimate seating, offering small cozy corners perfect for a quiet escape. The coffee is consistently great, and the cookies are a tasty treat to go along with it. It’s definitely a popular spot, so be prepared for a line, but it’s worth the wait. They have super friendly and lovely staff which is great to start the day Overall, a lovely, cozy place to relax and enjoy a quality cup of coffee.
Coffee Land should definitely be a stop on your day in Brooklyn if you’re looking for delicious coffee, tasty vittles, and super friendly baristas all enclosed, in a warm, welcoming environment! Brooklyn was chilly and gray the day we visited, but the sunny smiles of the barista’s at Coffee Land immediately brightened our day. Our barista served up a delicious latte with oat milk, with dreamy foam, and a peppermint mocha that my girlfriend LOVED…in decaf!! Seating is spacious and comfortable and it was easy to avoid any draft at the door. We shared a slice if their tasty coffee cake, and a brief respite from the chill. This will be a new regular stop on our Brooklyn days!!
This is a lovely little unpretentious spot. When you walk in you are met with an enthusiastic hello and useful follow up questions for your order. They offer free Wi-Fi and the food was well prepared. I got a matcha tea latte and the veggie omelette. Prices are between $5 (bagel and cream cheese) and $14 (Lox bagel sandwich). Smoothies are $10. Also not mad at the Jagged Edge and Beyoncé that they were playing while I was there. 😊
Great coffeeshop plus cafe. Coffee was served in these large cups. Food was surprisingly good. Definitely recommend the grilled chicken sandwich! Flavorful combination of chicken, pesto, tomatoes and melted cheese on crispy bread. The bread was also surprisingly flavorful. Great place to spend a short or extended amount of time in. Outlets available for laptop work.
Very good Espresso Macchiato. Nice roomy interior Good music The place is very finely decorate in pale shades of green with a wall painting, a lot of light and a beautiful retro looking espresso machine. The espresso macchiato is perfectly prepared with a creamy deep tasting strong espresso and a dash of milk foam. The audio system distillates good lounge vibes too. A nice place to chill out, work, discuss.
A cool spot to come for lunch with your coworkers or even a lunch date.... This place is just a quick service and AC away from a five star rating. Unfortunately when I went there they were three people waiting and I had ordered her a smoothie there was only one guy at the counter. Took my smoothie about 10 to 15 minutes come out. They have a lot of things on the menu I will deathly try the coffee one time. The setting is really cool but it was just really hot and the ACs were not on. That is why I had to get the smoothie and not the coffee.
I had an unpleasant encounter with a lady in the front, who makes drinks. In my order , I asked for a croissant. I stated' I'm not sure if you all put butter on it ( meaning I'm not sure if they'd put it on for me) if not I'll take it on the side" The lady making the drinks states, we put tons of butter...that's why is called a butter croissant...in a very condescending and rude tone. As the customer, I shouldn't be made to feel like I'm wrong for asking for what I want, along with attitude. I ended up asking for the butter on the side...I'm very disappointed in the service, and I felt very unsettled by her response.
Let me start with the positives: Their espresso is good - the lattes I order are consistent and never too bitter. This place also has GREAT bagels. I'm not sure where they source them from, but they're large, fluffy, and well baked. The service staff is always friendly and you can tell they hustle, work hard, and care about their customers -- although there's usually always a wait time for food. They are also (maybe unofficially?) a dog friendly establishment. Now for the negatives: Regular coffee is meh. I switched up my usual latte order to an iced coffee once, hoping to spend less $$, and won't do it again -- ended up tossing the coffee and ordering a latte anyway :/. And that brings me to my biggest negative...it feels overpriced. I got a small iced latte and an acai bowl and they charged me 19 dollars?!?! And when I got home, what I saw GREATLY disappointed me (disclaimer I walked for about 15 more minutes before getting back to my apartment). There was hardly any acai, it was basically liquid, and it was also terribly sweet. So my takeaway: it's a great place to go on the weekends for a "special treat" coffee and a simple snack (such as a pastry or bagel), but the food doesn't feel worth the price, and it won't be somewhere that I can visit for my daily cup of coffee.
There are SO. MANY. FLIES. All the time. I'm sorry but it's so gross >.< Food is delicious if not overpriced. Dont get iced espresso drinks unless you like the taste of ice-shocked espresso.
