Jamaican Jerk Hut's Fried Chicken is really good! If you haven't tried it, please do... well seasoned, not salty and cooked done. No sketchy, too-pink at the bone, maybe-done-but-not-quite insides for this chicken. Chicken Cooked Done! Yum Yum!

I got the jerk chicken and rice and peas today. It was freaking delicious. My husband got the curried potatoes and shrimp which was also very, very good. Service was fast and friendly. Pepper sauce was on point. Would definitely go again.

Omg, stop by here because it was recommended by a friend. I ordered the chicken soup and let me tell you the flavor was on point. You could taste the seasoning, and just the right amount of spice. I'll definitely be back.

Again, another business that doesn't allow riff raff to loiter around in their establishment, very professional environment and decent food. 👍

The oxtails are really good..well seasoned & balanced. & 20 for medium, $40 for a large but the pieces are meaty. The jerk chicken is good...not too spicy. The jerk sauce tastes like spicy barbecue. My partner complained that the stew chicken has hard & overcooked. Medium chicken with cabbage, rice, 1 piece of plantain was about $13. It was $7 & up for a slice of cake. Having a menu with prices displayed for the customer to view would help. The server was pleasant.

I just ordered two baked Chicken Dinners, One Curry Chicken Dinner. You have to find a better way to seal your bags!! The baked chicken was in a small pain when I ordered large!!! It had BBQ sauce on it, I ordered baked. The bag was not closed properly and I watched the delivery person sit in one spot for a very long time. The same person was picking both my orders, then it switched delivery person!! Please seal the bags so they can’t be switched or tampered with!! Thank you!!!

I ordered the jerk chicken meal. Either the sauce on the chicken was spoiled, or the chicken itself was spoiled. The chicken had a very sour taste to it. I had to trash it which was upsetting. Nonetheless, the chicken was cooked perfectly and everything else was good. 3.5/5 rating

It's too bad the ratings are low. I was going to go for the first time but the bad ratings stopped me from going. It reminded me of this last Jamaican place i went to. The Rice and Peas were so flavorless and mushy. Then the oxtail was small, tough, and the sauce was watery and flavorless. I couldn't believe it. Made me think for a second Jamaicans don't know how to cook anymore 😂

The rice and peas is cooked really well, like don’t need too much gravy flavorful. Roti was perfect temp and texture. Jerk chicken was fire. The lunch special looks small but is a really full. Beware, they are not consistent with orders once waited 1/2 hour on app just for them to call and say they ran out of food

Rasta pasta was overly sweet, and so was oxtail for some odd reason .. it lacked genuine flavor and it just was not it . However the jerk chicken from outside on the grill was a 10/10!!!!

Ordered from DoorDash. The oxtail meal came with yellow rice and vegetables, not rice and peas. It also tasted like Dominican style oxtail which I don’t like.

The food was ok, I ordered two meals off of Uber eats they forgot to send the oxtail order. They said they didn’t put it in the bag. I ordered extra sauce no extra sauce, no utensils and when I called them they asked me to order something else to get the missing order delivered.

Food only at 3 star because I didn't even eat it so I cannot judge it, that's because they had very rude service to the point that I couldn't receive my order. On my next journey for oxtail there I will update and give them another fair shot.

I ordered from here for the 1st time. I ordered whitening fish meal, peanut punch and Plantains. I didn't get any plantains with the order though. So I'm going to get on the phone with Uber The whiting fish was okay the peanut punch wasn't sweet enough for me. I don't think I will be ordering from here again. Don't forget he bumbaclot plantains!!!

The food is sometimes good, the jerk sometimes a bit TOO spicy. But they are stingy with their food. Literally only put ONE piece of plantain on your plate no matter what size you get. Oh also, worst attitude.

I ordered stew chicken roti. You gave the Uber curry goat roti. It’s okay if you don’t have any more stew chicken if you’re that desperate for money. Some people are allergic to curry. Wid unno renking food.

It's amazing how disrespectful and miserable these people are! If you're having a good day don't come to this restaurant because they will definitely ruin your day and end your happiness! West Indians are usually disrespectful anyway but this level of unprofessionalism will make you wanna strangle someone! I guess the old lady owns this location and she feels like she can talk to every customer however she wants! You can tell she's evil all the time because the old man who must be her husband sits in the back and shakes his head in embarrassment because he has to live with that Miserable lady!

On 6.6.22 via Uber Eats, I ordered the Curry Chicken Lunch Special with white rice and paid extra for a side of plantains. I also requested extra napkins on the app. Upon delivery, I saw “No Plantains” written on the brown paper bag containing the food. I opened the container and saw ONE plantain. There was also only ONE napkin inside the brown bag. The order took approx. 25 mins to process and deliver and in that space of time I did not receive a call or notification that plantains were not available. I was not given the option to choose another side. However, I was still charged the additional $3.00 for the side. This is unacceptable and poor customer service from Jamaican Jerk House. Delivery guy was, however, friendly and professional.

I spent $19 on an oxtail meal, and they only gave me 1 big oxtail and 3 small oxtails = 4 pieces n the big 1 is full of fat. They didn't render down the fatty parts. They extremely lack flavor. Utter disappointed. I WILL not make the mistake of giving them another sale. I'm honestly not convinced this is real oxtail meat!! It's disgusting and rough, inedible.

Last order I specifically asked for rice and peas and steamed cabbage. Received rice and peas and green salad. I ordered a large jerk chicken order only and received a regular order of boneless jerk chicken and rice and peas. The mac and cheese was dry and tasted old not fresh. Willing to give it another try because we can you really get Jamaican food in ENY, and they canceled my order!

I ordered via uber. The store accepted my order than turned around and Canceled my order claiming I called to cancel and the meal was aleady being prepared. I did not cancel the order, the store did. When I tried to call them 1hour before closing they didn't even answer. So how would I call and cancel? They robbed me. Uber paid them, I got nt but my money stolen.

I ordered from here on Uber eats. Got my food really fast but our plantains and peas and rice were missing, from both orders, we also thought the chicken would taste like Jamaican jerk chicken but really it taste like American jerk chicken lol. The Mac & cheese also needs more flavoring, very plain. This is exactly why I hate trying new places :(

This was my visit . 1 salmon, Pasa,Potato Salad..fry chicken, rice &peas and Potato Salad $41 and change. The server never told me $4 extra for the Pasta and $2 for Potato Salad. Plus they charge sur charge to use you card..I won't recommend anyone plus they share your food like its for a child small.

I found a roach in the porridge the curry goat and rice and peas not freshly cook you can feel and taste the slime on it! Mercy Hospital Jesus. And my coworker found a roach in the soup. She asked me to buy it. We vomit, vomit. When we saw it. Dirty place.

I ordered a large chicken soup. What I got was a large yuka/cassava soup. No chicken. I will say that the food is good. But when I order chicken soup, I would like to see atleast a piece of chicken in it. What's worse, is that the girl (short, light skinned) was scooping up chicken and putting it back in the pot to find some more potatoe/yuka/cassava to put in my container. I will stay with golden crust. Atleast you get what you want/pay for.

I really try to give them a chance on more than one occasion. Yes the food is good but the customer service is DISGUSTING! It’s no way I should be waiting 15 mins to order when it’s only one other person in line . They always have a attitude all of the females.I would not recommend.

I oxtails were horrible they were not tender at all you end up chewing forever then spitting it out. I asked for peas and rice but I was sent under cooked white rice that was hard and half raw. When they open at Comcast center concourse, I was excited. I love Jamaican foods. But it was a same day disappointment. Greens, cabbage, mac and cheese have no taste, rice&beans and plantain are super dry, fish okay, the rest just fine. Jamaican foods suppose to be full of flavors but not on this place. And it’s very pricey too. Looking forwards for improvement.

No customer service what so ever… The lady(food sever) was rude and she seemed she didn’t care about the well being of the business cos she is the kind of person who will make the business go bad ( speaking from experience) . I have chains of restaurant back in South. If I am the owner I will fire her at the soonest . She surely is not meant for such things. All I did was asked whether they have chicken soup or not and and for some reason she seems annoyed at me and said no and then she turned her back towards me amd that is a bid no no to the goodwill of the business specially when the customer needs ur service. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE & THEY ARE VERY NASTY, especially ordering through a third party service like Doordash. I ordered a oxtail dinner and plantain & I did not get that order at all. I received brown stew with yellow rice and a large chicken soup. (normally I get a phone call if a certain item is not there, but I didn't receive anything not a text nor a call). I spoke to a cashier/server on the phone and she was very rude with me and said to talk to Doordash not them & I explain that I did and Doordash told me to talk the restaurant before they can issue any refunds. I tried to ask for the lady's name and she responding saying "why do you want my name for?", and then I asked for a "manager" and she says that the manager is not there and asked me "are you slow?". Then a "manager" takes the phone and asked me "how may I help you?", I told her what happened and she said goodbye and hung up on me. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN they are very RUDE & DISGUSTING as workers and people that is SERVING food. Stay far away I beg you.
