Chang Pai Queens Reviews
This place is one of those go-to comfort places for me. One of the reason is their Thai soup . I’d say it’s my favorite Thai soup in all of Queens so far. The service is quick and friendly, and the food actually comes out pretty fast.
Had a great lunch. The sesame chicken and vegetable fried rice was fresh and delicious. Our server Tushar was informed and attentive. I'll definitely be back.
It was a wonderful experience overall. The food was delicious, and although the service felt a little rushed today, I truly appreciated the staff’s effort. The young girl, the boy, and the lady who I believe is the manager were all very attentive and kind. When they brought our food sizzling hot to the table, it made the moment even more special. I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.
I recently ordered food from Chang Pai Restaurant, and my experience was mixed. I tried the Chicken Lollipop, Fish Fingers, and Chicken Pakora. The Chicken Pakora was the highlight—it was delicious and perfectly cooked. However, the Chicken Lollipop felt undercooked and lacked the flavor I was expecting. The Fish Fingers were disappointing, with a strong fishy smell that made them unappetizing. Overall, it was a hit-and-miss experience. I’d consider ordering again but would avoid the Fish Fingers next time.
A delightful discovery! After reading several positive reviews, I decided to give this place a try. The cuisine is a fusion of Thai and Chinese flavors, and it truly impressed me. For my first visit, I opted for the lunch special, which was a fantastic deal at less than $9. It included a flavorful Hot and Sour soup and shrimp noodles. To add a little extra, I also ordered the chicken lollipop (6 pieces) for around $12. The food was delicious, with the noodles perfectly seasoned and the chicken lollipop crispy and well-prepared. The service was excellent—friendly and incredibly welcoming. The lady in charge (possibly the owner) stood out with her warm smile and attentiveness, regularly checking in to ensure everything was to my liking. Service was quick and efficient, making the experience even better. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned the very next day, this time with a friend to share the experience. On our second visit, we also tried the Mixed Fried Rice, which was exceptional. The beef was tender and well-marinated, and the dish had just the right amount of spice to enhance the flavors without overpowering the taste of the meat and shrimp. This is definitely a spot I’ll revisit. With the $7.99 lunch special, you really can’t go wrong. If you’re in the area, it’s absolutely worth a try!
We have ordered Chang Pai Chinese foods for 30 people with some delicious items like Chicken lollypop, Changpai chicken fried rice, Chili chicken, Changpai sizzling beef, and Chowmein Beef & Chicken mix (medium spicy) and enough people ate and food was really delicious and all guests loved the hospitality and food. Thanks for Chang Pai for the great service and great chef of Chang Pai and thanks all staffs and Md. Tuhin bhai,
I went there for the first time for two people. I order the fish fry. I didn’t like much. I have had better fish fry with similar price. Food wasn’t expensive. The shrimp fry was good. The sizzling was also good. Recommend for family, friends or couple. Not sure they require reservations or no. Will go again with family and try other items on the menu.
Nice decor. Been there once and I liked the food but it can be better. The staff are friendly and made sure we are doing ok and always checked if we needed anything. The food we had were Tomyum Soup which was a bit on the salty side, Beef Sizzling which had some pieces either very soft and some very chewy and General Tso Chicken which seemed a bit too sweet. Overall 8/10
Got the beef and broccoli. And the General Tos chicken. Taste is very good. Portion is large. But the wait time is long. After 25 minutes I went and asked and the cashier had to go pack it. If I didn't go ask id probably be waiting a lot more time. So keep that in mind when ordering.
We really like to dine in there with my whole family. And always food we like it. Mostly chicken lollipop my all kids love it so much and most of the time we order for online only chicken lollipop so how many we get order for chicken lollipop like most of the time they’re gonna send the chicken lollipop so burn. I don’t know why and we complain twice on this store and last time we already call them and request them to make our chicken lollipop well cooked not burn because last time they did burn so they say OK and we order three order of them after than when delivery home my kids open and they’re gonna be try to eat or they can’t eat because they all are burn so they don’t like it then after that when my daughter come in and she’s a mom and it taste different and nobody like it. After that saw everything is burn. Then I called there tell them my kids already try to eat, but they can we can eat because it’s too much burn so what should we do now because we are regular customer over there. They don’t Blv me than I send them pictures and videos. After that they says whatever we have left we can keep it. They gonna make it another Oder and they gonna come to us so I take it whatever we have because the kids already bite it and mess up like one and half boxe . So when they came here they are very rude of us. They ask me why we are eat it if it’s burn! Nw are you guys told me what’s wrong here if I told them already my kids try to eat. We have big family members I can’t stopped them Bcz they are kids and they can’t eat they just mass and thow it , but still there keep talking and keep so rude with us and telling us they don’t wanna see us to their store. They are treating very badly and request us. We are not buying any food from their store, but how could they? How can they say that I am so surprising . Bcz they did wrong also they are telling the costumer front of mouth do never come there store anymore . I hope karma gonna comes to them soon . Amin
Ordered Manchurian Duck, Sizzling Duck, and Chili Duck. Most of it is inedible BONES. A container full of what I assume is duck neck but may actually be Chicken. Barely ANY meat between all three orders. Too much oil and color makes it looked overcooked. No vegetables in the Chili Duck, barely any in the other two. Why is there liver in the orders? It looks like they take from the SAME pot and adjust the seasonings. To the trash it goes. NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS JOINT AGAIN.
