Kathy's Dumplings Brooklyn Reviews
Kathy’s is a pretty authentic chinese dumpling shop. You can tell their wrappers are made fresh in house. I got the chicken and celery dumplings and beef noodle soup and both were fantastic
My 3.5 year old gets psyched whenever we order the rainbow dumplings from Kathy's. Yummy dumplings and quick delivery. Pan fried pork dumplings are solid. The juicy pork buns warm your cold soul on a winter day. Big believer in the Special Pancakes.
Fresh vegetables and tasty jasmine green tea. Spring rolls definitely are greasy from being deep fried, the simple ingredients are super yummy.
Excellent. Had the steamed and fried dumplings. The braised beef noodle soup hit the spot. Fresh rolls were the best I've had. Wish there was more of a peanut sauce but the sauce that came with it was good. Amazing. Will be coming back!
Probably the best dumplings I've ever had. Def recommend the special pancakes and rainbow dumplings. You can tell that their food is made with love.
Had the vegetable and pork dumplings. Both were really delicious! It was really evident that everything was homemade and fresh. The prices are also super reasonable!

Very authentic and delicious food!
A family favorite - we’ve been going here since it opened. Some of the best veggie dumplings in the city, and a good variety of other options all of which taste great. Tea/boba is not the best but otherwise delicious
Amazing food and service. Their Braised Beef Noodle soup is out if this world it's hearty with just the right amount of spice, their dumplings are wonderful. And the friendly feel when you walk in is like no other a must in Bay Ridge
This spot is an absolute gem. The food is consistently outstanding. We have ordered most of the menu at this point and everything is fresh and delicious. We are lucky to have this restaurant in the neighborhood!
I ordered Kathy’s Special Pancakes and a Mango Boba Tea. I was very happy with both items. You could tell the food was freshly made and used fresh ingredients. The shrimp inside the pancakes looked and tasted new, and the pancakes themselves were very crispy. It came with four rolled pancakes and was a good snack that felt about the size of an appetizer. The boba was nice and chewy, while the flavor of the tea was refreshing. I’d definitely go back again if I’m in the area to try out other things on their menu.
Amazing food. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Authentic homemade dumplings. Doesn't get much better than this.

Nice place! Real friendly, good bubble tea, I recommend the coconut, and dumplings made to order.

Great little place for some delicious authentic dumplings. Made to order. Only had north vegetable dumpling but it was delicious. Lovely service. Would definitely come back.
Dumplings are delicious and well priced. Especially love the salty egg dumpling and their savory soup dumplings.

(M, 30) Very friendly staff that could easily answer questions. The actual environment was pretty bare. Not much for the eye to see. My beef and onion pancake was delicious. However, the Luffy Shrimp dumplings had a hair embedded into one of them so I didn't get to enjoy the dumplings sadly since I ordered take out. I gave 3 stars because I think I'd visit again and give them another chance as mistakes happen.
I ordered the scallion pancake. It was thin and had little taste. The shrimp dumplings were steamed and were 5 in an order. Small and O.K. The wonton noodle soup was disappointing. Most places will provide a separate or additional container of soup broth. The restaurant did not provide any additional soup. The "soup" came in a half filled bowl with little soup, several small wontons and a few strips of bok choy. The food overall is average. The woman taking the order at the restaurant is friendly. Several tables for dining in. No air conditioning on a warm day.

Quaint little dumpling spot. Staff was friendly, and selection is decent. I found the prices a little high, compared to some other places. The pan-fried pork dumplings were very good, but the soup dumplings left much to be desired. Skin was a bit think, insides weren't too hot and very little liquid. They also don't have larger soup dumplings spoons, making eating them difficult with a tiny plastic soon.
Food came out fast and piping hot. Ordered the braised beef noodles but there was more watery soup than noodles. There were only 3 piece of small cubed beef as well which was disappointing. The flavor was good but there were so many winged ants and termites flying around. One was also in my soup. Left hungry. The decor is bare minimum, it's hard to tell if this place is open since it's pretty dark and all of the seating plus decor is at a bare minimum. It was an okay experience but I don't think I would return.

Just pretty disappointing to be quite honest. Got the shrimp & luffa dumplings, and the shrimp & egg dumplings. Neither had much shrimp or much flavor. The dumpling was quite doughy, thick and bland. On top of that, it took roughly 20 minutes to make and I clearly saw them being taken out of a bag, frozen. Overall, overpriced and disappointing.
