It Amazing place 😍 ❤ food delicious 😋
Where ever people say good or bad. All I know is that I always enjoy being at La Gualaceña The food is delicious and thy have lot of choises,of course I love how they treat me
Awesome Ecuadorian food. I live in the bronx but when I need some good Ecuadorian food, I bypass Queens and come here. That should tell you something.
The beer and ceviche camarones was a delightful lunch. Elizabeth was a cheerful server.
The service was great and friendly. They had a wide variety of food, however it was not that good. We ordered morocho and not only was watery, it tasted like water with sugar and vanilla- with a hint of coconut 🤷🏻♀️ The bandera - the guatita was so watery, but it was tasty/ the goat also watery but tasty. The ceviche needed salt - had no taste, I had to add the non spicy-hot sauce (delicious) for flavor. The hornado was delicious. We also had the arroz marinero which was just okay - it had imitation crab & tuna (WHY?!🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️). I am Ecuadorian and know my food and people, and it seems that the folks that cook are from the Sierra which are not the best at making food from the coast. I recommend to have food from that region such as the Horando which was delicious. I wouldn't recommend to bring children either, it's more like a sports bar feel... they had a soccer game on and all the intoxicated guests were screaming like maniacs and cursing. They not only scared me, but the 3 year old we were with. We only stopped by because it had good reviews in Google. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.
Terrible food, service and atmosphere.
dude, its 1am. PLEASE turn the music DOWN. some of us do work on saturdays.
Ordered the dish “caldo de gallina” just received the caldo but no “gallina”. I called the restaurant several times and no one answered. Then I called the delivery boy who put the owner on the phone to speak with me and he told me ‘I got you next time’.
It took an hour n a half to bring a ceviche and a shrimp salad. It wasn't even busy. The ceviche tasted like dirty water and the salad was horrible too. I'm sorry for the bad review but you need to fix up this customer service and hire a cook that can a a tually cook good authentic food.
I had a food poisoning after eating in this place. It was a terrible experience..
Public nuisance. At 2:30am this small restaurant blasts music. Because of their disrespect to the community I'd never order food from them.
The waitress don't understands nothing they have no experience in a restaurant. She doesn't speak English and they are rude with the costomers
Horrible service didn’t even give food when asked for it had to walk away
OMG The service here is terrible but the food is good
Food is as awful as the service. Quaker was watered down leaving it with no flavor. Ceviche de camarón looked good but had absolutely no flavor. If i am honest all the dishes we asked for looked appetizing but had no flavor to back it up. Won’t be coming here again. On to the next foodie adventure.
