Love and I mean LOVE Vex! Angela is amazing, the menu always has something to offer and the plethora of changing trinkets always something to eye and buy. The owner is a delight, get that "where everybody knows your name" vibe a slice of cheers right here in Brooklyn.. Try them out you won't be disappointed.

Yesterday, I stopped by VEX Cafe in Bushwick on a local’s recommendation, and it did not disappoint! Their variety of latte flavors was impressive, and the chill atmosphere, paired with thoughtfully curated decor, made it the perfect spot to start the day. The place is well-maintained and has a relaxed vibe that invites you to linger. Highly recommend for coffee lovers or anyone seeking a cozy spot to unwind

I came in here the other day instead of going to Variety and I was pleasantly met by the most wonderful barista, John, he expertly crafted my drink and gave the service you’d hope to get from a small coffee shop. My drink was good but John made me feel like it’s a place I want to keep coming back to. Loved the service here!

If you are looking a high quality coffee, latte, or cappuccino this is the best place in Bushwick. They have a nice menu to pick from, with fresh pastries. The customer service is deserving of more than 10 stars. Not a big review writer, but this place deserves the time.

The atmosphere was relaxing, and everything appeared clean. I think the decor and nautical style was interesting. I ordered a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese and pumpkin butter and a large coffee, but I do think they were a little over priced for what I received. The coffee was good but maybe not worth $3.75, and the bagel was pretty simple and soft (although the toppings were good). Overall I'd recommend trying it if you want to just chill somewhere with a book or a friend, but if you're just coming to grab breakfast and run out the door you might be a little underwhelmed.

It is an very nice place, it is like being at home. The team speaks Spanish and english and they are LGBTQ friendly and that is important to me. The service is fast, with great attention and at all times they make you feel special. I love the little shop area that the cafe offers for you to buy products.

However, consider bringing noise cancelling earplugs - the acoustics of the space are not for anyone migraine prone or sensory sensitive as the voices and machines become super amplified and loud in this tiny space with barely any sound absorption. Food wise, the cedar scone was very tasty, and my chai latte tasted like sweetened milk. Will definitely come back to try something else.

Decent small shop coffee spot with all the regular fixings. Indoor and street seating and friendly staff! Reasonable prices as well. Perfect for coming with a friend on a nice day. They’ve got a decent assortment of pastries too!

I got the horchata latte. It was not authentic horchata but made with a powder and tasted more like oatmeal than horchata. When I got to the bottom of my drink there was about two tablespoons of thick powder :(
