Lala's Pizzeria Brooklyn Reviews
Some of the best pizza i’ve had in NYC, lots of new beers always coming out, and fun events planned all month! Such a nice rooftop, with actually good beer and amazing food!
Wow, this spot is amazing for delicious craft beer and super flavorful food with locally sourced ingredients (I love that they actually provide the suppliers for all of them!) I loved the spontaneous ales - both the Koyo Berry and Apricots & Riesling Grapes varieties in their Ambient Fizz line are amazing! For food, I highly recommend the Bacon & Jam pizza witn mozzarella, Benton’s bacon, bucheron goat cheese, and house-made fig jam. Such a perfect salty-sweet combo! The malted chocolate chip cookie is also SO GOOD!! Can’t wait to come back and try more 😍
The bar tender was super helpful and our server Michael was great. The pizza and beer was so good didn’t get photo till we were almost done.
La La’s “clam pie” is the best pizza I have ever had!! My friend, Tracy, and I had Irene, our bartender/server, add bacon to the pie! It was ridiculously delicious!! Irene was also amazing!! In addition to be an awesome server she clued me in on fun thing to do in Brooklyn!! Added bonus seating upstairs and downstairs and they played 70’s & 80’s R & B!! I was in heaven!!
Had pizza here last weekend & the experience was excellent. It’s a great rooftop space that relaxed & not overcrowded. I tried 2 pizzas in the New Haven style, the pepperoni & the squash and they were very good. There are many beers & a handful of wines available too that make nice pairings with the pizza or just a refreshing beverage on a hot summer day. I would def recommend popping over, putting your name on the wait list, grabbing a drink downstairs & waiting to enjoy the chill atmosphere upstairs.
Amazing! This pizza is perfection. Flavor, creative toppings, thin and crispy. Also loved the spreadable salami and the crackers are a must. Perfect combo with the amazing beer and wine.
Cool rooftop location Tasty pizza offerings Good beer on tap "Autumn Cozy" was just as described. A little odd that the basic red sauce pie doesn't come with mozzarella except as an extra fee but other than that, no complaints.
Having been to New Haven, i was excited to learn one of my favorite local breweries were opening a new haven style pizza restaurant on their roof! We went the second day they opened and I have to say: it stands toe to toe with new haven apizza. We got the clam pie and the traditional red, both were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the clam pie more than I had thought i would. I got a clam pie in new haven that i wasn’t very fond of. Highly recommend it and so happy to have yet another amazing pizza stop in the neighborhood.
Food was delicious, loved both of the pizzas I got, super fresh and yummy, the atmosphere was fun and nice. Overall great experience, I highly recommend!
Incredible crispy crust pizza with unique toppings. My favorites are clam pizza and pepperoni with chilis and honey. They also have great Grimm beer and wine. It looks great too, green and blue tile, pink velvet, long wooden tables.
Great spot to grab a delicious beer and pizza! Highly recommend the Hot Pepperoni Pie with Mozzarella - it was amazing. Lots of beer on tap at Grimm downstairs too. One of our new Brooklyn go-tos!
Amazing beer from Grimm and phenomenal pizza from Lala’s. Favorites are the hot pepperoni pie and the crisp air is a great ipa.
Great drinks and i loved the atmosphere. There is a rooftop which is great

Relaxed vibes, a little oasis with its balcony. And tasty pizza perfect for. Two person share.
This place is 2 business in one location. Grimm’s Ale House & Lala’s Apizza. The sign & door for Lala’s looks like it leads to a staircase that goes up. But fortunately for me that door was locked.. So I figured out that I had to go into Grimm’s to access the pizza place. It’s really a micro brewery with huge tanks of beer in the back. A small bar in the front and communal tables spread around.. Very no nonsense. The alcohol and other drinks seems to be just their in-house brand.. The real star of this place is the pizza. Very similar to the pizzas that you can get in New Haven, Connecticut.. the char on the bottom looks burnt so make sure you like that before you go here. We met Dustin who makes the pizza and he was very friendly and professional.. plenty of locals patronize this establishment. Reasonably priced.. Card payments are accepted. I’m sure it gets very busy when the weather is nice outside. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try we will definitely be going back.. Thank you to the owner for responding. We look forward to patronizing your establishment again soon. ESJ
Nice atmosphere upstairs at Lala’s Apizza (pronounced “uh-bEEtz”, as it is in New Haven). I just wish Lala’s was open all week (it’s weekend only). If the bottled “All My Friends Were There” barley wine ale was carbonated it’d be better. Well presented pepperoni apizza, but next time, I’ll add mozzarella.
Really good food and very fast service. Atmosphere was really nice on the rooftop
Nice rooftop. Pizza was delicious. And of course Grimm’s beer is always on point. The decor was nice.
The pizza crusts are perfectly crispy and chewy and there's a great selection of both traditional and eclectic pots

Stopped by here on a cloudy / rainy Sunday early afternoon for my gfs bday with a party of 9 people. The inside was on the full side so we didn't find any open seats when we arrived but after a few minutes a group left and we were able to sit together. The atmosphere is mixed. There were groups that were celebrating a kids birthday as well as other groups celebrating adult bdays. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pizza did not satisfy anyone in our group. These pizzas are equivalent to a dominos thin crust except that dominos has more flavor. The drinks were good, my gf enjoyed all of the drinks she ordered. It's a decent place to come hangout, have drinks with friends and munch on some snacks after a few drinks but I would not come here just for their pizza. Do not expect NYC style flavored pizza here. Expect watered down Domino's thin crust. And this is coming from a Queens native who loves 🍕.

Pretty disappointed. Ordered a pizza for pick up came out to 31.57$. Outside is very burnt. Size feels too much for 1 person but not enough for 2 (clever on their end).
