Maya’s Snack Bar Brooklyn Reviews
Do you like corn, mango and cucumbers? Now imagine them covered in delicious tajin, takis, tostitos or chili, then smothered with hot sauce and some lime! Not your style, have some scooped ice cream or a paleta (ice cream bar). Still want more, go for the natural juices or the different flavored Jarritos sodas. Highly recommend and they have various locations!
It was my first time coming here. I got the crazy watermelon and a few conchas (which were AMAZING) The experience here was very welcoming and friendly. The girls that were there, Kimberly and Jazmine, were sooo sweet and nice!! The place is super clean and well kept, the bathroom was super clean too! I just loved everything about this place. It was my first time trying a few things and I was not let down, will most definitely come back to try more of the many options they have here!
MAYAS IS AWESOME. Everything is so clean, the music is always boppin and your food is prepared with so much love. What more could you ask for? I go every time I feel a bit seasonally depressed and I go during my happiest moments in the summer. Your day is just better after you’ve gone to Maya’s.
The mangoneada was incredible. Big fan of mango so it was an obvious choice for me , my girl went with the watermelon and finished before I drove home so I couldn’t get a picture of that , but she said it was great and fresh as the mango. Will go again because I was an English speaker and didn’t exactly notice there was food on the menu; but there was no problem at all ordering in English. Enjoy ! Great spot !
I thought it was okay. I really enjoyed the fresas con crema. Was like a frozen yogurt with strawberries. Better eaten with a spoon than a straw though. I didn’t really like my mangoneada. Was too thick like syrup. But maybe I’ll give it another chance as mangos are more in season or the limón flavor.
Very disappointing experience to be honest. I have been dying to go to this place for a long time, I finally made the trip on Memorial Day. I walked in and not a single person in there greeted me, as a customer I felt awkward. Instead I got nasty looks from an elder gentleman who looked to be the owner or manager. That’s terrible because there stuff is very delicious. The only reason I ordered anything was because I traveled from the other end of Brooklyn. The staff needs to work on customer appreciation mask on and all you can still smile and greet your customers.
Amazing snacks BUT Horrible Horrible customer service !! Literally waited 40 min for two ice cream and a chamoyada. People that order way after me were going in and out !! They need to be more organized! . One of the guys had to retake my order & he was actually the only nice one & apologized after one of the workers was very rude towards me while I was just sitting waiting for my order claiming she called me about my order when she clearly dint , no one called me & they literally retook my order, they dint even know what my order was !
One lady working taking her sweet time purposely going slow
Yesterday i bought 2 drinks and they only gave me this cardboard holder with no bag before i got home which was 2 blocks away it breaks and spills everywhere and on my new shoes plus they dont want to give refund mind you 12 dolar per drink. Im crying now cause this topped off my bad day when i just wanted to have a nice horchata a agua fresca of frutas
No, I didn't like this, the mangoneada has no flavor, besides the mango pieces were green and they didn't put almost any chili on it and I paid almost $12dls for this and $5.50 for the small ice cream that according to its flavor was goose but tasted like simple vanilla 🤦 we will never come back here 😓
