Mi Bella Dama Brooklyn Reviews
My favorite spot for Mexican food in Brooklyn. It’s ideal for takeout or walking in there to grab a quick bite. The main value here is good pricing for great Mexican food. Customer service is also consistently great. Food highlights include tacos (Al pastor and chicken), burritos, plates (A La Mexicana), and nachos. Can’t go wrong really. This place is also a unicorn since they don’t prompt you to tip and are happy with your business.
My friend recommended me this place for tacos and I love them!!! I tried al pastor and cecina and both were delicious! they were not oily or greasy and the tortillas were so good. Definitely ordering again!
THERE’S SOMETHING IN THE WALLS!! 😀 I don’t know what it is but it’s a good thing. I hear it. If you put your ear against the wall or the chairs or table you can hear it. Definitely a good thing. Without a doubt. Maybe that’s what makes the food so good? That’s the yummy spirit. Making its way into each of the dishes. That would make a lot of sense actually. It’s that yummy spirit in the walls seeping in the food. I know I already kinda said that but I wanted to say it again to re emphasize the point. Thanks! 🤩
Simple and delicious taco joint. The tacos are absolutely piled with meat and toppings! We got the tacos gringos (lettuce, tomato, avocado, sour cream, cheese) in chorizo and pastor, $4.50 for one and $12 for three. The chorizo is crispy on the outside, which was so great texturally and unlike other chorizo tacos I've had before. The pastor was tender as well. Both were flavorful and a great value.
Small hole in the wall that has excellent tacos. Soft tortilla shells with really excellent meats. The beef cheek taco was extremely good, well balanced with flavors and textures
food was bomb! got the al pastor burrito and some guac and chips, they were not stingy on the guac or the sauces, good spot 👍🏼
Solid neighborhood joint - def my go to for a quick bite to eat - would recommend
The food is delicious , Very friendly employees , I compare the with food with other restaurants around the neighborhood , some restaurants the portions are very small , but at Dahlia the portios are great and the pricez too , and the food it's excellent , I give them a score of 5 stats ♡ , thank you .
Blown away. Im from Cali so I know good Mexican food. Chicken tinga burrito is amazing.
Great Mexican food for not a lot of money. Usual order is the al pastor cemita and I get like one more new thing to try. Pollo quesadilla is also great.
Love this spot - one of our go-tos in the neighborhood. The vegetarian burrito great. And don’t sleep on the rice pudding. Friendly service, generous portions, and consistently delicious food. Highly recommend!
I can’t speak on any other menu items, but the burritos here are outstanding, especially considering the $10 price point. Always fresh, well-balanced, and flavorful. Staff are kind and food is fast for the quality.
Best burritos and tacos ever. Super friendly staff.
Best mexican food I’ve had in the area. Portions are big in the right way, with delicious side sauces and a cheerful demeanor. Their Mole de Olla soup is delicious and their Tex Burrito always hits. Locale is small but clean and vibrant, more of a take out spot, but also good for a quick dine in. Glad to see such an amazing spot providing great affordable food for their community.
The food was so fresh and delicious. Nothing was greasy or old-tasting, and the flavors were fantastic. Very clean and warm area to eat in if you don't want to take it out. Horchata was very tasty, too. Guy taking our order was very nice, and the music being played was great. Love this spot!
Dahlia is easily the best Mexican restaurant in Bushwick. Their food is unbelievably delicious, insanely consistent and perfectly priced. What puts them over the top is the great customer service. I order from here at least once a week and I’ve never had a bad experience. This review was long overdue on my part.. thank you for making the best burrito I’ve ever had!
favorite burrito in Bushwick by far. Simple, high quality, and consistent.
everything here is amazing, can't go wrong. flavors are divine. they have food on too good to go
Delicious Food:) I feel really comfortable when l visit Mi Bella Dama Restaurant
Foods amazing I love the Pollo sopa even the small portions are very good and the quality of foods consist even with me ordering on Doordash..
I had a great experience with this amazing cozy home like shop. Eat , enjoy hooka. dance 💃 ♥️ enjoy the live music if you are there on the days of the Dj.. Drink 🍸. The vibes are definitely giving relaxation with a warm, vibrant feel. The food is on point. I can't wait to eat the rest of my food. Next time, because I will definitely be back, I will sample the dessert 🍨 . The prices are reasonable. Hooka is lit. I mean, what do you have to lose? Check it out yourself. I may just see you there until then. Enjoy the segments below. 😇❤️💎💯🙏. Thank you for reading.
Dahlia is a welcome new-ish spot to park adjacent neighborhood. We had to get the burritos cause that’s all everyone was talking about. Now will this be the best burrito you’ve ever had well.. probably not but that’s no reason to look over it. If you need the burrito scratch itched Dahlia WILL DELIVER. I personally thought the steak was the better choice over the chicken but hey that’s me. You will need to get both the red & green sauce to elevated the burrito experience. Very happy to have this spot near the park.
Decent tacos & quesadilla. However the shells are bit thick for my taste, and would prefer more flavor.
Love the vibes at this place. I had been craving Dominican food, so we decided to try it out. We ordered combo #5 (pernil). OMG, the food tasted so good! The beans were delicious! I also ordered extra flan, and it was perfectly soft and sweet. I don't speak any Spanish, but the server was so kind and patient with me, lol. I will definitely be back soon!
I ordered 2 mangu tres golpe and home fries. Food was already prepared. So they just served it on plates. It wasn't too hot. Everything was lukewarm. The place is dark and not very pretty. It's more like an old bar.
The calamari portion is so smallll, but aside from that their mondongo was great, their chicharron de Pollo is flavorful and crunch, and their rice and beans was also great. The service was good. I was here many years ago for a salsa night with friends, it's a small humble spot, but it was one of the most wholesome nights I had that year.
Great place to eat. Staff is friendly and helpful. They play Spanish hit music so if that's not your scene then this isn't for you. However, if you are into that scene, you will love this place. There is no cover at the door as well. Also, Friday, Sat, & Sun are the best days. Saturday is the most crowded, however the flavor of Sunday's karaoke adds alot of fun to you're weekend mix. ✊👊✌👌
I live in the area and decided to checkout a local spot, instead of getting pizza. I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the chicken tinga pico tacos and a side of chips with salsa. The portion of meat was great, but the chicken was dry. Adding the green sauce helped a bit but there was only but so much of it compared to the amount of chicken. The chips were well prepared, very crunchy. The salsa was fresh which was nice, but flavorless. Definitely in need of some salt and garlic. Not sure if I’d return, this place is not for someone wanting authentic Mexican food, more for the gringos. At 16 dollars, I find it over priced for the quality of food received.
So everything depends on your race.Whether or not you'll get the soda with the lunch special or the price all together. My experience with the older woman at the counter.
Food was mediocre and cold. My husband had to return the food ordered to have it reheated. If you are into food business, especially hot plates, then make sure food that comes out and serve are hot. Not as cold as ice. That is a recipe for stomach upset.
My first time eating their food wasnt too bad. The second time i bought rice with BBQ chicken in the morning for lunch break. As I was about to warm my food up, I notice a high MOLDY SCENT I even ask about 2 other people to confirm and they all said the same thing.. The rice they serve me was SPOILED, remind you it was serve from a big pan from that morning. I went back for a refund, and they gave it back right away.. I will never return back!
Worst decision ever to order from this restaurant. Making notes so I don’t do it again. Got the entire order wrong. And called me like the issue was mine. Stay away for the sanity of ur hungry soul
Don't know why they ask how I want my steak if they are just gonna cook it extra well done. The shrimp is really rubbery. And the salad was soggy, and they aint even add any dressing or anything. The baked potatoes were extra burt and they didn't add no butter, no salt, nothing. Save your money and go anywhere else. This place is no good
Ate here soany times in the past. Food always was great but I think they fell off. Bought a 2 meals with pork shoulder and it got me and my sister sick with a stomach virus food smelled funny. They need to change food out don't let it sit all day. Caught stomach virus still sick. Be careful what you order
Food is great but had a very bad experience with my card being charged for more than $1000.00 and they did not want to refund my money back, when my order was only $11.00. I called several times and ask for the manager and was told that she was not there. So I had to involve the bank in order to get my refund back
Ordered chicken they sent me beef stew. Ordered everything separate they sent it together. Asked for stew chicken with Moro de guandules they sent White rice with beef stew separate . Be advised this was after the young lady repeated everything back to me correctly. She still got it wrong. So I called them to complain. They say sorry, that they will send me the correct orders and to send the other one back. The delivery guy finally arrives after 6 phone calls to them asking where was my food. Guess what they sent the wrong order again. This time stuff I did not even ordered. Horrible service and the food was horrible also. Not seasoned well and the rice was hard . No beans just gravy. Never again will I order from this restaurant. And I advise others find a better place.Good luck with your order 🤬
Service was terrible. These woman look like they dont want to work. I ordered a shrimp salad and it wasnt to my tasting and the waiter came back and told me she had some and it was good to her. I was so confused when she said that because my taste isn't her taste. Then I ordered a large soup to go and they gave me the wrong one. All they did was stare at me . So as I walk out I noticed it was rated C . If I noticed before I would have never went it. They gave us no ice glasses for thw soda. My experience wasn great at all. When dealing wit people you should be pleasant and wanting to serve.
Worse experience ever. They bring 1 serving at a time. There's no condiments at all on tables. U need to call for everything. They give u the food and forget the utensils. Then they give u the food, & no napkins. Totally garbage. Never going there again.
Horrid, I don't write reviews, but I feel like I should detail the experience my pregnant wife received. My pregnant wife, who is 30 weeks made a order for a full rotisserie chicken, with rice and beans. She didn't mind the wait which was a LONG wait, took literally about an 1 hour and a half. That's not the only thing that was wrong with their service. Which to my surprise my girl didn't even complain(Because she is one to light a fire under anybody's ass) about. After the long wait, and I mean extremely long, they only brought the rice and beans. THEY FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART THE CHICKEN!!!!!!! So she decided to call the place not even to fight, just to find out what happened to the chicken, and we here the lady in the background complaining literally saying "NO that girl is liar I gave everything to the delivery boy she's lying", so now my girl is a bit frustrated because why is this lady talking to her coworker like that about us, so the lady gets on the phone and changed her tone, and my girl not looking to fight says listen I'm 30 week's pregnant, we waited an hour and half for the order, can you please just send the chicken I am hungry and just care about what I paid for, so the lady says okay I will send it again. Now we wait another 1 hour, total time probably spent was about 3 1/2 hrs now, and nothing. So we decide to call back again, and this lady is screaming again saying this time it's our fault that he was here, and he brought the chicken, and we didn't answer? Why wouldn't we answer? I mean we did wait almost 3 hrs now, and we answered originally for the rice and beans? I mean why wouldn't we answer? We explain to her that she's playing some games or something because one we didn't have no missed call's from the delivery boy, and two we didn't have any missed calls from the restaurant. At the end when the chicken finally arrived we send the delivery boy back with the chicken and get a refund for that amount, but the experience was so horrible I had to take the time and write this long review. Oh P.S The Delivery boy was great, he even told us that she didn't give him the chicken. What we think happened is she forgot to give him the chicken so instead decided to yell make a scene and blame the delivery boy, at the end of the day we don't care about who's fault it is we just wanted our damn chicken. Moral of the story this place sucks, and if they mess up they're just going to point fingers, and not resolve the issue at hand. The lady's name who made this whole problem is Claribel. Other then her we don't have any issue's up until someone contacts us about this issue I'll leave the negative review till further notice.
