This us one of my favorite spots .
I had a chicken bento box today for lunch, and it was the best one I had.
I love the California sushi and the temperature shrimp roll i love the food
Nice quiet takeout spot. Food was good.
The experience was amazing. The food was delicious 😋
HAD TO WAIT FOR MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR NO FAULT OF THEIR'S SO NEXT TIME IT'S BETTER TO CALL IN YOUR ORDER HALF AN HOUR BEFORE
It's ok for a quick bite
The food is delicious. Great portions and great prices. Definitely worth it. One of my fave places to eat from
Very friendly service. Flavorful food thats to die for!! This is my first time eating here and im definitely coming back ❤❤❤🍤🍣
Always fresh and perfectly rolled
Cool, quick spot for lunch or dinner. Great prices, enough menú options for your choosing. Table seating and window seating. Friendly service.
Shrimp and chicken teriyaki is my favorite but everything is tasty. Portion is huge def feeds two adults!
That's my favorite sushi place in New York. Great value comp of services and price.
I love the new renovations done to the place, and my food is always as I like it
I really love and recommend this cafe! Very tasty food!
Good food, decent prices, excellent service.
Would have liked more mixed veg in my teriyaki, but for the price and quality you can't get much better than this place.
Everything is great!!! I go there at least 7x's a month!!!
Food is amazing and the staff is very pleasant.
The cleanest place I’ve ever eaten. Awesome customer service too.
Great food, great service and super friendly staff! The food is really delicious and is worth its price in my opinion! As a suggestion, they should really start delivering, it would help with tight schedules! Still as always the food is worth it!
Amazing food! People who disagree have no taste in quality and fresh food! It’s our new favorite spot to take out. The miso soup is amazing. The sushi is fresh and delicious! Love this place!
The Food here is absolutely Amazing!! It tatses so Good and they give you a lot of Food for the prices you pay! Definitely worth a Visit! 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great beef and shrimp teriyaki, also chicken and shrimp teriyaki and if you like extra teriyaki sauce just tell them and they will add more of that sweet goodness. Prices are pretty good for fast takeout style food. Never tried there sushi or other items on the menu.
Their teriyaki chicken is delicious and it’s very large portions for the price. Would recommend upgrading to the noodles
Friendly, fast, great food! Love this place and eat here all the time!
Pros - Good quality food - Clean & neat dining room - NYC A Grade - Reasonable prices Cons - Some people may not satisfy portion of dishes
Teriyaki (comes with rice and veggies) is amazing. I keep going back — everything is always really fresh and tasty, and it's affordable. Good place!
The food is great and worth the money. Went there 3 times and the people are very polite. Thought I had a problem with the bill when my father and daughter went in today and Alex took time out to talk with me and even text me a copy of the bill. I truly appreciate the awesome service and the over all communication taken by Alex to resolve my inquiry about the bill when he was completely correct about the transaction. Some restaurants may have been annoyed and hurried to get me off the phone, but he was always polite, helpful and respectful. Best costumer service ever!
1 of the many local spots I go to for lunch. Their 3 roll combo is always a great choice and so are their chicken teriyaki rice bowls 🫡. Good food and the staff is always friendly.
I love this place. It’s a nice cheap place to get some good sushi. They also have affordable combos/bento boxes. I feel like some may judge them a little harshly since it’s more affordable sushi, but sushi was created as a cheap street food!!!
I usually eat lunch at this resturant the service is really great the atmosphere is fun there's a really nice seating where you can sit and eat .The food is excellent the chefs do a really great job there's alot to choose from the menu well put together i love it i recommend it.
Food is good great portion
The food was way better than I hoped for. And I already had high hopes. Very flavorful and fresh.
The best sushi that I ate. I love the ninja roll 🍣
Very clean place, food is good quality and delicious
Sushi is my favorite meal and Ninja Japan outdid themselves. Absolutely delicious, close to Kings Theatre, and for a great price.
Very delicious food ,price is not that high!👍
the food was delicious, I have been here yesterday so gooddddddddd
Sushi was fresh and delicious. Chicken teriyaki was okay and a lot of food. Definitely recommend.
Very clean restaurant, effecient service, and budget friendly. My favorite takeout spot. Highly recommend salmon avocado roll and salmon sashimi.
Great sushi — come in, order, grab and go. Always tasty, and the deep-fried rolls are just amazing. The staff? Absolute legends. Super friendly every time. If I knew their birthdays, I’d be bringing gifts. Always high quality and welcoming. Best spot for an easy, delicious dinner.
The service and the food was great. Will definitely go again. I had the fried calamari roll, eel avocado roll and shrimp tempura. I love cooked sushi but wanted to try something raw for the fun of it. I got the spicy tuna roll and its amazing. Not too spicy, doesnt smell raw/uncooked. Nice presentation
Excellent takeout with unbeatable prices. We order from here at least once a week. The sushi rolls are standard fare, tasty but don’t expect anything fancy - and the fish tastes fresh. We love the salmon roll and shrimp tempura roll. They have some great side / appetizer options too, we love the vegetable gyoza, spring rolls, and grilled chicken salad.
Good price, good food 👌
Good food wish it was a little cheaper but quality stuff
The chicken teriyaki was excellent. I look forward to going back and trying different things.
Perfectly serviceable grab-and-go sushi at a reasonable price.
Good price pretty decent food wish I could have water without having to pay
The food was good but they juice and move it too much food sometimes
It's very clean. And good service as well. This is my first time here and first time to try them.
It was good but the beef was chewy besides that my dish wasn't to bad. I had order the shrimp and beef teriyaki with mushrooms with a side of shrimp dumpling. The shrimp dumpling was very delicious it came with a side of teriyaki source. I was in and out they cook fast no long wait. Plus it was a nice portion of food to full you up.
I order a party tray of veggie (Mango and Cucumber) for my daughter class for feast lunch brunch, and i had lots of compliments and it was good well done and it finished very fast it was all gone. This my third time ordering party trays never fails, and we are customers we love the fried calamari sushi rolls.
Needed a quick and cheap dinner, and this place fit the bill. I got the 3 rolls for $13 combo, and the quality was good for the price! Shrimp tempura and spicy tuna rolls were good, the avocado in the salmon avocado roll was a little too unripe/firm, but not terrible.
Extremely good food, a little pricey for the neighborhood, however, underpriced for the quality. The staff is very accommodating in regards to the menu items. They are flexible with it comes to Bento Boxes and combination plates. The food is a reward to your pallet. Did to the generous portions, one must come with an appitite, a wheel barrel and a friend to push it upon meal completion. I'm an extremely satisfied customer.
I think they change their cooks, food taste good sometimes.
The quality of your sushi depends on how miserable the sushi chefs look while preparing it.
3 stars because compared to other sushi places prices are lower. The sushi isn’t bad but is not good either. If you want a good sushi this isn’t the place to go but if you just want sushi and don’t want to spend to much this is the place!
Sweet potato roll was inedible. Avocado roll and gyoza were fine though. Cheap prices
The King Kong without avocado is bussing👌. Today is 9.28.24 and i went there to get my favorite the king Kong. But I also add the rock shrimp and when I say they was missing with that . I mean they were missing. The shrimp were the over breaded frozen shrimp. This was the worst display of rock shrimp I have ever seen. If I wanted school food, I would have went back to school if I wanted American people food, I wouldn't have went to American please. But this was supposed to be, I'm just shooting out there, a Japanese place, and for you to give me or feed me frozen food over battered with a small piece of shrimp inside of these Disrespectful
Love their chicken teriyaki here very tasty! However, they have been making mistakes on our last 2 times we ordered. Ordered (in person) a combo, chicken and beef with extra chicken and they only gave me chicken. Ordered at Doordash And they left out one huge order. We contacted doordash and they said that the restaurant is close. (It was 4pm ish Sunday) we got refunded but we just wanted our food.
Love Japanese Food and thier Culture but to be honest this food was good for my second try. This is a honest review an customer service was nice, they give you the food with welcoming intentions. Lastly, if you haven't had a roll or teriyaki chicken try it out for a change. My suggestion to you is too try the Chicken teriyaki with shrimp teriyaki nice meal to enjoy💯 Honestly explore your horizon on your food choice's and see what your taste buds say😂💯lol.
Okay experience. Like most reviews I’ve read from here, they’re filling if you’re in the area for work or in a rush. Not the most effort put in for flavor or anything. Sushi is eh, but teriyaki is very good. Miso soup is just ok. Sushi I ordered avocado roll and california roll. The avocado is unexpectedly mushy, not in a good way. Shrimp tempura roll is ok, not too much to be expected. Fried calamari roll was interesting, mostly batter and a lil of the calamari came in, good crunch...interesting try. But do get the teriyaki tho, that’s good 10/10.
Food was good but staff were rude
Nice folks, good variety of inexpensive options. Low quality ingredients and lack of prep care made this meal reminiscent of a mall food court.
Another spot I had hope for until I got home. I was pleased with the look of the food I purchased but the taste was another thing. I purchased a volcano roll, spicy tuna roll and vegetable gyoza. The best tasting item was the gyoza because the both rolls I got was supposed to be spicy and neither one was spicy and didn't taste all that good.
Great food!! Unfortunately sometimes the service isn’t that great. The person at the cashier was being rude and micromanaged everything I was doing. Followed me out the store when I was trying to grab beverages that were paid for. I am dissatisfied with that aspect. I am a returning customer and I will no longer be supporting this business. Improve your customer service!
Clean interior, good price. However, staff did not seem enthusiastic whatsoever. Their sushi rolls were adequate, rice was dry on sushi. (HowEVER I will say I did not order their 'special rolls', perhaps those are better quality). We also ordered chicken / beef teriyaki, and resembled little of japanese teriyaki. It literally tasted like they stir fried frozen meat and mixed it with soy sauce. I'm really trying not to knit pick here but there was not much else good to talk about this place. Giving it sn additional star because the place was clean. If you're considering this place because you're nearby and have no where to go, sure why not. That's why we went. I'd rather travel a little further for some good authentic japanese food.
Sushi is good, gave them 3 stars for their manners. They have none, act like they have the only sushi spot in the city. The woman in the front doesn't even say hello or thank you.
This place looks very clean. You can watch the people prepare your food. I just didn't like the food.
They try to save money in all the wrong places, like giving you less wasabi !! Ninja Teriyaki is a cheap place to grab a bite. Do not expect authentic Japanese food, there ain’t no Japanese people here. The place is clean * the staff are nice * and the prices are great. This is a budget teriyaki place, their Bento boxes are decent. There is no sushi here, only rolls. Don’t expect amazing tasting rolls, but for the PRICE they are very good. The beef teriyaki is tough as leather, you’ll be chewing for ever till your jaws break. Their best items on their menu, and bang for the buck are - the seaweed salad for $4 - potstickers or Gyoza - 3 rolls for $12 ( insane value) - bento boxes Inconsistent quality though , sometimes the food taste OK sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes the portions are decent sometimes they are not. But it’s a very busy place, and that’s a sign.
The places you try when you’re tired, hungry, cold and on your way home. I read the reviews believing that I’d found a gem in the middle of Flatbush, I was wrong. I ordered sushi, 3 rolls for $13 for takeout. It was bland and mediocre with a messy presentation. I order two cooked rolls and one raw (by mistake). The cooked rolls were tasteless. I didn’t finish The raw roll as I was scared of possibly getting food sickness since they aren’t a traditional sushi restaurant. I would not reorder any sushi dishes, the teriyaki looked decent tho. I’m very thankful I didn’t get sick. I would not recommend for experienced sushi lovers/eaters.
Actually, this restaurant, the one that is served by a lady with glasses, has a terrible attitude to serve customers, the truck votes for you, I don't understand
Worst experience ever!!! extremely rude and food is disgusting!!!!!! Stay far away from this place.
I was eating there just last week and I found a rat tail in my food I was disgusted I told my server what I found in my food he laugh and said you lucky that all that was in there I was so upset i do not recommend this place to anybody. And plus they said that my mother stink I wish I could leave no star
Horrible...they screwed up my order and were very rude and unapologetic. Basically told me to get lost when I call. Major language barrier too.
THE ABSOLUTE MOST DANGEROUS PLACE TO EAT IN FLATBUSH. DO NOT CONSUME THEIR FOOD FROM THEIR DIRTY AND DISGUSTING KITCHEN. I have never had worse food poisoning in my life. I decided to try this place after recommendations from my neighbors so I gave it a shot. I had chicken teriyaki and a shrimp tempura roll. This was Tuesday night. Wednesday, I started feeling queezy and having stomach issues. It's been like that for 3 days now. There is no other explanation. And THEN, when I went back in person today to tell them their food made me sick, this girl threw up EVERYWHERE outside of the establishment after just eating their food. If that's not a sign of confirmation, I don't know what is.
It used to be good, but my last 3 visits progressively got worse. My Salmon Bento Box was awful. The fish juice turned my California roll into rice soup. When I told them, the woman at the counter told me it must have been something I did to cause it. I decided that would be my last visit.
Guys if you gonna play around with prices every couple of weeks at least update your online menu
Chicken teriyaki with cockroaches on the side. First two times I ordered were decent so the third time I ordered a double teriyaki with noodles. Right as I opened the container cockroaches were crawling!!! I took photos but it's not letting me attach them in the review. I will never buy anything here again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
