Ninth Street Espresso Brooklyn Reviews
This coffee shop has an amazing atmosphere. Whether you seat outside or upstairs the place invites to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. As for food, I only had the croissant and it was okay but nothing special. Yet, the service and the great americano and cappuccino are def worth it!!
A warehouse with a bar out back as well. Nice seating. Good place to come to work. Just off Union St. 8.0 - coffee is solid and up to standard. Get the flat white though. I tried their cortado and the beans they have on offer are just not up to standard to carry themselves with so little milk.
Great place to work and a good selection of drink and pastry options. The music also gave a nice atmosphere to the place. My only complaint is the table I sat at was sticky, but overall, it was a nice place to sit down at for a few hours.
Interesting hideaway. Very unassuming entrance. There is a restaurant and brewery on the ground floor and the cafe up the stairs. The cafe also sells the beer. Re: coffee, their lattes are wonderful. Going back!!! Went back. Still enjoyed it. 👍🏽👍🏽
A beautiful location the staff is extremely friendly. I had a coffee by Matias. It tasted wonderful. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. It’s connected to a brewery.
Wonderful lattes. The menu's short (coffee, cold brew, espresso, espresso + milk) which makes the decision easy. Baristas aren't the friendliest, but their skill at coffee makes up for it. Two bar stools - it's definitely a to go place. Pastries available, but you have to ask for them.
Like the interior style. Great coffee and croissants!
The espresso here is excellent and very high quality.
I simply love Ninth street Espresso. Super coffee, friendly staff, comfortable low key environment. Good baked goods.
Cool chill atmosphere, friendly stuff, fun mugs and good coffee. My kind of coffee shop.
Nice relaxed atmosphere with a hip barista and pretty good coffee.

Nice relaxed atmosphere with a hip barista and pretty good coffee.
- Barista serving at the time appears to be Japanese and showed a lot of care for the drinks and to all of the customers. Very friendly and patient. - Observed a nice moment where the barista asked if a lady wanted it to go and she said yes. However she went to take a sip and apologized but said it was so good. The barista was very understanding and happy. - I've been trying flat whites at many coffee shops and this has been the best one I've had by far. - Based on the moment and how good the flat white tasted, I anticipate to stop by again in the future to try their other drinks.
Really great cold brew. The staff is very friendly. Love the cute little bar with plants hanging overhead and looks over the street.
Dope place. It’s got a tv to watch sports and a place for you to work. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the music they played today. There was chanting music at one point. I put my head phones on at that point because it wasn’t my jam and I didn’t expect that in a cafe.

Apparently if you come early you get two benefits: the limited supply of pastries and the booth seating reserved for the brewery later in the day. I did not get either, but I did get a plain coffee for $2.50 with soy milk since they don’t have almond. Coffee was good, music was great and there is a ton of space to work where they typically host live music at night. But the nest spot is near the window to daydream while you work.
Very good coffee, nice place, some cool merch available. Service ok.

Ninth Street is located inside a larger collective space, so it can be difficult to find for a first timer (enter through the doors and take the stairs to the right!). I unfortunately found the atmosphere, service, and cold brew underwhelming, as much as I wanted to Love it!
Really cute place to grab coffee with someone - as they have a good amount of seating upstairs and outside (when it’s nice). You can also bring a book or laptop if you want. You may end up waiting a few minutes for your coffee in the morning rush since they usually only have one barista - but definitely get the shortbread cookie to go with - you won’t be disappointed.

Espresso with milk was basically all milk. And the milk tasted like it had gone off. Extremely disappointing, don't understand how people can like this. Unwelcoming atmosphere as well, though not the fault of the employees.
