Very cute window service restaurant!! There is no seating, it’s take out only. A friend and I split a medium portion of chicken coxinhas and a guaraná, the perfect combination and it really hit the spot as a Brazilian. Great service. Matheus, behind the counter was so nice. I can’t wait to come back.

Growing up with this, my godmother & sister always treated me to these amazing treats, I first found them a few years ago at the smorgasburg so I was so happy to see something I grew up eating. The empanadas were so crunchy and flavorful, we got half cheese and half spinach coxinha, and OfCourse the churros!

Delicious, fresh Coxinhas. The spinach had an amazing cheese pull, the pic doesn’t do it justice! I had spinach and chicken, and I will be back to try all the other flavors. The staff was very friendly and was happy to answer all my questions and give recommendations for my first time there. Also I don’t know what the green sauce was but it was amazing😋

I tried this place at the Bryant Park Winter Village. I had the chicken coxinha, it was so good! It brought a sauce that took the dish to another level. Now that I’ve seen there are multiple locations here in Brooklyn definitely visiting. The starts for atmosphere were because the winter village was crowded insanely! I’ve tried this dish before from an authentic Brazilian home, and the ones I tried here lived up to it. You should give it a try!

Lighter low filled empanadas. You don’t mind they’re barely filled because they are airy and light and the outer shell is sooooo delicious, full of flavor! Had these at a Christmas market at Columbia Circle

Delicious coxinhas. Id never tried coxinhas before, I tried these ones at Smorgasburg, Williamsburg. And loved them. I got the cheese ones and spinach ones. They were served super quick, they were piping hot, the cheese ones were super gooey and cheesey and delicious. The spinach ones I couldn't really taste the spinach, they tasted just the same as the cheese ones IMO but still very delicious. The sauce as well. Yum. I think it's the sauce these are served with that really sets these apart. Big drool. Lastly and most importantly. I have a really sensitive stomach to fried food. And I could tell these were made fresh because they did not trigger my stomach ache at all :)

How amazing is to find a very cozy Brazilian restaurant in Brooklyn, the staff is very friendly. We spent some time to enjoy Saturday afternoon eating feijoada, and try few other treats like coixinha, cheese breads and pastel. If you want to taste something different this is the place!! 🥘🍠🍮

Petisco has some delicious food, but above all else is the excellent service. I had the pleasure of being attended by Pedro and when I say this man did everything in his power to make sure I had an excellent and amazing experience I mean it. He was very attentive to my wants, and helped me choose some of my new favorite items in the menu. I already enjoyed their food, but with the type of service I received I don't hesitate ordering again and again. I hope whoever goes has the pleasure of being served by Pedro.

I felt good energy in this restaurant from the moment I walked in. The staff's care makes this place stand out. The place sits in a prime spot. Every dish I've tried has been excellent. Every aspect of our meal was pleasurable.

The restaurant manages to excel at everything important. The experience at Petisco Brazuca | Bed-Stuy was worth every penny! Each flavor melted away while I attempted to memorize it. Impressive service conduct. I return to this place often.

I really enjoyed the cheese pastel cheese coxinha. They are the authentic and tasty pastries. Just a little disappointed about brigadeiro, which is my favorite treat. I’ve tried the tradicional, coconut and both texture were a kind of hard. Brigadeiro usually has a softy texture. Also did not like the fact that everything must be to go since you don’t have acess to the store 🤷🏻‍♀️Order through the window. Since we are not at the pandemic it make no sense. I recommend the pastries.

A little pricey for what it is, but delicious. The cheese bread is killer and the park is nearby, which is nice since there’s no seating.

Guy behind the counter was more eager to tell me I needed to get the cheese croquettes (apparently they were out of stock of every single other option on a Thursday at 2pm) then listening to my order. The actual croquettes seemed like they were barely warmed up enough. The cheese inside was still in cubes which makes it obvious these are frozen and just thrown in the oven when ordered. Not crunchy enough, not doughy enough, flavor isn't a standout either. Just a mid experience all around.

Ill give it 1 star because the cheese in the empanada was very good. So let's get this review started. I ordered the large empanada which fooled me. These things are for babies they are so small. Fine. Maybe the taste will be out of those world. Ehhh. Nothing special about these empanada. They are $4 each it would tale 4 to fill you up so just imagine paying $16.32 for 4 toddler size empanada. Now if your not worried about money then sure these are a good..not great food to eat. It's not bad tasting food it's just not $4 tasty. They should be 2 for $5. Oh and there is absolutely no SEATING!

Message to the owner: We’ve been loyal customers of Petisco Brazuca since you had only one location and have ordered for many parties over the years. Sadly, your customer service has gone completely downhill. Recently, we tried placing an order through your website but ran into constant issues — we couldn’t add a credit card no matter what we tried. We attempted multiple laptops and phones with no success. When we called, the person who claimed to be the manager insisted the website was working fine, even after we sent a screenshot showing it clearly wasn’t. We asked if we could place the order over the phone instead, and he said yes — but only with a $30 extra charge! Then he claimed he couldn’t match the website price “because of marketing,” which made absolutely no sense. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to be treated this way after years of supporting your business. You clearly don’t value loyal customers anymore. Fix your website or don’t have it at all.

Placed an order for 3 cheese empanadas. There was a couple behind us but no line. As we were putting the phone number in for the receipt, the man behind the counter changed the screen so we couldn’t get the receipt. He said 5 min for the empanadas. We proceeded to wait 16 min for the empanadas and when he opened the window, he was looking for that couple who ordered AFTER us. He then asked if we ordered… I said yes. Anyway we finally get the empanadas , refused to explain anything except “it’s Saturday we are very busy”. We get all the way home and the empanadas are beef…
