Rosa's Pizza Brooklyn Reviews
One of the best slices I’ve ever had The cheese, the sauce, the olive oil everything is on the spot This is the pizza to go Don’t go to the overrated spot the serve you dry pizza with a little bit of cheese This is the spot to go!!!
Rosa's is a delicious and friendly pizza shop. Equally good for a slice in, to-go or a pie delivery (very fast). Good window seating to relax a minute and watch the theater of the neighborhood. Ice cold glass sodas.
I've normally eaten from here when I work in Williamsburg. The pizza taste so authentic and enjoyable from the first bite. I wish they delivered to my neighborhood but anytime I work in Williamsburg, I'm always getting a slice or 2 from here.
The spinach ricotta pinwheel has a respectable amount of spinach. Slices never disappoint. Came back from a 14 day trip abroad and this was our first order coming back to NYC jonesing for a great slice.
Stumbled upon this spot four years ago in Brooklyn after a comedy show and it was so amazing that we came back after all this time on our most recent trip to New York. Just as great as I remembered! Vodka Mozarella and margarita were both killer—get a side of vodka sauce to dip your slice in if you’re feeling saucy. Note: limited seating inside, so be prepared if it’s cold to eat outside or take it to go!
Easy, fast, friendly service, cute ambience, like an old school pizza parlor in the city. Bonus points for playing Al Green 💯 extra bonus points for having vegan options. Not the best in the city, but definitely a good solid option if you’re in a pinch and don’t want to wait an hour at the line at L’industrie.
The best pizza in the area. Open late and hustling. At midnight, they will have 6 to 10 people working behind that counter making fresh pies. I've been at least 40 times, Never had a bad slice.
Funny how serendipity works…a flat bike tire landed me right by Rosa’s, a pizzeria I’d only been to once before but remembered fondly. This time, over a Vodka slice and a Buffalo Chicken slice (with a little help from the busy but friendly crew behind the counter), I finally put my finger on it: the pizza here is just plain delicious. Fresh cheese, generous toppings, and slices that practically melt in your mouth. Definitely not the paper-thin New York style…these slices fill you up, and then some. Thanks Rosa’s… already looking forward to the next visit. 💗
The Sicilian slice was great, not too doughy, and it was perfectly crispy, even the bottom. It was very oily but with pepperoni slices that’s to be expected. The space is pretty small so I would recommend takeout but they do have some seats inside if you want to eat in. Service was quick, I think it took about 5 min from me ordering to me getting my slice. A Sicilian was $5 cash which I feel like is the standard. I’d recommend paying in cash because they do offer a cash discount.
The pizza is absolutely amazing—whether you're grabbing a slice or a whole pie, you're always getting top-quality pizza. The crust is perfect, the toppings are fresh, and the flavors are unbeatable. The service is quick, and the staff is always friendly, making each visit a pleasure. Grandma pizza + pepperoni <3
5 stars all the way!!!*****🤩 One of my rare high recommendation for any eatery!🤩😋😎🥰 Took me back to my youth with the delicious sicilian pizza slice I ordered. It's just awesome! The food was just great. The service and staff were so pleasant. You can dine in or take out. They're easy to find being on the corner, but parking is limited as normal in NY. Right on Metropolitan Ave. *A must-have if you really enjoy great sicilian and other variety of pizzas! Bring your crew down or the whole family for a delicious fantastico experience at Rosa's!!! ENJOY***🥰👍🏽🤩
Sigh.. I don’t know what happened to this place but any other slice on fresh pond is better than Rosa’s at this point. It’s really sad; y’all used to be a dynasty.. what happened?? The only saving grace here is the upside down square, besides that everything has been straight up trash for the last two years. SAD! Also stop forcing us to watch FOX news while we dine at your pizzeria… read the room.
Pizzas and everything are standard and okay. Don't buy their drinks as they are expired and its hit or miss if your drink will be carbonated and good/safe for digestion. Check the dates especially here before purchase. The team working was dry and straight to the point with ordering which is standard for pizzeria but ive also been to pizzerias that are warm and inviting. However today around 7:05 - 7:15 one of their employees who was leaving said bye to their team and for some reason needed to go back to counter and talk or goof off with his fellow staff. Im not mad at that but he didn't say excuse me and shoved me to get back to his team members after leaving. No apologies or anything either. The shoving made me uncomfortable and its just rude. With the rude behavuor and along with the sodas not being checked I cant recommend this place at all. Please teach your team courtesy and manners as they are reflection of you and please check your dates as well. That is just food safety standards.
Listed price for a regular slice on the board is 3.50, went to pay and was asked for 3.80. I was paying cash. Not a big difference, but I find it to be a dishonest business practice. If a price is posted it should be honored until it is changed on the board as it is deceptive. Decent pizza, but I will not be returning until the real prices are posted.
Until today I had only heard about horrible pizza delivery experience and I’m not going to lie, I thought those experiences were exaggerations. We ordered 2 pies from Rosa’s via DoorDash & the boxes arrived wet and damped and the ingredients/toppings had slid off mostly to one side of each of the pies. One could easily say “well that’s the deliverers fault” but if an establishment takes pride in their name, reputation and product this would not be an issue. On top of that the taste was blah & it’s easy to tell that the ingredients and the way that these pies were made was all subpar. I wouldn’t have even fed this to my dog. YUCK!! 🤮
