Sunset bagels is conveniently located off the 36th st D/N/R train so i will often stop here before heading into work. All the employees are super nice and always get my order right. I love their scallion tofu cream cheese (i’m a sucker for a bagel but have recently become lactose-free). it’s a great on-the-go choice for breakfast but the cafe itself is also very nice to sit in.

My first time here i thought it wasn’t gonna be fresh because its late but everything was fresh not forgetting the staff is friendly, efficient, and always helpful. Fresh bagels, great coffee, and outstanding service every time. Highly recommend!

Sunset bagels is such a gem! They have FRESH everything!!!!!from bagels to paninis and of course salads!!! What drew me into sunset bagels was definitely the design they have going on, and of course the perfect photo op walls for Instagram! The style of the place fits perfectly with the industry city vibe. It’s super convenient for grabbing a bite on the go when needing to hop on the train, legit steps away from the train station! The service is phenomenal here! The cashier was so pleasant and friendly to my son and the man making my salad was so quick and efficient.... oh yeah and I can’t forget to mention they have a $7 lunch special for half salads .. such a steal!

So I ordered a Quesadilla and I loved it. It only took 3 minutes to get here. This place deserves a 5 star

Got Quesadilla, bagel with scallion cream cheese, chocolate shake and a coffee. Things are made to order and delicious! Never before have I been so surprised to eat a bagel and a quesadilla. The staff was nice too.

I stopped in on a Saturday morning. Got a bacon, egg and cheese on an egg bagel that was quite good. Still was hungry, so I got a toasted blueberry bagel with cream cheese. Had time to burn and took my time since I didn't have to be in the City for a little while. No hassle. Food came out timely. Service people were friendly. Would help if their bagels and other selections were labelled.

Great coffee and super friendly staff. I always enjoy coming here. But the cup lids tend to leak a little while walking. Switching to a more secure lid would make the experience perfect. Just a small suggestion!

This bagel store is 24 hours. The bagels are amazing. That cold cuts are amazing. The employees are amazing. It’s always spotless. I have to tell you I got out of my way to come here and it’s a pleasure.. They have real hashbrowns to put on your sandwich. They serve you with a smile. They have sit down if you choose I have never had a problem here…. Close to this place for an amazing sandwich

Ordered over the phone. Excellent service and delivery was right on time. Coffee, bagels, fruit salad, muffins and coffee cakes. All the fixings to go with it. I even called back to thank them for the great service. Booking them for my next breakfast party.

My husband had a craving for a bagel- fresh bagels. Came here and was not disappointed. Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and butter with some other specifications. They followed them exactly and my bagel was perfect. Could of used a bit more cream cheese but they probably did me a favor by not giving me more. They have pastries - cakes, cheese cake and cannolis. The cannolis weee good however the small ones only had filling in the ends and not in the middle - which I have never experienced in my decades of eating cannolis. Ordered a plain bagel and that was Laos very good. They have espresso, coffee, smoothies, and lattes. I had a black coffee which was very good- a nice robust, full bodied medium roast. I was surprised it was a good as it was. Would definitely recommend. They are usually open 24 hours. This is a good spot for a late night bite after a local night out.

Very great food make to order , how ever I think they can make the store a bit more presentable. They have a lot of boxes in front like it’s a storage facility and not not restaurant

The failure here was ownership and systems. The restaurant showed as open, accepted orders, then didn’t open on time. Grubhub couldn’t reach the store, the order couldn’t be fulfilled, and I was told I’d have to wait days for a refund, for an order that was never accepted or made. This is exactly the kind of situation where a comped meal or immediate resolution should be standard. Instead, the burden was pushed onto the customer and the staff member, neither of whom caused the issue. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they’re handled. Here, there was no contingency, no empowerment of staff, and no real accountability. I won’t be ordering again, not because of the workers, but because this reflects a deeper customer service and management problem.

Honestly my time with sunset bagels at least at this location is complete. I order from them a lot for many years and the past few years they have been messing things up like forgetting sauces or forgetting items. I let it slide and never post reviews because things happen. Today, 6 months pregnant I was craving a bagel and ordered one. I received said bagel with LONG BLACK HAIRS STICKING OUT. it seems to be engulfed in the cream cheese. I call the store calmly ask for a new order and to change the cream cheese and the girl tells me no. Comical. I don't care about the steps on seamless just give me a different cream cheese .. it isn' that deep. Lucky I was going to even accept something else from you. She tells me to change the cream cheese I need to place a new order. Insanity. The customer service is insane. I am officially done with them.
