Short answer: definitely worth a visit! Longer answer: we popped in for an afternoon cocktail and my first impression of the Bearded Lady was the wonderful color scheme that felt tropical, perhaps something from southern Florida. The vibe required me to order a rum based drink, but my girlfriend had a glass of excellent red wine and I had to honor my Nordic roots and try their “Dill or no dill” which was an aquavit based cocktail.. you don’t really see too many of those in the US so naturally I had to try it. I’ll say this, having grown up on the Swedish west coast, I’ve had my fair share of aquavit variations, but this cocktail was so incredibly good it’s the only thing I’m choosing to focus this review on. That cocktail in itself is well worth the visit! Other than that, the staff was super friendly, it was a clean place, their cocktails were strong and delicious. Well worth a visit!

This is such a cute place with great drinks! It’s definitely not for a luncheon as there are minimal snacks available but the drinks are great!! And the staff is very nice. I will be coming back for evening drinks!

The local against which all others are judged. Friendly bartenders, great music, and a nice selection of eats. Have a Hemingway Daiquiri, order some beer cheese, and watch the sun set from a sidewalk table. And if I could have their hot dog everyday, I would.

Solid selection of drinks to choose from and the bar altogether has a good vibe. Definitely stop by here during the evening for a good time. The pretzel was good as a snack and everything came out in a timely fashion. Can’t wait to go back and try out a few more options!

Booked for a large group post NYC marathon and they reserved a space for us. Great food, drinks and staff was super friendly! They even made this sign which was sweet. I edited to add some other names. They did a better job. 🥰

Gotta love a good bar like Bearded lady! Great seats outside to watch the traffics drive by. Funny little pool table in the back and some jazzy cocktails up front. Not a bad spot to stop for a drink while doing some much needed laundry around the Corner! Had all the papers you could want!

First off, Bearded Lady is truly an after work spot especially for the lucky few who get out of work at 3:00pm -4:00pm. The drinks are strong, just as I like it. The food menu is limited--what they do have is good enough in taste and presentation. We had nachos with black beans and some other stuff maybe white cheddar in a tangy sauce--it was fine, it balanced out the strength of the liquor. The bartender was just chill--she was not friendly but not rude either. My wife felt that she was not engaging--or more accurately she did not engage us. I agree. It's an okay spot. Might not go back anytime soon though.

Good service & decent drinks. Drinks and food came out fast. There were a couple employees who were working as bartenders/servers but also playing on the pool table with customers which was a little odd. The drinks were decent— the menu is creative and the drinks are strong, but were pretty one-note in terms of flavor. The grilled cheese was delicious— the addition of pickles was fun.

Low lights, very grey, not accessible. Limited seating, recommended to book in advance. Food and drinks not tasty. But a lot of cool young professionals

Nice venue to chill and unwind a bit 👍 Good ambiance with comfortable seating. The bar is situated in the middle, making it easy to order drinks. The drinks are done ✅ nicely and not watered down. Actually got a nice buzz after the first drink. Could use a single large ice cube to enhance the experience. Outdoor seating is a plus and so is the pool table. The red wine was a letdown and not many options…
