The Holler Brooklyn Reviews
Walked in based on a referral from my work partner. Had and enjoyed the Octane. Tasty, strong and hits. Took me two days to finish. Octane is sooooo yummy that while drinking the beverage you don’t really realize how strong it is until the beverage is done. I recommend this joint. Staff were friendly and inviting. Spot had a good crowd, not tooo crazy and the vibe was calm. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Perfect local queer / queer friendly bar! This place saw us through COVID with their amazing back garden, picnic tables spaced perfectly, and heat lamps. The drinks are always amazing. They have plenty of beers on tap (and cider), they have killer frozen drinks, and a fully stocked bar for any other mixed drinks you heart desires. The bar tenders are THE friendliest bartenders I’ve experienced in all of NYC and it makes such a huge difference! The Holler started indoor seating which is great for cool nights, but the garden is where it’s at when it’s warm!
This place is kinda perfect. Nice beers, delicious cocktails, sick boozy frozen bois, two restrooms, a makeout nook, slick backyard, cozy booths, friendly and extremely passionate Sunday bartender, and good music & decor/vibe. I can't wait to go back!
Amazing Bar... the frozen drinks are really good!!! On Monday’s they have a drag queen bingo that is so fun!!! Definitely I’ll be back for sure...
Great neighborhood queer bar! We love going to drag bingo ❤️

With specialty seasonal drinks, a large enough drink selection, and now reopened indoor seating, the Holler continues to be a pleasant experience. If you're interested, they sell games at the bar as well, but I'd encourage you to bring a deck of cards yourself if you're aiming to play something while drinking.
Pinball, frozen drinks, a jukebox and a cozy backyard - this place has it all. The decor is fun without being themey or obnoxious. I always make sure to come in early so I can snag the exclusive private booth hidden in the wall. Come visit and tip well!
Great bartenders that will remember you even if it’s been months since you’ve walked through the door. Great music, quickly mixed delicious drinks, positive atmosphere. Even when it’s busy the bartenders always remember the order you walked up to the bar and gives everyone equal amount of time 💜
Loves it. Great lil spot with good music and vibes. Outdoor area. Awesome frozen drinks. The menage trois is a HIT. Gonna be a summer fav of mine!!!!
Super friendly staff and patrons, great vibes all around 🥰 karaoke the 1st Wednesday of every month is always so fun!!
absolutely loved The Holler. Great drinks, great environment, a great time truly.
Everyone was super nice, great lively crowd, even for a hot Sunday afternoon. Neighborhood is a bit spotty so absolutely vital to have a great spot like this not suck. The spiked lemonade seemed to be super popular, but I wasn't drinking so can't say for myself. Backyard area was cute too.
Our favorite hangout by far! Lovely bar, great back yard, drag bingo, trivia and queer markets, and the best bartenders in Brooklyn. Love it!
Fantastic neighborhood bar. Cute backyard with 6 big picnic tables. Inside is nice, several booths and full bar seating, corner with a pinball machine. Check their Instagram page for events, they do weekly trivia, bingo, karaoke, etc. Staff is the best, friendly, fast and make you want to stay longer!
Nice size with a comfortable amount of Customers. Juke box kept the vibes up. I had a rum Runner x blood orange daiquiri. I also had a “Sit down Karen” it has a honey-clove (something) it was a great drink!! Its a savory drink and pleasing to the pallet The staff is very warm. I’m a laughing person and they are the perfect fit for my personality and the drinks provided definitely were above par. Thank you madame 7/2-7/3. Thank you sir Alex. Quick service with a smile. Great vibes Felt like I came to the bar with you.

This is a great local bar that has a lot of character and plenty of drinks to offer. They have a lot of good cocktails such as a good skinny Margarita. Has a great backyard and it seems like a very open and safe space for everyone to go for fun. The bartenders were nice and offered suggestions. Very nice backyard with plenty of space and even a smoking area, but does blow around in the non smoking area. It would be 5 stars if it wasn't for people smoking in the backyard.
Great bar with a selection of board games available and Juke box. We went on a Saturday late afternoon when it was quiet, but it picked up a lot around 7pm. Nice cocktails and reasonable prices.

One of my favorite nearby bars! Really great prices ($8 for a pretty big frozen drink) and I love their NOLA theme. Fantastic bartender, big comfy booths, games, and a big patio. What more could you want?
