Yummy's Brooklyn Reviews
Friend and I dined here last night. Everything was great from the service to the food &drinks. We had the catfish, mac and cheese, collard greens, chicken tacos, and rum punch. The food was absolutely delicious! My fav was the mac and cheese. Our waitress was super attentive all night and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. There were also djs there and the music was really good. Will definitely be returning.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff, the food is satisfactory and is served at a timely manner. Will return.
They had a few newer servers sign on for a busy night Everyone has to start somewhere. The service will only get better because the leadership is vested, hands on, and intentionally seeking success. GREAT EVENT.
The place was really nice and the music was fire

Nice vibe, clean & friendly. Waitress was attentive & manager extended happy hour for me & my friend. Drinks hit the spot, Catfish on point, yams were yummy 😋 empanadas were good. Wings were a bit too dried out for me. Would definitely go back 👍🏼
Great food! Friendly staff. There for a comedy show which was hilarious. Definitely will return.
The food was delicious!! I was at the Grand Opening I had Shrimp and Grits…. I’m telling you I never had grits so good and the Mimosa’s was a hit! I would definitely recommend this restaurant the music was on point it was a nice vibe I really enjoyed myself and I will back for Brunch on Sunday
Amazing! Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Our waitress was wonderful. Sorry I can't remember her name but , she wears glasses. Lol. Very elegant 👌 not loud or rowdy. Very grown up mature spot.
Took my mom to a surprise dinner food, service , ambience was a 10/10 ! If I knew the food was gonna be so good I would’ve took a pic I did the salmon and my mom did the steak . Olay and the chef came to check on drinks and food. The desserts are also 10/10 served warm depending on what you get. Olay was amazing and the reason this will be our new spot when I come to visit. Thank you so much for making our day spectacular
I love this restaurant the food was phenomenal. I the drinks was amazing and right amount of rum. I am definitely coming back to this restaurant.
I'm Loving Yummys Restaurant I pray they will continue to gain much success.
Dope vibe, down to earth bartenders, great drinks and tasty eats.

I was at YUMMY'S for brunch. They had buy one entrée get one free. I ordered the chicken 🐔 AND WAFFLES 🧇. then I ordered catfish, eggs with a side of cheesy grits ,which was my free entrée. I also ordered the unlimited mimosas. I must say that I was not disappointed. I was truly satisfied with my meal😋 I will definitely come back for brunch 😋
Food was pretty decent but took a while to come out. The service was top tier though, everyone was very friendly. Didn’t care for the drinks

This is a Black Owned spot that has changed names/ownership, now for the third time. I patronized it when it was called SoulBk, one of four black establishments on Nostrand Ave and Prospect Pl. SoulBk was an African diaspora space with fun, music, food, and a cool space for community. Then it became Nostrand Social, a music-forward creole restaurant and supper club. It was while I was hanging out one evening celebrating my brother's, did I learn about the basement bar space. Wonderful, spacious, great space to be used, and my wheels were already turning. Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to coordinate something, and here it's changed again. It is now called Yummy's Restaurant. Vased on the photos, they get a crowd for brunch and special gatherings, like with my sorority. Having missed those gatherings, we went on a Tuesday, getting together for my big brothers birthday. Average crowd, about 30 people tops, Knicks game on the telly and one scattered bartender. While the young lady seemed sweet, she was highly disorganized and blamed the volume of the music on her inability to hear and attend to her customers well. I sat at the bar, and she failed to acknowledge us for a best 15 mins. We were not the only ones. We finally had to call her attention to us to place our order. Not a good start. However, when friends of hers showed up to drink and watch the game, she was immediately attentive and made their cocktails, never once asking any of us about additional drinks. I wish I could simply say she was overwhelmed, having the owner/matrie'd assist w food orders as there were no servers, but she just had poor, selective management skills. I will give it a try once more as my brothers like the spot, and the food (not scallops - over done) was cool, but. . . . . I really hope this visit us a fluke.

The service is awful. You wait forever for a drink and the bartender doesn't even acknowledge you. You get your food with plastic utensils. No napkins. What kind of place is this?
Came here with my friends for Sunday brunch . it was the worst experience. Food was terrible , bartender didn’t know how to make a sangria (she added moscato although the menu say Pinot) then get mad cause we sent it back took over a hour to get our drinks to the point that we cancelled it , was charged for stuff we never got, fruit salad was old or sitting out to long to the point the apple was brown just overall terrible experience.
The food I had during the comedy show. Wasn't that great. It wasn't yummy The Mac and cheese was watery and the rice. Smell spoiled. The only thing that was goodWas the catfish. $20 it coat. It wasn't worth it. I was truly disappointed that my food wasn't good. the catfish eas good. Also my friend, She didn't like her food as well.
