Kabab and Curry Buffalo Reviews
Was not expecting very much from a buffet, but the food was very good! Not the widest variety, but everything I tried tasted fantastic. Will definitely come back again.
It is absolutely insane how AMAZING this restaurant is. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s been a long time since I was this excited to give a 5 star review. Went for the buffet that they have mon-wed and it’s just amazing food. They serve you fresh bread made on the spot. Everything in general was amazing, mostly the Chicken Makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala and the bread. Just enough spices, which helps not overwhelm you with the strong flavors. Also the service is great, the lady working on Tuesday noon is super nice.
One of top 3 indian restaurants that I’ve visited. Very delicious chicken curry. True shahi paneer with original taste, the one that we find in north India. I’m from Brampton & almost visited every indian restaurant. This shahi paneer is definitely no.1 I’ve ever tasted. Chicken curry touched my soul. Quantity is sufficient too. Easily 4 people can eat with their standard size dish. Garlic naan was ok not great as compared to other garlic naan that I’ve tried, but no complaints. Server was polite fast, kind & helpful boy. Amazing customer service which is little hard to find at Indian restaurants. Shahi Paneer 10/10 Chicken Curry 9.5/10
The best Indian in Buffalo. We don’t live close but it’s well worth the drive out every time. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Service is always prompt and friendly. The butter chicken is out of this world. Creamy, rich, and very flavorful. The biryani is flavorful and packs a punch of heat. Again, by far my favorite spot for Indian. Overall would highly recommend. 4.8/5 -BJ
Love this Indian restaurant!! Their food was absolutely delicious, the staff was super nice and friendly, the restaurant was clean. I tried their vegetable Curry and it was so delicious! Definitely spicy but so worth it. This restaurant will be a place my partner and I will go to often.
If your are in buffalo , this is a good place to go for Pakistani food. They have a nice lunch buffet and a special Wednesday night buffet. Chicken biryani is really good but hats off to their masala chai. ( just please serve it more hot rather then warm ) . Seating is very cozy. Staff is friendly and helpful
Fantastic. Amazing. Delicious. The best Indian food around. We cannot wait to come back for another meal. The owners are wonderful and attentive. The food is fresh and flavorful. We came on a Saturday afternoon and ordered more than we could handle. There is a buffet for those that want to try it all. If you sign up for the newsletter, you will get coupons!
We went early on memorial day holiday, so it was not that busy. The owner was super friendly and always looking to make us comfortable, which we really liked. We opted for lunch buffet. There were around 10-12 dishes along with salad bar. You can use the salad bar to make your own version of Indian chaat. The food was really good and tasty. The veg food was more delicious than the non veg ones. I really liked the buffet although I think they could have made the non-veg dishes a little better. But, the veg items really compensated this little shortcoming. I really recommend this restaurant for Indian food lovers.
1st time eating Indian food. Was good but some of it was cold. 1 bin was all sauce and no chicken in the buffet. Was a pretty good experience and would go again.
Excellent spot in Williamsville to have Indian cuisine. The menu is a bit small, but that is OK because the food makes up for it. My only concern is they should have a bigger portions for the price that you were paying but other than that, the food tastes delicious enough to remain at that price. Plating is excellent and appeals to the senses.
Good food. Place could have been a little cleaner but not gross or anything. Food was not hot (spicy) at all but the flavors were great. I'm used to samosa's being crazy hot so was a little disappointed but not way. Service was friendly, genuine, and good but our server disappeared halfway into the meal and someone else finished with us. Not sure what that was about. I got the Manhatten made with tamarind chutney (forgot the name). I had him make it with bourbon instead of the Kettle One Vodka. That was really unusual and very sweet. Overall, worth the money.
Seems like the quality of the food and service declined over the last several months. The menus have prices marked with the pen. They don’t present you the itemized check, just bringing out the credit card terminal. The service is very slow and inattentive. Food tastes alright, but used to be much better.
Not the best experience. Let's start with drinks first..expired Corona and habanero margarita just awful Appetizers got the eggplant very flavorful but mostly onion and barely any eggplant. Entrees chicken vindaloo.boring..very bland..not spicy and asked for medium. Chicken very tough..potatoes barely done..chicken korma..not a fan..to me gross but my friend thought it was good. Probably ate at 50 different places in my 53 years because I love Indian but good god definitely not good. Service awful ..manager/owner so apologetic, accommodating. Definitely will not be back. India star, Ruching, India gate and Tandoori hut will continue to be my go places in this area.
It seems that there are different owners. The food isn't as good as it used to be. The price is too high. $20 for a lunch buffet? But the worst part is the atmosphere. We were having the buffet and there was a couple with two little kids. At first they were quiet. Then they let the little girl start running around and stomping her feet back and forth right by our table. The waitress did nothing. Our meal was ruined. This isn't the first time this has happened where kids have been allowed to run wild. How about putting kids with parents in a different room so people can enjoy their meals?
I was told by Spices of India (a completely different restaurant) to pick up my online order here, even though I placed the order through their own website and confirmation page. Kebab & Curry is not listed anywhere as the pickup location, and I had no idea they were connected. It was a 15-minute drive in the opposite direction, and I was already late because of the mix-up. When I arrived, the host acted irritated and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging the issue or offering any type of apology or solution, he told me that “no one else has ever had a problem” and there was nothing he could do. When I calmly suggested they pause online ordering until the issue was fixed so other customers didn’t experience the same thing, he told me to just “take the food and leave.” He pushed the food toward me, and it was already cold. No apology, no offer of refund, no customer service at all. I understand that restaurants have staffing issues and emergencies — but communication is essential. A quick phone call, a cancelled order, or even a polite explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, both locations handled the situation poorly. Unfortunately, these two restaurants have now lost me as a customer, and I would advise future customers to call before ordering online to confirm where pickup will be and that they are actually serving food.
