Kind of late leaving this review. But as a new texan, single anti-social person that doesn't go out too much. I have to say this place makes you feel right at home. The bartenders guys and girls are curteous, the type of people that go are very chill and laidback, and the drinks are oddly affordable you don't wake up in the morning like oh lord I spent way too much. Huge applause to you guys and how yall operate.

Delicious drinks and great customer service! This place is my favorite neighborhood bar. I love the staff. They are all attentive. I enjoy the live music as well! I look forward to my next visit to Lefty’s, which will be soon!

Hard to get drinks from the bar as it is always crowded. Could use a waitress or two. But pretty nice atmosphere & great cover band playing. Oh and the darts games need to be better maintained. They only had broken darts to offer to use, which in themselves were useless. I asked for more tips for them & waited over 2 hours never got them. Maybe better luck next time.

Best place! Sancho, Becca and Condrad always rock the bar! The others do too! (I don't know their names!) The service is great! Their remodel looks amazing and it's always a good time! Best local watering hole on the northeast side for sure!

Great little spot to unwind with friends. Drinks were pretty good and reasonably priced. They had jello shots available and we had a few.

The only thing I could say bad is that they could use a little more help. Everything is good about this place but sometimes the bartenders get a little overwhelmed. Very fun atmosphere and good crowd, clean restroom, clean environment. It might be nice to have some bar type food available, but there are a couple great hole in the wall restaurants in the same strip mall. On second thought, parking sucks here! My only real complaint is the parking.

Lefty’s is very much a dive bar, but in the best way possible. The vibe is laid-back, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the bartenders keep things friendly without trying too hard. Don’t expect anything fancy It’s got that worn-in, slightly rough-around-the-edges feel, but that’s kind of the charm. It’s a good spot if you just want a cold beer, a casual hangout, and no pretension. Definitely not upscale, but solid for what it is. Also, they don’t have food, but I recommend ordering from Ali‘s Pizza next door.

Lefty’s is a really cool place to hang out, and I can’t believe I haven’t discovered it sooner. I don’t believe they have any food items, but they do have a full bar and a couple of dozen awesome beers on tap. They have an awesome outdoor patio, and inside, they have a couple of pool tables and a few leather couches and chairs. The place is usually busy, but the bartenders really seem to keep up with the pace of things and make sure all of the customers are well tended to. This is THE place to hang out at on a lazy weekend afternoon. Thanks Lefty’s! Just keep on doing what you’re doing! Parking can be a pain sometimes though...

I never thought I’d leave a review like this for what used to be my favorite bar but here we are. I have been a regular at this bar for 5 years and have come to love the staff including (former staff) and patrons and even consider them family. The entire staff is the ONLY reason why I continue to return. It is the type of bar that looks out for their customers and for each other. They know your name and will even have your drinks ready for you when they see you coming in the door. They work to provide a safe, relaxed yet fun environment. It truly was the best neighborhood bar I had ever experienced. Unfortunately, this bar has fallen victim to poor decision making from its owners/managers for the sake of “progress”. Not all change is good and so far it has done nothing but hurt this bar on so many levels: 1.)The remodeling recently completed was a colossal waste of time and money. It’s obvious that the goal was for aesthetics and not function. Nothing has improved: less room on the patio, the bathroom stall doors easily/constantly lose the locks, leaky sinks, no low top seating options..essentially an inefficient use of space in general. 2.) Noticeable price increases(presumably to fund poorly executed remodeling) In an already tough economy..significant price increases will only deter business. Simple logic. 3.) sudden changes in personnel- last night I found out that the BEST bartender Lefty’s had (Conrad) was “released”…presumably for a fresh new face..as there was a new girl working. HUGE mistake. What the owners of Lefty’s is communicating to their loyal patrons is that we don’t matter. They are more interested in attracting new business at the cost of losing consistent business. There is nothing wrong with wanting to attain new business but HOW you achieve that can send the wrong message. Do some aggressive marketing..come up with some specials that would be enticing..do a giveaway/incentive. Get creative. To the owners/managers who have lost sight of what Lefty’s has become for so many of us. Change does not guarantee progress…but it will guarantee an opportunity to learn. Conrad deserved better than what he was handed..and if you’re wise you’d recognize that and try to salvage that if you can. The entire staff deserves better than what you are showing them. Your loyal patrons deserve better. Perhaps you should start listening to your staff. They know what this bar needs better than you.
