It was nice! I had the mushroom Swiss w/ sweet potato fries. My husband had the patty melt w/ fries. It was a good meal but my husband's patty melt lacked flavor.

We got the patty melt. Beef is awesome. And the hand crafted fries. They were good but it was like someone had left the top off the salt shaker. I know people like salt but gees. I normally tell where I go to watch the salt or no salt on my fries. So many places have a tendency to over salt everything. .

First time at Mooyah. Wanted a quick burger for lunch. The restaurant is inviting when you walk in. It was relatively clean for the middle of lunch. When ordering the cashier was either new and a little confused, but we got everything figured out. I then waited for my order which was between 12-15 minutes. Thought that was long, but it was busy so not a big deal. No interaction when your name/number is called, just pick it up. The food was really good. Maybe the top 20% of burgers I've tried. It was hot and juicy and mild flavor. The fries were nice and hot but nothing fancy. Good taste, nice salt, but not wow. The shake was also very good. I got the mint chocolate chip shake. They must have mixed it a little too long, all the chips ended up at the bottom. The price was higher than the big-name chains but cheaper than a 5 Guys. A little more than I would have liked to pay. Overall, I'd go back if I were craving a burger and a shake.

We wanted to try a new place and Mooyah looked good. My boyfriend got the cheddar bacon bbq burger which was ok. Nothing exciting about it or sets it apart from other burgers. I got the patty melt which was pretty good. Just wish it was sandwiched between two buttered Texas toast rather than flipped burger buns since they got really soggy. And I wish there was less of the creamy mustard sauce. Other than that, it was yummy. We also got the shareable hand cut fries which was a good amount for the price and seasoned with some sort of powder. Not sure if it was onion powder or sour cream seasoning. I would’ve just preferred salt. We ended out meal with some milkshakes which were really good. He got the strawberry and I got the Oreo which had plenty of Oreo chunks at the bottom that I had to scoop out after I drank all the shake. Overall a pretty good meal. Not sure I’d say they were the best burgers in DFW as their sign says, but it wasn’t bad.

I got a “Best Quesonario” burger - with a black bean patty replacement - as a combo with sweet potato fries and a medium drink. There wasn’t a simple way to make the substitution. They had to use the “build your own burger” option. I’m glad that the customizable option exists, as I’m a firm believer in customizable food. However it did cost a couple dollars more that way than it should have. The drink was typical fountain drink fare, though the ice dispenser on the machine was broken. This wasn’t a big deal to me as the drinks come out cool enough already. When we got our food, my burger and my partner’s burgers were mixed up, being on different platters from our correct fries (they got regular fries). Getting that sorted was simple enough, but it was another quirk in the experience. The sweet potato fries were delicious, though there were a few regular fries, mixed in, as well. Again, this was not something I personally minded as I like variety. The burger was quite tasty. They cooked the black bean patty just right, and I liked the flavor mix of the jalapeños and queso sauce on it, mixed with the onion strings they did not have enough mayo for my taste, but it wasn’t a big deal because there was so much queso , I particularly liked the bun. It was soft and tasty, and I am a sucker for square shaped buns. The ambience of the room was fine, and fairly standard with nothing really to set it apart. The seating was good with plenty of walks space, and the furnishings felt nice and solid. Ultimately, I enjoy the facilities and the food more than your typical fast food joint, though it is a far cry from the best burger joint I’ve been in. It’s a solid choice if you are in the area and looking for a burger.

Staff keeps me coming back! Zach and his menu knowledge! Today I had a special custom burger he recommended. Wow such fun! Alas, I could not give 5 stars due to the condition of the dining area. Floors are greasy and slippery. The drink dispensers are broken and filthy, they need a major cleaning around all the spigots(inside and out) the Sprite is so dirty it is pouring out the logo box instead of the spigot. Flies flies flies everywhere. I'm pretty sure a picnic would have less insects. Please fix this place. I want to come back. But I cannot justify if still in this condition. Health and safety issues. Unfortunately, we waited 25 mins for the burger. Cheese not even melted. Sadness...

I used to come here all the time back in 2017. The seasonings are now gone and there is a wall that closes off the kitchen. It felt very different. It used to be loud and busy. Extra greasy and heavily seasoned…. The burgers used to be so delicious and drip everywhere…. I was very disappointed this trip. The customer service was great! By my food was completely bland and my fries had zero flavor. Not worth the price if it’s going to be like that.

This will be our last visit at this location. Ordering is overly complicated by new or inexperienced employee (there were plenty of employees that could have assisted her). I ordered 4 combos and received 4 drink cups. When we got our burgers, one was without fries. I informed the gentleman that we ordered 4 combos to which he rudely replied, “you ordered 3 and got 3 fries,” and angrily walked off. The other cook gave me fries. I did not have a copy of my receipt. My son needed a straw. There were no straw or lids stocked. He asked for one and was pointed to another counter where he was told (there are plenty there). They were large shake straws. It served the purpose but a regular straw would have been nice. While the food was good, the service was horrible and its the last visit.

Yeah, not sure what the big hype was about this spot. Dropped around $28 for a burger, fries, and an Oreo shake. The burger was overcooked, super greasy, and had no juice left in the patties. Fries were solid — fresh and nicely salted. Oreo shake was good too. Might give it another try... in the far, far future."

Don't waste your time with this location things are never right and staff is rude with no respect for your time. Called in an order for employees 20 minutes out only to be told by Sue that she forgot to put the order in then had to wait 15 minutes. This is the third time I have had issues with this employee and her attitude is always unacceptable. She should be fired.

This location is absolutely despicable and RACIST! I came in attempting to order and 3 employees one behind the counter, and two in the dining area just stared at me! I asked to be served and they just looked at me and didn’t speak. A white women walked in, went to the restroom then came back to get in line and they all jumped in to serve her! I’m writing this from the parking lot, I took a picture and the man in the dining room with the mooyah shirt waved at me as if it was funny! DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!

10/31/25 @ 7:20pm. There was a girl on break but everyone else just watched us come in and never came to the register to take our order. Didn’t even say hi. Looked at us and continued talking amongst themselves. Never coming back. Terrible customer service.

I spent $14 on 1 single meal, $6.29 for the burger and another $6.29 for the fry’s and drink (separate) and you barley get any fry’s for $7 is ridiculous in its own, but I ordered onion strings on my burger, when I got to my table I realized there was NO ONION STRINGS! So I took it back up there and the lady says “oh yes he’s making more now “ ok so why did you give me my food without them and then not even say “ we are out of onion strings but he’s making more if you’d like to wait “ nope she just let me take off with food as if it was correct. So I wait and by the time it actually got done my food was really COLD! Definitely not coming back here again. Ever!!
