Orchard Valley Coffee Campbell Reviews
Best cafe to get work done. Very good coffee and quiche.
Very peaceful and relaxing. They don't tell you to leave if you want to sit around for a while. Alot of the workers here are friendly and nice. I like this place.
I came here on a trip from Missouri and this coffee shop has been the go to spot for me in the morning. I found it on accident when on a walk. The food here is great, they even offer to warm up a pastry, and theres always people hanging out. Its cool and hip and they are efficient!
One of the best places to enjoy an evening with an aromatic great quality coffee ☕ in a fantastic place! For years this is my top favorite coffee shop in the bay area. It feels like home ❤️
The service was amazing! Despite it being a small cafe, the hostess was sweet and welcoming and cmae to check up on our order. The coffee was strong and tasty (not watered down like most american coffee). The havana cappuccino was sweet but not overly so, the flavor was rich and just right. The sandwich was well prepared (getting it in croissant is a must) and the artichoke quiche was delicious as well. The atmosphere was calming and welcoming
Lots of available seating in the cafe with free wifi and bathroom. Their drinks were pretty good, and I was able to get quite a bit of work done here. My only complaint is that there are a few flies that are flying about -- which can get annoying at times -- but other than that, it's a nice cafe right in the middle of downtown Campbell.
Cannot recommend their club sandwich enough! Affordable and easy to grab for on the go. Many of their drinks are also delicious. Seating can be a bit challenging during their busy hours in the morning but there’s usually a few spots available even during their rushes!
The place is humongous for a cafe yet it was packed. Located in one of the beautiful corners in a block of beautiful downtown Campbell. They have breads, cakes and pastries then they also have hot breakfast items! The girl at the cashier/barista was super helpful and seemed like she really cared for the customers. She acknowledged me when I arrived and followed up on me to say my drink was at the counter while I was waiting for the restroom.
Loved the service! Specially the bagel breakfast delight! also, the location is very convenient!
This was a nice and pleasant pitstop to relax and have a latte. The facilities were neat, clean and nothing noticed that would make me wonder about overall cleanliness. The employees were nice and the service was quick and efficient. I only ordered a latte and despite by being 'ambushed' by the cinnamon shakes which dumps way too much cinnamon out on the first shake... my latte was salvaged by scooping it out with a spoon. If it were not for the cinnamon being in an inappropriate shaker, I would have rated as a 5 star visit. The holes on the shaker top are not an appropriate diameter. I enjoyed my visit, and my time spent sitting outside enjoying the sun. This place has a huge area to sit inside which was surprising. I would return here.
It’s bang in the middle of downtown Campbell, so it’s pretty accessible by public transport as well. The cafe itself is huge and a lot of people were working out of the cafe on a weekday. There is plenty of seating, though. Both inside and outside the cafe, and I was able to get a seat easily. They have free Wi-Fi and water as well as restroom. They have a large selection of pastries as well as other food items to water. I got the ice vanilla latte, which was pretty standard, but it was definitely a little bit more on the expensive side at around nine dollars. I also got the artichoke quiche, which was a little below average. I thought it was not seasoned properly and was a bit dry from being out on the counter for a while. Overall, a decent place to grab some coffee and quick bite.
Popular place for coffee, hanging out with people and using the wifi access. It was after 1pm so the two additional items we ordered were a bit dry. Coffee cake and a mushroom quiche. The cake had nice flavors tho, perhaps a dab of butter would revive it. The quiche needed more egg, it was nice that it was heated. The latte and cappuchino was fine.
We live 8 minutes from Campbell so we often go to that area to have lunch, have coffee and work online or have dinner. We like coffee shops outside of the classic franchises so this is our favorite corner. They have many artisan coffees, in winter we have decaffeinated Caramel Macchiato with warm oat milk and we stay inside, near the fireplace, there is plenty of space with numerous tables. In summer a good cold option is the Frozen Zebra Mocha outside, on the street tables. The staff is very helpful and friendly, specially Liz, Alondra and Fallon, also very cute. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing drink with good wifi.
I ordered a small chai latte and was charged some random amount not posted on the board that aligned most closely with a medium or even large, no idea. When I asked about the pricing I was told “tax” which still didn’t make sense. Would advise double checking - a $4.25 item increases to $6.04 like magic here.
I am writing this review not because I want to leave a bad review but because I see potential in this business and truly would like them to do better. I came here a while back and was very disappointed. The coffee is not great at all. I ordered a cappuccino and the barista clearly had no idea how to froth milk. Instead of a nice silky foam as you get in most modern coffee shops these days, I got way too much foam and the coffee tasted way too milky. The cake I ordered was not great either and way too sweet for my liking. On top of that, everything was served in single-use containers. They only had paper cups even though I dined in and even the cake was served on a paper plate with a plastic fork. Literally trashy. I work in Campbell and a couple of times per week I spend my breaks in a café to enjoy some coffee and maybe some pastries. I would actually love to come to Orchard Valley Coffee because it is very conveniently located and seems like it could have a nice communal atmosphere. But due to my experience I actually drive to another coffee shop which is further away from my work but has better coffee and real cups to drink out of and real plates to eat from. Again, I am just writing this review because I truly wish Orchard Valley Coffee would do better. If they started making better coffee and got some real cups and plates (no paper), I would actually like to come here a couple of times per week.
First time here. Iced matcha had a pineapple taste😑. I had asked for no tomatoes on my sandwich and it was not busy so I’m not sure what the excuse was. I took the tomatoes out so no big deal for me but if I’m paying $25 for a meal I would like it made how I ordered. Other than that, the sandwich was good. The atmosphere was eh. I believe there’s no A.C in there. The air feels mucky. Would not recommend for long study hours or being in here for long periods of time in general.
Came here cause it was close. Is it an amazing coffee shop with delicious drinks, where I’d come out of my way? No. It does the job, you get coffee. The shop is run by 2 teens, so it’s understandable it’s just alright. We all start somewhere! They missed up my order, but instead of offering it to someone for free, they immediately threw it away. Talk about waste… You can tell the owner doesn’t really care about this place, it’s a shame bc it has so much potential and in a great space/neighborhood. Plenty of space but couldn’t find any napkins anywhere and it didn’t seem that clean.
I have tried this cafe multiple times since it is in downtown area. Common issues: No air conditioning and rude staff. I have also observed staff showing racial discrimination towards some customers. Management needs to do some staff training.
