PY Kitchen + Wine Garden Campbell Reviews
We went to the restaurant on Friday evening. We are the only guest there. The server is very friendly and not pushy. We even had free cookies as the dessert. Will come back again.
Wonderful breakfast buffet. Young lady working the area was very nice and helpful while she kept the place super clean. Mostly standard fare but the chicken and peppers were great! It was comped for us so not sure of the price.

Decided to stay here at the DoubleTree for the weekend. They have an amazing restaurant and bar inside the hotel that is so convenient for people who don't want to go out. You can eat and drink right there inside your hotel and just relax. The guy working there his name is Gustavo, he did a fantastic job. And he recommended the tomahawk steak, which I would have to recommend to anybody. It's a $100 steak that's completely worth it!
Went here last night for paint nite. The food was VERY good, the staff was exceptional, but the bartenders were really the best of all. Attentative, friendly, couteous, and helpful, they made me feel like a special customer; welcome and comfortable. I will most definitely return.
Wonderful ambiance and the best chefs in the bay area. ❤️

It was almost closing time. But the server went out of way to take our order and prepare the meal. It was a take out meal. I order Salmon with Rissoto and veggies. I loved the colour combination of the veggies with violet cauliflower crown and baby raddish and carrots. Rissoto was delicious and salmon was cooked properly.

Decidedly mediocre. I'm not sure why there are good reviews. Perhaps they are from people who are from small towns in states like Iowa or Kansas where the quality of the food in suburban hotels is poor and because this is a mediocre one and in California, it seemed a bit more exotic, so they have it a good review. I'm also puzzled why this is called a wine bar. There is a limited offering of brands and the ones on the list can be found on the lower shelves at the local Bevmo. However, the pour was generous, so I'll give them that. I tried the "eggplant lasagna" which was actually eggplant parm. I'm not sure who gave them permission to change the name of an Italian dish that was bastardized by decades of Americans, but hotel chefs have done worse. The cheese seemed like it was from Trader Joe's, which I can't fault them for since Trader Joe's is conveniently around the corner. The vegetables, however, where fresh and only slightly overcooked. The service by the sole bartender was quick and efficient, and I particularly enjoyed the boisterous other customers who seemed like they got out of the house once a year and we're partying it up as much as they could.

For a $27 buffet, it sure felt like the free food you get at the other hotels. It was pretty crappy and not worth the price at all! Highly disappointed and will not waste my money again.
Happy hour food I should’ve known when I was handed the dirty menu. Oh well live and learn.
