Accogliente locale tipico della montagna, la cortesia della famiglia è il valore aggiunto del luogo. Se siete in zona vale certamente una sosta.
A small but charming place, located on the SS36 road leading to the Spluga Pass. A recommended stop for a coffee or a quick snack, with reasonable prices.
It was great! Very nice people, very tasty coffee and croissants
Delicious croissants. Good service. Excellent prices.
A pleasant bar in Campodolcino, on the road to Madesimo and the edge of the Spluga Pass. Friendly, smiling, and courteous owners with fair prices, which are rare adjectives these days.
The interior is entirely made of wood, salvaged from old cabins and tastefully and artfully crafted. Outside, a delightful terrace. Impeccable service. The welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. A must-try.
Excellent piadinas and sandwiches, generous portions, very welcoming and warm atmosphere, in typical mountain style, thanks for the hospitality even with children.
Beautiful terrace, good coffee ☕️, very friendly and discreet service. Very affordable prices, mountain-inspired interior decor. I really enjoyed the Americano coffee served with an espresso on one side and a little hot water to adjust the taste to your liking... I highly recommend it.
A very cute little bar in Campodolcino. A simple place to spend a few quiet moments after a good day skiing in Madesimo. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We had a nice Lugana for €2.50 a glass! We returned with family and friends for another aperitivo and everyone loved it! See you next time.
We stopped by by chance for coffee this morning. I saw a cake and ordered a slice... excellent. In the evening we stopped by for another coffee before heading back. I saw another slice of cake... it called my name... I ordered it. Fantastic!!
Family-run, with plenty of seating both inside and out. Parking is available nearby. The bar is located across from the Sigma supermarket and next to the Via Spluga Museum (Muvis). The appetizers served for aperitif are delicious and plentiful. The owners are very friendly. Finally, e-bikes are available for rent at the bar.
Stopping here for breakfast, a quick snack, or a coffee break has become a tradition. The place is welcoming and quaint, with wood paneling and furnishings inside and wrought iron on the lovely outdoor terrace. The excellent products, the friendly service, and the attention to detail complete a delightful experience.
A café located in the center of town! Beautifully furnished in mountain style. I stopped here for breakfast, and found a good selection of pastries. Quick service and friendly staff. Prices are average for the town.
A quick stop for breakfast allowed me and my small group of four to discover a welcoming café with good service. We were greeted with a pleasant smile by the owners and were able to choose from a decent selection of pastries and a few cakes. The cappuccino was good, and the chocolate pasta, in my case, was pleasant and fresh. The prices were in line with those of other cafés and not marked up as often happens in the winter season, to the detriment of skiers.
Great service, thanks!
Super
Colazione ottima, cappuccino ben fatto e brioche eccellente. Ormai faccio colazione da anni in questo bar quando vado a sciare ed in bici e mi trovo sempre bene.
A nice, no-frills place, conveniently located downtown with well-placed tables outside. The service is adequate, though not the fastest, but polite and helpful. If you're passing through and feeling a bit peckish, it's the perfect spot for a sandwich and a bit of a rest before heading off to other destinations!
Very nice and welcoming bar on the Campodolcino square. A warm atmosphere. Dogs are welcome! A few points for improvement: Rather limited wine glasses, a tasting portion. The sandwich selection is very limited: for a vegetarian, the only option was cheese, not even a slice of lettuce or tomato. Furthermore, a small piece of prosciutto accidentally slipped into the cheese sandwich (the person eating it is vegetarian and pregnant, but luckily she saw it before eating it). They probably focus more on coffee and breakfast. I would still recommend it and will return, maybe not for lunch.
In the center of Campodolcino, along the road to Madesimo, is this mountain-style café. I stopped here for a snack with my family. The hot chocolate is very good, and the prices are reasonable. There's ample outdoor space for customers.
My parents and I have been coming here on summer vacation for almost 30 years, so I know everyone and everything pretty well. This year, I brought my little dog with me. After sharing breakfast with the three of us, I got up and left the café, walking along the sidewalk. The owner had a good idea to complain to my husband about my dog's constant barking. Now, I understand that it might be annoying, but personally, I consider it on par with some of the nagging children sitting near me. You should understand that these days, almost all families have a dog; I personally have five... so you should be more "pet-friendly," in step with the times, and understand that if you're happy for tourists to stay with you and use your goods and services as customers, about 80% of them own a dog. It's a win-win situation. In this case, you've lost one, or rather, five.
