Joaquin was amazing super sweet and handsome definitely coming back food was amazing but Joaquin was better 😘
The new menu is excellent, with an affordable price, great service, lot of parking, nice music, and friendly security.
Great place to have a great time. Music is jamming . I'd highly recommend to anyone that wants to dance, or just hang out.
Great place from the decor to the service. I went on a halloween party and they had everything planned out. All of the staff was in costumes to encourage everyone to be ij a costume they where charging people without costumes which i think its not a bad idea. The waiters gave us very good service every time a bottle came to the table you get your little show off party. I would def coming to El Canton Cantina, yes mexican/latin style party but trust me thats where you want to be
Really great place, flavor was awesome on all 3 dishes - the enchiladas with red sauce were very good and only $10 for 3 enchiladas and beans and rice. Salsa with the chips and salsa was some of the tastiest around. Good spot, should be busier I think, it's high quality.
Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, fun and creative menu, fantastic happy hour, and delicious, fresh food. Can't wait to go back! Who can turn down $1 happy hour margaritas?
We were told at the door it was family-friendly and that they had more than tacos. They had a high chair and they had a few other items. That being said the service was attentive and we liked sitting on the patio. Their Chili Fries were yummy and the Asada tacos were good but it was really bar food. It is really more about what you expect out of the place. People were nice!
The atmosphere was awesome but the music was so loud I could not hear anyone. The chips and salsa tasted amazing. The entrees weren't all that impressive. Hubby and I both loved our drinks, michelada and house margarita, but be prepared to spend some money because it was pricey.
Friendly staff, too f'n loud. Had to scream at people across the table. Not enjoyable time. Meat platter took forever as in 40 minutes and was weak on meat portions. Drinks were weak. Great art work though!
Went in with the family to sit and eat. The menu was small. Or maybe I'm used to bigger menus. The servers were slow. We had ordered things that we didnt receive, and by the time we'd remembered, we didnt even want it because they'd taken so long to even come and check on us. They dont believe in walking the floor.. Over all the food was great. The fajitas were fantastic, 3 tortillas were not enough for the huge amount of food that comes with it..
I really wanted to like this place. Super cute and loved the ambiance. The food was good and spicy. The service was terrible! Took them over 15 minutes to tell us they didn't have the ginger beer for our cocktails. Ordered something else and it was terrible...pure lime juice. The bartender overall seemed uninterested and clearly longed to be somewhere else...Yawned a lot and messed on his phone (and then used unwashed hands to garnish). We won't be back.
I went last weekend thinking it was going to be an amazing night but honestly the service was horrible my waitress took forever to bring our drinks and food which I would say it was from how packed it was but in reality she was just busy taking shots with other customers behind us and forgot about us the food, shrimp pasta was amazing it was delicious but it took around 40min to come out. Not only that but I paid $5 dollars for a water bottle from Lowe’s grocery store which was so surprising I asked for water cups and she said I would still get charged for water cups and that she can no longer take our water bottle back because it was in the system keep in mind they were not even open I really wanted to like the place due to them having live music but the overall experience was no for me.
We stumbled upon this place tonight. Not very impressed. No one was in there which should have been our first clue. The service was super slow. We go two quesadillas, two orders of tacos, (the quesadillas were better than the tacos) two micheladas and a marg and our tab was $85 with tip. Waaaaay over priced for mediocre food. But cute decor/ambiance.
The Elote, chips, rice and beans are great; the Salsa, Asada and everything else weren't . Their salsa was sweet, almost like it had a pickle relish backing kinda sweet. The Asada was made from some kind of sub-par beef, it almost had the flavor of something from a Chinese place and it was stringy like someone was tenderizing a cheap cut improperly. The service though, wow, I've never seen staff wired as backwards as they were. I had to go and order a drink myself from the bar since our server was hopeless, I asked the bartender to have a beer sent to me and he just left it on the counter. The metal piece that the Elote was hung from had visible debris on it like it had been sitting out somewhere unsanitary. Really hoping we don't get sick from this one honestly 🤞🏻 not too confident in their operation. I'm pretty sure this is more for those who want dancing and a local night club, that being said I feel for the other reviewers on here that live in those apartments behind this place as they crank it so loud we couldn't have a conversation for dinner around 5PM and we're outside trying to escape it to begin with on the patio. Only giving this 2 stars for the good Elote, get your act together!
We were seated and given chips and salsa, then we werent spoken to again for over 20 minutes. It wasnt even crowded, just poorly organized. 2 stars because the chip and salsa were pretty good, and we may be back because we live super close. But the service really needs to step up
90$ for 4 shots of Don Julio & the one I took tasted watered down. Also, if you guys are going to charge almost 23$ per shot, have your waitress let the customers know !!! I used to recommend this place but after this NEVER.
BAD SERVICE waiter took over 30 minutes to bring drinks. Never came to ask if everything was okay. She was drinking and dancing with other customers. SERVICE CHARGE OF $30. What service?!?!? We had to get up to the bar to get our drinks cause they were just sitting at the counter. Management needs to do something about the waiters cause they’re either smoking, drinking or dancing while they have freaking customers waiting. SAD TO SAY WE ARE NEVER GOING TO COME BACK.
The service was horrible. The waitress was new so she didn't know her menu at all. She was really nice but needs more training. The food was bad, I ordered nachos with carne asada and the meat was just disgusting. The drinks were bad as well I couldn't even taste the alcohol in the drink not one bit I'm starting to think it didn't have any alchohol at all. I went with a group 8-9 people none of us are going back. Overall horrible experience for sure never going back.
