A very good authentic little restaurant. The menu is extensive, with a heap of good options. On my first visit, I ordered a fish burrito and a beef taco. Both were very good, I was especially fond of the fish burrito, the contrasting flavours, value and size left me wholly impressed. I’ll be back for-sure, just keep in mind seating is at premium here. This place gets busy for a good reason, but the food never takes too long to come.
Being from the Midwest, we don't have anything like this mexican food anywhere. First night in town, I found it by chance and got myself a Cali Burrito. It was the size of my forearm and was amazing, but also I couldn't get out of there without ordering a bran and cheese burrito as well this was amazing as well and practically the same size all amazing. Everything was so good I went back on my 2nd night and got the quesabirra taco platter, these were very good only thing I was missing was the consume but I don't believe this came with that anyway but I can only imagine that it is an amazing broth too.
Great food. Indoor and outdoor patio seating with umbrellas to keep you out of the sun. There is a large parking lot and easy to find parking.
I really enjoyed having lunch there since the staffs are nice and the serving is huge ❤️
Best carnitas I've ever had! This tiny little spot is tucked behind the italian place, and easy to miss. It's my first time ordering today and I got the carnitas plate with a side of chorizo. The carnitas are flavorful, succulent, and have the crispy edges from being pressed against the flat top grill. The chorizo is the perfect consistency and level of heat. the little cut limes are juicy and the guac is smooth and fresh. I'm writing this review mid meal just floored at how much better it is than Mr. Taco. had to give credit where credit is due.

HUUUUUUGGEE portions AMAZING flavors at RIDICULOUS prices! This is our new fave spot! Their meat is seasoned so well, ingredients are so fresh & their salsas are like the thick spicy ones we make at home! I'm bummed I didn't know about them earlier! 1000% recommend this spot!!!! Their specials are awesome too! Enjoy! You'll thank me later!
The food here was very good! I have a son that's very picky about food and he loved this place, if I could get at 6 stars I would. Carnitas burrito in Monster burrito with carne asada and shrimp are the best. Would recommend this place, wish there were more of them.
This place has THE BEST FOOD! They give you a very generous portion . Stuff are very nice , friendly and efficient They are super clean and neat. Thank you for the amazing service and the delicious food
Been going here for past 13 years. I absolutely enjoy this places food! Favorite salsa the avocado 🥑 green one. This place for breakfast has not failed me.
The machaca torta here is awesome!! Not soggy at all, it is delicious and filling. Also they cut in half which helps a lot. Great prices and very quick service. The lady in front is very nice as well.
I’ve come here half a dozen times and the food is always incredible! My order had a small mistake once but they fixed it completely and quickly, I was very happy. The food is made fast and the service is excellent- I’d highly recommend!
Had the mixed and the carne asada burritos for lunch. I can honestly say that this was the best that I have had here in San Diego and I’ve been eating at places here since 1980! The burritos were fresh and hot. The flavors were perfect. And the salsa bar was excellent. This is the place to go for Mexican food, unless of course your in Mexico.
Food is always excellent, and freshly made upon ordering, highly recommend phone call to order lunch as this location is a very busy location from 11:30-1ish and is a popular spot. Bottled refreshments , and fountain drinks are available for purchase. My personal favorite burrito is the Colorado burrito. Seating for dine in and outdoors is limited due to covid restrictions.
This place has my favorite red sauce. Not my favorite burrito spot though, tacos and other items are better here

Great Mexican food. I would recommend anyone to this spot. The machaca burrito is very tasty.
The food is hot and taste alright but… I got 1 burrito and 2 tacos and it came out to about $28 dollars. That’s not okay, 1 taco is $6, that is way overpriced. And on top of that they ask for tip 15%+

Honestly food is good, but lately they have new cashiers and they are very disrespectful and don't pay attention when you're talking to them. Very rude. We've been going every Saturday for the last 3-4 monthd but i feel like we've dealt with enough...(was buying $80-$100 every Saturday)
Me and my coworkers go to this taco shop very often and every time we go they mess up somebody's order. My cousin ordered surf and turf fries and he got a random burrito. I ordered a torta and added beans and got it with no beans but was definitely charged for it. The bad thing is once we get back to our job site is when we notice and its not close so it's not like we can just drive back. We've let it slide a few times but one time we called back and we're told they would make it right and give it to us no charge just to be told they can't give it to us once we got there.Why say one thing and not honor it? Dishonest establishment and mediocre food. Would not recommend unless you wanna pay for something and get whatever they want to give you
