I wish they were nicer even though there food is awesome!!!! There was a little girl there that couldn't afford her drink so she put it away! T I bought it for her wish they had more sympathy on people! They could of went half with me!
Ive been going here my whole life and they make the best lo mein ever. My favorites are shrimp lo mein, eggrolls, and sweet n sour chicken. They are always kind and i dont think they have ever made a mistake with my food.
It’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The portions are outstanding. Easily two meals for a ~$12 order. Would request the Singapore chow mei fun as my last meal on death row. I dream about this place. When you leave the town of Canton and start to venture into the heart of the NoCo, you’re basically in, “Deliverance”, territory. With that being said, it would be wise to take each negative review with a grain of salt. The service is fine. Yeah they don’t smile and scream, “Welcome to Moes!”, but they take your order and give your food. That’s all I really care about. I don’t think I’ve ever dined-in here. Takeout or delivery is the way to go.
I'm astounded by all the racist people in these reviews who mistake neutral interactions with being rude. I've never had a bad experience with these guys. Just because they're not being fake and smiling at you or speak perfect english to thoroughly explain your insufferable needs to know what's in everything, doesnt mean they're not trying their best. These guys work hard in there, in less than favorable conditions, in a town full of bigots. Please, show them kindness, and order the sweet and sour chicken or something lol. You can't go wrong with it.
Some of the best Chinese I have had. Had it delivered to the dorms at SLU while we were visiting. The Singapore-style noodles were amazing. The perfect amount of curry! Delivery was on time!
Great atmosphere. Friendly people, amazing food, willing to make substitutions (within reason) and for those that care Flawless English from staff so far. Would recommend over any other in the area. From Evans Mills to potsdam best fried rice I've had. And the sampler platter (bao bao) was amazing.
I grew up in Canton and have eaten here for something like 25 years. After living in several other states, I came back to visit family recently and found that this is still my favorite Chinese carry out of all time (nothing authentic about this). The North Country has some real gems and this is one of them. In this most recent trek, my family ordered crab Rangoon (amazing), egg rolls, boneless spare ribs, lo mein, chicken wings, and general tso's chicken. It was all delicious.
The food was decent. I will say that the egg rolls were the least favorite that I've had in a while. We chose to eat in but they delivered everything in a paper bag anyways. Not bad for a little college spot. We got three dinners and an appetizer for around $55.
Authentic service (with a grumpy man at the counter) but not so authentic food. I don't blame them for adapting the taste to the local clientele, the lo mein is decent but the sweet and sour pork with rice is beyond my wildest imagination. As in I have no idea what I was eating. You come here for food not for the vibe/decors. It's a bit rundown but it's kind of charming at the same time with some 80s nostalgic feeling.
I was here for a 2 night stop...read reviews before I went in to order , so im a NYC GAL n im sorry but its a NO thank for me ..
The vegetable lomein smelled like a dirty sock and tasted even worse. My one other food was good.
Food tasted fine, I got general tso chicken and spare ribs (boneless). It was fine tasting but it got me sick, cussing me to vomit and writh around in stomach pain. The service was short and rude, not to mention the driver had be come out to his car to get the food from him? It got me violently sick. Do not go here.
Let me start by saying the counter people definitely are very rude . We ordered the chicken with peanut sauce ,sliced roast pork, pan fried wontons with garlic sauce and a beef and broccoli. All dishes came very heavy with sauces it's almost like gravy on everything it's gel sauces n overpower what your eating. You can't taste the food since sauces are so heavy like jell .If there was other options in town this place would be out of business .For anyone that thinks this is good Chinese food You need to go downtown to Chinatown in NYC and try real Chinese food... Best part of meal was the egg roll very good... I could have just ordered a half a dozen egg rolls and been happy lol.. Go with these expectations and you won't be disappointed
This was my first time trying any chinese restaurants since moving to the area and i was supremely disappointed. The only sort of edible item was the General's chicken but that was mostly breading. The lo mien, the chicken broccoli and the "fried" rice were hard to swallow, legitimately. i've eaten chinese food all over The World and this was definitely some of the worst that i've ever had; most of it went in the trash. Straight up gross, yo.
I have been coming here when I visit family, for over 25 years. The food used to be pretty good. It's still ok, but the staff is incredibly rude. Ordered Kung pow chicken combo got literally 4 half square inch pieces of chicken and the rest was peppers and onions! The bean curd dish was super bland, and anyone saying it's the best around, it's the ONLY Chinese food around there and I'm sure they know it. They haven't updated the inside in 25+ years and the whole place just feels dirty. Never returning to this place. They need to do better.
Very RUDE LADY at the counter. Customer Service is very important and I will never go there again.
