Wendy's Canyon Reviews
Daniel is literally the best I solely come to this location for him peak employee
I went through the drive thru yesterday after work. I ordered a cobb salad and hands down it was the best tasting fresh salad ever. I even go as far as saying better than most fast food places! Also every time I have ever went to this Wendy's the staff has always been friendly !! Thanks guys for making my dinner awesome :)
The BM at the window for nights is always nice n courteous. Appreciate it man! Because Canyon fast food employees are really bad. But u make my day!
I wanted the 4 for 4 but they didn't have at this location. However, I got the Dave single with combo meal. I tried their new signature hot on the fries and it was good.
Our food was good even though they prepared it wrong. My husband got a baconator Jr. Even though he ordered a Dave's single with cheese. My baconator fries order turned out to be chili cheese fries. The staff was friendly when I reported these discrepancies. However, they didn't offer any sort of compensation whatsoever. I didn't ask for any or really need it, but it would have been a nice gesture.
After the remodeling this store really stepped up their game. I was really impressed after my first few stops after it reopened. But unfortunately i went today and my food was not great. My burgers were cold, the fries were old and tasted like extremely dirty fryer oil as well as my nuggets. They weren't short staffed, the line moved very fast. But my food was very questionable. Hopefully it was just a bad day and next time will be better. Not here to put down the staff, they were all very nice. But I'd like to receive fresh food if that's what Wendy's supposedly aims for.
OK, I love Wendy's. It has always been our go-to place for a quick burger. Even went to this Wendy's several times before their remodel. We went Saturday evening and I was just disappointed. Buns looked smaller than before and the burger patties seemed thinner. The fries came from the bottom of the basket so they were all an inch to two inches long. Maybe it was my imagination but I'm not convinced.
went through drive through, 3 people up front. One helping window other 2 just standing there. Had two cars ahead of me forced to park and wait then I had to park and wait. 4 cars behind me got their orders first. Would not have to wait for food if the other two who were standing up front would help cook or do something other than stand there. I can at 6:37pm tonight.
Today I visited Wendy’s I was NOT impressed. Their new steak bites tasted like cardboard and their curly fries tasted like pork. Never coming back.
Cold fries no straw or sauces as requested.
3rd time in a row they don’t put lettuce on any of my burgers. Triple big bacon classic comes with it.
I ordered a chives and sour cream baked potato. I told myself it's so simple that they can't screw it up, so I didn't check before leaving. Somehow, these idiots forgot the sour cream!
My order has been right maybe three times in the last year. No one seems to be able to follow simple instructions. Jr. bacon cheese burger. No mayo, no tomato. Instead I get extra mayo with tomato and no bacon. Come on, guys. You can do better.
I’ve been to this Wendy's three times since the rebuild and all three times my order has been wrong. Once for breakfast and it was completely wrong. Twice for lunch and I’ve order chicken both times and have gotten a hamburger patty. It happening once, was fine. Three out of three times is just ridiculous.
I have reviewed this location before it closed and got rebuilt and I am reviewing again after being built. Before it was rebuilt, they wouldn't change out the oil so the fries tasted terrible. Everything looks great because it's new now BUT food quality for Wendy's has gone downhill majorly. The burger and chicken is tough and dry and the fries have gotten thinner almost like McDonald's fries. The re-formulation of the patties are terrible which is definitely a corporate issue. Specifically, the chicken texture is as if the chicken was steamrolled and flattened and so it's extremely tough. The Wendy's chicken used to be like normal chicken breast but now the texture in flavor is so wrong. The location is fine but Wendy's has gone majorly downhill to cut costs on food and that's a shame. Wendy's used to be one of my favorite fast food chains, now they are just like all other major chains. The only good thing about the food are the choices in soft drinks. I won't be back to this, nor ANY Wendy's ever again. Again, this is a corporate issue, not the location... sad. Can't wait for Whataburger to open up in canyon, they are the best Texas has!
