The waiters' service was spectacular. They didn't give us any trouble because of the time we were due to eat—it was after 4 p.m. The migas (breadcrumbs), the Alpujareño dish, and the fried goat cheese and red fruit jam were incredible, finger-licking good and generous...and cheap.

In short, we would definitely come back; we felt right at home. I would especially like to highlight their coffee cream, which he recommended to us and we loved. An atmospheric place full of witches, friendly service (despite not speaking the same language, we managed to communicate and laugh :) delicious ribs and a great dessert! Very good value for money. I recommend it :)

We visited Soportújar, a charming village dedicated to witches; the whole little town is beautiful. We stopped for lunch after spending the whole morning walking around the village. As soon as we entered, the owner of the restaurant, a very friendly and kind young man, greeted us and showed us to our table. The restaurant was lovely and warm, and the food was delicious: homemade stew croquettes, a wonderful Alpujarra platter, all homemade, and excellent service. Thank you very much, we will be back. I recommend it for lunch if you visit Soportújar.

Grest place for coffee or food. Inside or out the service is excellent. At an outside table you can gaze at witches festooning the walls of the street. Inside the wonder of the traditional Spanish hams sitting over the bar.

Do not look further, this is the best restaurant i ve ever tried in the whole Alpujarra. Ask for Plato alpujarreño, it is delicious! Service is unbeatable nd waiters are so kind nd careful. Best price/quality!

We tried the migas (breadcrumbs) and the Alpujarra dish. Both typical dishes of the area. The migas are made with semolina instead of bread. Everything was very good. Hearty dishes. Maybe a little pricey, but the town is very touristy, so that's understandable.

A good place for a bite to eat, with a wonderful terrace right on the street. The employee—or owner, I don't know who—was very friendly. The price is reasonable, although I think the charcuterie board could use a bit of improvement, in the sense that I'd add more ham and less bacon.

This bar is located very close to the Town Hall. The waiters are very friendly, attentive, and quick with orders. A free tapa comes with your drink; we got a paella tapa, and it was quite generous. The price is reasonable, not expensive.

Excellent food, great service, excellent staff. Everything was very good, and the price was right. The only drawback was that we were seated next to the door in the bar area; they didn't even offer us the option of going to the dining area. And they didn't close the door when they came in or when they left; it was always open, and we were freezing. Since it was December and the weather was bad, we had to wear our coats the entire meal, which was very uncomfortable and annoying.

So ...what a beautiful place and in a so small village like up there in highland of Las Alpujarras. The staff fantastic and really welcome to that "bar" Taberna. The beer was sopper nice after a drive up there in 35 ,° heat out side and super trying to park the car in the weirdest parking lot in top of hill in middle of nowhere. Anyway..we where hungry so my Spanish man order what he knows is good in Spain..salat with goats cheese cant go rong with that..but man it was soooo Sweet it was like i was eating a hunny out of the jars.. but it was fresh and crunchy but sweeeet ...omg.. we could not eat it at all. Then we did get the pork and potatoes....we know that pork well it come from a jar and the good ones are really good but this was..like it was over cook in the microwave..chuwe..like gummy. No flavor at all. Then the blood pudding, chorizo,egg and potato was fine..but i don't eat it ...but partner say it is ok..but not the best but ok. The plates are big and lot of food..but unfortunately the food is not really good. Price lala ..i ques you can price what ever up there..but the beer and friendly staff 100% so thanks for making us feel so welcome . I like to say.. good beer and happy staff and i like to know more about the Wich thing ...i like the decorations in the bar but i need to know more about it as a tourist.. i did go to Google to get the info .but would have bin nice to have something to know in your bar.

We had a reservation for 2:30 pm. We arrived early, around 2:15 pm. I mentioned I was vegetarian and wanted vegetarian migas alpujarra. They said it was no problem, they'd leave out the meat, although I'd still be charged the same. Once the starters arrived for my friends, they told me they didn't have migas. They offered other basic vegetarian dishes like cheese or eggs, but I didn't want them since I'd come specifically for the migas alpujarra. I would have ordered salmorejo, but they didn't have it either because it wasn't in season, so in the end, my meal was a bread roll and a beer. The staff was very friendly, but I was quite disappointed with how the portions were organized. How is it possible that on a holiday weekend, at 2:15 pm, one of the signature dishes that shouldn't be missing is already unavailable? Poor planning. I had to go to the bar "El Correillo" after my friends finished eating to order vegetarian migas at 3:15 pm. They had them. Finally, I was able to eat migas, which is what I was craving, and they were cheaper. Thanks, "El Correillo."

The waiters are incredibly rude, the queue stretches all the way down the street, we've been first in line since 2 pm, they clear tables, bring out double orders, lots of empty tables with "Reservation" signs, tables where people have already eaten and they don't even clean them... and the waitress was shouting "Kitchen is closing!" at 4 pm, and she was also very disrespectful to the people in line...

Despite all the tables outside being empty,when I asked for a cool drink to sit down and rest on a boiling day it was refused. Go inside I was told if you want a drink. I left, one hour later the tables were still empty. Needless to say a Spanish man was allowed to sit at an outside table.
