Food is great, definitely one of the best that I have tried in the states although I am not an expert of Mexican cuisine. Service is excellent too. And I loved the atmosphere. There is a small bar inside the restaurant.

We came in for a quick bite and a margarita for happy hour. The house margarita wasn’t awesome, but for $6 it’s not that bad. Chicken tacos were really good, three big tacos were a good deal. Ask for the house hot sauce, it was the star. The salsa that comes with the chips is pretty basic but adding the hot sauce made it pop. Service was great, we loved our server Israel, he was great

Lively atmosphere and a huge quantity of food. They serve free chips as an appetizer that are surprisingly good, the salsa sauce is a nice dip. I had the number 25 combo which was a burrito, enchilada, rice and beans. Packed with food that was all decent and for an extremely affordable price. Server was attentive and welcoming, despite the restaurant being packed.

My wife and I had lunch at La Carreta Mexican Restaurant on a weekday. We have been eating at this restaurant since it opened over 20 years ago. It was the best Mexican restaurant in New England and it was always busy. It still is today and there are a number of family offshoots from it, but the original location is still a winner. Our lunch began with the requisite complimentary bowl of chips and a mild red salsa. The chips were just as they should be - thin and crispy. I ordered the lunch Grande Burrito with steak because it is stuffed with more than just meat like most of the offshoots offer. This is a true meal in a flour tortilla similar to what you can find in the Southwest. It filled the plate on which it arrived and came smothered in a red sauce and nacho cheese. Cutting into it I discovered it was filled with rice and beans and the meat. The mix of all those items made this almost like a thick stew inside the flour tortilla shell and I enjoyed every bite. If I could have done anything to make it even better, La Carreta's would offer the same thing in their Chimichanga. To top it off I ordered a side of fresh sliced jalapenos and a cold mug of Negra Modelo beer. My wife enjoyed the Special Lunch #3 with chicken, which came with an enchilada, taco, rice and beans. She also ordered an iced tea which she felt was a bit strong. That is usually an indication that they haven't cleaned their tea urn in a while. The service was quick and attentive even though they were moderately busy. Any of the La Carreta Mexican Restaurant locations have always been our go to places for the some of the best Mexican food in New Hampshire. You won't find any mint in the refried beans here. This is authentic Tex-Mex and well worth a visit for a great meal and service at reasonable prices.

Drinks are really good. I ordered mango margarita. And the dish is chille Rellenos with grilled chicken. I had extra spicy salsa to make it very spicy. I like my the flavor and the taste of my dish. Try and let me know what guys think…

The food was ok..the service was ok. Very loud but it was busy. Definitely a hustle and bustle vibe to the servers. No real engagement. Just order get food pay leave. Our tables orders were half missing but they were getting slammed. The servers did a great job fixing the issues. Pricey for what the food was.

One more visit (number ten maybe). Very very good food again, excellent chile rellenos, excellent burrito verde with pork.. good dos Equis beer.. Service is alright; for example they did not bring us water! But overall still a wonderful Mexican joint. Been there many times and I always have dinner there whenever I am in Nashua, NH. They have great Chili Rellenos. The food is good and tasty. The service is so, so.. we were 4 and they only brought water for one person! When I changed plates, I had to go get the silverware myself; there was no one around. They are a little lost. Atmosphere is Ok, what you would expect in this part of town, decent hard working people. Prices surely went up, now they charge like 2.5-3$ for the tomatillo salsa!

I traveled from Boston to try and find a good Mexican restaurant and ended up here. We were a group of 16 people and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. We ordered the Micheladas which was one of the best I have had. It was made with fresh draft beer. Being a part time bartender, I have ordered them in every Mexican place and been disappointed but this place nailed it. The nachos and salsa were fresh and delicious. For the main we ordered the El Jefes burrito and it tasted amazing. Ask for a side of their hot sauce for a nice kick, packed some for home as well! We also got a pork quesadilla which was not the greatest. Very mild flavour but with the hot sauce it was good. The beans and rice that came along tasted good as well. Our friends also got some strawberry margaritas which were def extra on the tequila pour, how they should be. Our server was the best, she was super helpful and friendly with the recommendations and had all orders out correctly and on time ! Definitely coming back !

We had dinner once at this place. The staff were friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. The wait time was around 20 minutes. However, I was not impressed by the food and dessert quality and they were on the average side. The quality of veggie fajita was not the one I expected and it didn’t come with rice. The drinks were good though.

Love the atmosphere. The staff was nice out our waiter didn’t check on us during the meal. The plate was super hot but food was barely warm. I’d been here years ago. Really disappointed.

There were no Taco Tuesday specials available. The food overall was average and did not particularly stand out. Portions were smaller than what is typically offered at most Mexican restaurants, and the quality did not meet expectations—especially for La Carreta, which I am usually a fan of. The chips and salsa, however, were good and enjoyable.

Low quality food. Nachos filled with shredded lettuce. Guacamole not fresh. Chicken taco portion seen in the picture comes with peppers. Server with mad attitude. No apologies.

Was doing delivery for door dash. Went in for an order that was already on the table getting cold. I approached the hostess showed her my phone and she told me to wait a few mins. Multiple server walked by me without greeting me or trying to help. I made eye contact with this woman multiple times and was ignored. After 7 mins I approach a gentlemen. Showed him my phone and he grabbed the order that was a doot away from me. This place is usually bad ass for service and friendliness but tonight 0 out of 10
