TBD Kitchen Carrollton Reviews
Great food. Everything is seasoned perfectly. Grab some of the orange sauce and green sauce to enjoy with your chips and food. The guacamole is delicious. Fresh and the perfect spice. The Carne Asada is a favorite. Cooked perfect, tender and amazing flavor. For a perfect cocktail, try a guava Collins. So refreshing!
Great people, great food. The amazing staff is a hat keeps us coming back. That and the killer margaritas! This is the best kept secret! If you get Brandon or Colton, you're in great hands. If not .. you'll still have a great time!
First of all I couldn’t find your Tuesday street tacos to start of this review. Not a problem. I can work with it. (About an hour ago) Beth found that you had taco Tuesdays. That was all it took for me to get up after a long day and say lead the way. It was 7PM Tuesday night. We didn’t have to wait. That’s a plus. The staff was super awesome to some of our requests. I wanted an extra shot of tequila. Beth had the mango margarita which I hear was the bomb. We had a plan. We were going to have one of each of the tacos apiece. None of them disappointed. I would however advise caution with the chorizo. All and all I give this place a 10. Sugar skulls adorned. Alissa is our favorite waitress when we come in. I just don’t have enough good things to say about this place.
Absolutely fantastic place to grab some street tacos. Their “posh tacos” rotate seasonally, but the ones I have tried are amazing. Highly recommend the brisket taco if they have it, as well as the fried avocado. I was really impressed with the corned beef taco for St Patrick’s Day, hopefully that one can make more frequent appearances. The table salsa is pretty good, but you definitely need to order some guacamole as well. The jalapeños pickles in soy sauce are a game changer. Everyone at the table agreed that the salsa verde was exceptional; I preferred the smoky orange salsa, but it is quite spicy (if that isn’t your thing). Definitely our new favorite place for tacos. It doesn’t hurt that the ambience is also spot on.
Awesome neighborhood restaurant/bar offering S. American/Tex-Mex cuisine. Patio overlooks Lake Avalon in Castle Hills. Great staff. Perfect margaritas.
Simply the best bars in the suburb that is Carrollton. From the amazing bartenders to the unique cocktails and beers to the quick bite foods or full five star meals. The music and vibes of the great patrons here make it a place that makes me want to come again and again. Some of my favorites: Elotes (corn on a cup with seasoning) Gaviota (similar to Paloma cocktail with mezcal instead) Campechanos (two tasty meats in one taco) Four corners shandy (poblano mixed with el chingon) Mango or strawberry frozen margaritas (bc duh)
Bottomless mimosas here was everything. Loved having brunch here last weekend. It was simply yummy. Great service too
I have been here a couple of times now. Tried all the tacos and a huge plate of nachos. It was all good. They make a pretty good Mole Old Fashioned too.
Freaking amazing!! These chilaquiles are sooo good! Customer service is great! I definitely recommend this place!

Loved the patio, marg, and trio fajitas! Generous portion of peppers and onions. Might be my new fav fajita place! Loaded queso was also delightful.
I just had the most unforgettable night at TBD Kitchen, and I couldn't wait to share the experience! From the moment I stepped in, the place exuded a warm and welcoming vibe that set the stage for a fantastic evening. Let me tell you about Kaya, the extraordinary bartender who made the night even more special. Her passion for mixology was evident in every cocktail she crafted. Trust me; she knows how to elevate your drink game. Kaya's friendly and engaging personality added a personal touch, making me feel like a valued guest. Now, onto the food – each dish on TBD Kitchen's menu is a culinary masterpiece. The chef's dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients truly shines through. From appetizers to desserts, the flavors were exquisite, leaving me craving more. TBD Kitchen has this effortlessly cool ambiance, making it the perfect spot for a laid-back night out. Kaya's skill behind the bar and the delectable food make this place a standout in the local scene. It's the kind of spot you'd want to keep coming back to.
We go there literally every week for brunch. It’s our favorite spot. The people are kind, the food is great, and the mimosas are strong. They have a good bar scene at night as well if you’re into that.
Great food and friendly staff, would definitely return.

My wife and I go here probably once a week! Absolutely love it, Colton is the best and the margaritas are homemade!

Good joint. Tacos a little salty, but overall not bad. Service made up for it. Cool little joint, but dead for the playoffs being on.

The Latin wings were sooo good and I highly recommend. Chips weren’t hot and tasted stale. We got breakfast tacos that were mediocre. We were recommended the house Margarita and it did not disappoint. Overall an average experience.
The way this restaurant is set up is just weird IMHO. You walk through the door wondering if you ended up in the back service area. Its busy & loud & crowded & its the only way through the restaurant, so you maneuver through that food service area, trying not to get in the way, thinking you'll find the hostess stand at the other end. Nope. So you navigate back to the food service area to find out you seat yourself. Upon seating yourself, service is attentive & prompt. They ran out of all the specials, so I ordered the carne asada, which was quite tender. Its a family friendly restaurant, so if you want to be able to hear & talk with your dining party, this may not be the best setting. Food - 4 stars Atmosphere - 2 stars

Love the concept, the location, the people. Trouble getting past things like stuff piled up in corners, wet cloths set down randomly, and the general need for serious housekeeping. That said, it's a great weekend hangout place for meeting friends, nibbling chips and salsa, and having a beer or margarita. Nice neighborhood location.

I live in the neighborhood and have given this place soooo many chances- it’s bad and unprofessional owner/mgmt
We have ordered few times fajitas to go and each time they burned the chicken!! I just can't believe they just give customers Black BURNED chicken. We tried to give them another opportunity today but as ALWAYS we got BURNED chicken again!! Last time we order from this place!!
Decided to try this place on a whim. This is worse than fajita Pete's. Spouse and I were given dirty forks. Torillas were of poor quality, but what should I expect? Beans and rice were cold, not even room temp. Chips were stale. Fajita chicken and steak were warm but not hot, they had decent seasoning. I wouldn't be surprised if the kitchen was just a microwave. Disappointed to say the least
TBD Kitchen recently underwent some changes, notably the installation of a black cage on the bar top meant for liquor storage. Unfortunately, this addition, though functional, has significantly impacted the overall ambiance and practicality of the space. The choice to place the cage on the bar top, blocking the once-visible chalkboard, is questionable at best. What was once an open and inviting atmosphere now feels cramped and closed in. The cage, though serving its storage purpose, acts as an eyesore and distracts from the otherwise pleasing aesthetics of the establishment. One of the major drawbacks is the reduced space for patrons at the bar. The addition of the cage seems to have taken away valuable seating room, making it feel congested and less accommodating than before. It's disheartening to witness a space that previously exuded openness and comfort now struggle under the weight of a poorly placed storage solution. While the functionality of the cage is understood, its current placement compromises the overall customer experience. It not only obstructs the view of the chalkboard but also gives off an impression of a thoughtless design choice. Patrons, who once enjoyed the freedom of an open bar setting, are now confronted with an obstacle that hinders their overall enjoyment. In conclusion, TBD Kitchen's recent addition might serve a practical purpose, but its impact on the overall atmosphere and customer experience cannot be ignored. Reconsidering the placement or finding an alternative solution that doesn't compromise the aesthetic and spaciousness of the bar area would undoubtedly enhance the dining experience for patrons.
