The older white gentleman at the window was very nice and gave GREAT customer service. I will return because of him. I would take away a half star because the food is way too expensive.

Nivea was awesome, as was everyone who works here. We drove in from out of town for a surprise birthday party for our teenagers. A&W/LJS was so accommodating and kind to them. There was great selection for everyone. The only slight drawback was that the fish tacos were quite different than normal, i.e, large fish filets in flour tortillas, but the fish filets are delicious, as are burgers and floats!

A&W Restaurant exceeded my expectations during my recent visit. Although it's primarily known for its classic American fare, I decided to try something from the Long John Silver's menu. Opting for the 2 chicken plate, 6 shrimp, and 2 sides, I was delighted by the flavorful and mouthwatering meal that awaited me. What impressed me most was the exceptional service I received. The drive-through attendant was incredibly patient when I changed my mind about my initial order. He listened attentively as I described what I wanted and willingly swapped out the fish for chicken, accommodating my preference without any hesitation. It's rare to encounter such understanding and flexibility in fast-food establishments, making the experience all the more enjoyable. Upon receiving my order, I was thrilled with the presentation and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. The inviting ambiance made me feel comfortable, and the courteous staff added to the positive dining experience. As I took the first bite, I knew I had made the right choice. The food was undeniably delicious, with the chicken cooked to perfection and the shrimp delightfully crispy. The two sides complemented the main dishes perfectly, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to the entire meal. In conclusion, A&W Restaurant truly impressed me with its top-notch service, warm atmosphere, and delectable food. I wholeheartedly recommend trying out their Long John Silver's menu, and I am already looking forward to my next visit to savor more of their delicious offerings.

So this restaurant partners with LongSilvers ( which have pretty much gone extinct in the Austin area) so I’ve always gone there to eat the fish only which is awesome! However A&W does have great burgers!!!

This place was PERFECT. I had a great experience. The restaurant was clean, service was excellent. Friendly staff. (At least the people I interacted with were friendly.) The food was delicious. Beyond my expectations. The cheese curds were a surprise that didn't disappoint. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. I will definitely be coming back to give them my business. I definitely rang the bell!

I ordered the wrong thing because I read the menu wrong but the service was so fast and the thing I ordered was made so well that I don't have any complaints. Fish was crispy on the outside and soft/flaky on the inside, hushpuppies were flavorful and had good texture, and the fries were appropriately salted. Clean table, kind staff, fast service. If you're looking for fried fish and fresh root beer in a hurry, this has got to be the best place around here

The speaker wasn't working, so I got to order at the window. The person working drive thru was really nice and got my order out to me pretty quickly. Everything tasted great! And I love the root beer.

Actually, this is a combination Long John Silvers and A&W. I ate at LJS. It was great. The Grilled Salmon was moist and tender. Quite a pleasant surprise, considering this is a fast food restaurant. Excellent staff. Clean establishment.

I haven’t been inside of an A&W in soooooo long. The service was good and the BBQ burger was on point. Can’t eat all of it and I only left one bite, so it was good. I would ask for fresh fries next time they were done, but they were in between done it undercooked little bit soggy, but I don’t know if my only complaint was the fries weren’t good then it is what it is I like seeing the older pictures on the wall and the the jukebox on there was super cute but food ambience the restaurant was those good I mean I think it’s overpriced, but it was good

A caution that the manager on duty the other day said that they require a printed copy of any coupon used rather than just showing it on your phone (even though the coupon just says to "show" the coupon. " There are getting to be fewer and fewer Long John Silvers around, so I am glad this store is here.

I mainly go there for the A&W Root beer. The customer service can be good. I usually ring the bell. It is nice that they added waffle fries.

Decent spot crossed with a Long John Silver. Food was greasy and tasty as you'd expect. They did put some effort into the dineresque decor so it's got some retro vibe.

My friend and I walked in and the manager refused us service at 8:30 on a Saturday evening. Saying he forgot to lock the lobby doors and that the lobby was closed and we had to go into the drive through. In the middle of a city? That was busy, y’all are going to close lobby early on a Saturday night? No wonder AW has so many closed down restaurants. The food was delicious but I’ll be going to another fast food restaurant where I won’t be refused service in the lobby and I can get slot more food for less money. I was throughly disappointed. Unhappy with my order, the cheese curds are tiny balls of grease, hardly any cheese, received 5 mini corndogs instead of full order of 8, and was charged for a coney dog when I wanted a plain hot dog. Root beer float was solid and the drive thru was very friendly, only pluses.

Guy at the drive thru was rude and wouldn't even give me a chance to say my order let alone think of what i wanted when they said they were out of something. I mean goodness learn some customer service please. I mean i guess with the area this location is at I shouldn't expect anything more.
