Excellent mixiotes. I've known them for 20 years. I just never order them with cilantro. I once arrived early and was watching them getting ready to sell. And they don't wash the cilantro; they just half-soak it in a bucket and shake it out. The water in that bucket was grayer and dirtier than a mop. Many places do the same, which is why I don't order cilantro. But that doesn't stop me from giving it 5 stars, because of the flavor of the mixiotes. After the mixiotes, they sell the ice cream right next door, also 5 stars.

This stand has been on that corner for over 40 years, and I've been visiting ever since. The service from the owners and the people who work with them is excellent and very helpful. They welcome you with proof that, if you're a regular customer, you've already had three very well-served tacos. The mixiotes are top-notch, with good meat and excellent preparation. You can pair them with salsa, cucumber, onion, lemon juice, and a very tasty spicy dressing. If you're on a diet, visit them and gorge yourself; you only live once, and this food is worth it.

Without a doubt, they are some of the best Mixiotes you can find in the city. The service is great. Upon arrival, they welcome you with a complimentary taco. They offer excellent flavor. They offer nopales, habanero onions, and salsas to accompany them. They serve it by the taco and by the kilo, so you can eat in or take out.
