Frisco was great. He helped me complete my order online after I downloaded the app to use it for the first time. Very nice and courteous. I was a successful managing partner at a concession at DFW airport for almost 8 years and if I was still there, I would definitely give him a job. Good help nowadays is truly hard to find so I definitely think that you should hold on to him.

The food tasted great! We ordered a family special. It had delecious chicken sandwhiches in it. It also had 6 pieces of regular chicken. The mac and cheese tasted great too. They put real cheese on top. Overall, I was very impressed with the food. We will definitely be going back.

Ok Popeyes, come through! I've been revisiting this location for the past few times since after a while of no patronizing due to many disappointments. Each time I received fresh and delicious food with good service. I believe I no longer need to travel a city over for some good Popeyes! Please keep up the good work!

They were really busy and it took a minute to order but after I ordered, they got my food out extremely fast. Food was great. They gave me the wrong side from what I asked for and when I told them they gave me my side without taking away the original one they gave me.

Food is always good and fresh but the cashier with the backwards hat is horrible. He had an attitwith 2 ladies that could have been his grandmother's age. Disrespectful and never giving eye contact... Huffing and deep breathing. Body language was very unprofessional and for the manager to leave him on the front cashier was poor .. he should have been told to go take a break or perhaps clock out but to be rude to paying customers was a zero...

Best Popeyes in this area by a wide margin. We went on a saturday and the place was booming. Cars wrapped around the drive through. We went inside and they were busy, but the service was quick, and the food was excellent. We won't even go to the one in Waxahachie where we live because it's so awful.

Finally got ahold of the famous chicken sandwich (spicy) and it was definitely a taste you have to experience yourself. Employees were nice and friendly and I was in and out of the drive-thru in no time. I would like to thank the employees for their hard work and for preparing such an amazing meal and experience for me. 😊

Went in on a Tuesday, very popular day because of the special. They were out of Spicy legs, and working more. There was a line of people probably about to order the same thing. The woman behind the counter didn't panic, she let me choose my alternative, apologized about the wait and made things right. Shortly after their registers were acting up during lunch hour, she and the staff handled it, the inside and the drive through and didn't panic. They did a great job when many other places would have failed. I will continue to go there.

I avoided Popeyes for years thinking their spicy food was too hot for me. But I guess my tolerance for spicy-hot has gone way up. They have great, affordable specials every day of the week. I have never been dissatisfied with any meal.

The food is good but it's way too expensive. Cedar Hill has 10 chicken places. Popeyes is one of the most expensive. I only visit 2-3 times a year for that reason. A 3 piece dark meal with a side of Mac n Cheese was $14. The Mac n cheese wasn't even fresh 😪

The food was hot this time, and it didn't take long but they did not have any good family specials. When I walked in, they had to call someone to the counter to help me. The store was relatively clean, but it was not as good as it could have been. Despite that, I would eat here again.

Me and my husband went through the drive-through and had a mobile order, when they gave us our food we had a chicken sandwich missing ( not a big deal!). My husband goes in to get it and he said he watched the manager personally make his chicken sandwich, and even threw in some fries! Amazing customer service!

I would like to acknowledge Jennifer today. She is amazing. I like her personality when it comes to customer service. There should be a video to teach everyone how to provide service. The wait wasn't long, the eating area could've been a little cleaner, but overall it was better than others in the nearby areas.

This Popeyes on HWY 67 in Cedar Hill is one of my go-to spots in the Dallas area. I enjoyed my visit, and the chicken was perfectly fresh and hot! I'm giving it 4 stars because the bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but the food quality ensures I will be back again soon.

Fries were blah. Coke was very good. New chicken sandwich was very good. Order was quick and at a reasonable cost. I had a major problem some years with this food chain and only now have given them my business/$$$. It will take some time and repeated quality food and service to win me back, but they will never again have my trust.

I don't know what it is about some of the staple businesses in Cedar Hill, but Popeyes Chicken use to be the hot spot before service started to sharply decline along with the food. I gave it 3 stars because some of the other reviewers are correct about the language barrier, rude service, low or lack of adequate inventory (meaning no chicken half the time), long wait times for fresh chicken, or you receive dry, old chicken. The managers here should know what their peak and off-peak times are, to make sure they have enough stock for the day or for a few days until their next delivery. It seems like a never ending excuse to hear.."It's going to be about 10 to 12 minutes for fresh chicken." REALLY!?!?!? So that tells me, they will sit there and wait until certain parts of the chicken are all gone before dropping another batch. Now, I understand you may have a customer that will come and order an abundance of wings, legs and thighs, causing the cook to make a drop on fresh chicken. But this issue is an ongoing problem at Popeyes. Really, it's almost like a catch-22 situation...You either catch them on a good day, or catch them on a bad day. So I can't say this Popeyes is the worst or a totally bad place to eat. They just need to improve the service a bit and gain back the popularity they once had.

I ordered 2 chicken sandwich’s one was an original chicken sandwich the other the blackened chicken sandwich. They were both good it’s just that they also were lukewarm not fresh at all. I usually come to this location but the staff are always changing. Hopefully their fresh next time.

The drive through service is very slow...they didn't have a basic 8 piece mild available..they offered a substitute spicy wing that is the smallest chicken piece..with no discount. Also only had 2 fried pies available of 3 that was ordered...asking if I wanted to wait additional 7 minutes...again with no discount available to compensate for the inconvenience. Overall the food was okay..but the service and their preparedness is less than desirable. Again, the wait time is too long!

Food is excellent but it's drive thru only (Oct 2022) They say they are open but the lobby door is locked shut for over a week. The sign says it's open to online orders, but I ordered online and they still forced me to go back to my car. I'm adding two stars to this review because their spicy chicken sandwich is still the best chicken sandwich I've ever had.

The food was good. The person at the window seemed like they were not having a great day. Didn't greet with a smile, say "thank you" or "you're welcome." I know it can be rough, and us in guest services have to deal with some not so nice people, but a simple smile can go a long way. I do hope that their day did get better.

Good food, but right now the 3rd of July. I see alot of drink stains on the fountain area, and there is a large area of soda spill on a seat and the floor. Looks like no one has cleaned it up at all. And they do get your orders good but they don't give you everything you ask for. Also it would take a good while for you to get your order out. Like at good 20 minutes.

Poor management. They have closed the inside so the least they could do is assure better service, including time of waiting, in the drive thru. They only service one car at a time from beginning to end. They do not even take the order of the next car until the car before has received their food and about to leave. Finally found that out after going and waiting in line for 30 minutes with only 5 cars in the line. So ridiculous. The line is always long. The manager should be ashamed. They also never answer the phone.

The food has always been very good, but since the pandemic it has been difficult to pick up online orders because the lobby has been closed. At $4.00 a gallon for gasoline, I don't want to have to wait in a drive-up line after I placed and paid for my order. I've tried calling to find out if the lobby is open, but the phone doesn't seem to be working. It is really a shame.

Not pleased especially when I order and they just opened less than a hour ago. My food wasn’t hot it was barely warm like it was cooked and just sitting under the light. I ordered a 2 piece with a side it wasn’t even warm and a 12 piece that had been sitting under the light. I should have went to Chicken Express. I don’t know what kind of deformed wings they serving but they can do better.

I ordered a 14-piece chicken tender meal with two sides in person, and while the food was hot, fresh, and tasted good once I finally got it, the wait was way too long. It took about 20–30 minutes, and I had to complain before my order was brought out. The staff didn’t seem very organized, and several customers were waiting as well. The food itself was solid, but the service definitely needs improvement.

I got their 6pc tender meal. The tenders were room temperature and dry. No dipping sauce in the bag. I only came for the fries which didn't disappoint but the chicken was horrible. How dare they serve chicken like that when Raising Cane's is now in Cedar Hill.

Don’t go to this Popeyes!! They are horrible, Cedar Hill city council should really shut them down and put something else there. The service is horrible they don’t take orders inside the location. What kind of mess is that?!? Why in the predominant black neighborhood we get treated like this, especially from a “chicken” place?? ***Don't bother going to this business, you might just regret it!!!***

They got my order wrong in the drive thru and the inside was closed to properly address it. I had to park my car and walk over to the drive thru window to be met with Ana who was rude and exhibited absolutely no customer service training. I asked to speak with the manager and Ana says she’s not here right now. You need to talk to me because I’m the one in charge right now. I asked for the customer service number and she says it’s on the receipt which only has the direct store’s number. I’m very disappointed with the service I received today. Ana doesn’t deserve one star, but I had to select it. Ana needs to be retrained or fired.

Rarely do I write reviews, but this one had to be done. Customer service is non-existent. And no manners through drive through. Had to go inside because I forgot to ask for sauces, but I left after seeing the cashier guys with glasses having such a visible attitude towards customers. Rolling his eyes & moving his arms with frustration along with his tone of voice. I understand work can be frustrating but working where you are, you need to show some level of professionalism, doesn’t matter even if it’s a Popeyes. Me no longer coming here isn’t going to affect their business, but letting others know to beware of this place made sense.

If you order from this location, please check your order or just go to another location all together. We ordered a 3 piece and 5 piece totaling over $22. When we got home and opened the bag, there was a box of fries, a sandwich and a biscuit. Almost as if they just put whatever they had left that was cooked in the bag. 🤬

Me & my girlfriend was rascally profiled my gf is pregnant & wanted chicken when we did online order pickup they messed our order up 3times & told us we was stealing there food in Spanish they was very rude & needs to have punishment for there racist behavior they thrown my fries all over bag & they didnt cook my chicken there was blood coming out of half cooked chicken. I order 5 daily specials which was 5 chicken sandwiches and 5 cokes. I asked for my chicken to be dropped fresh and I was willing to wait extra time. Got to window and paid and I seen a bag there and I told the young man at window, I order fresh dropped chicken he said it just came out the grease. I believed him . When I made it home sandwiches was not fresh looked as if they were made 2 hours in advance. Called to inform management. No one answered phone.

The chicken is good....when they have what you want. Order it....pay for it...wait for it...."I'm sorry, we're out of spicy". Last few times I was there a lot of people were waiting and waiting. All for spicy chicken and they kept cooking regular! You would hope that a manager would know what you sell most and adapt. NOPE. The very last time I was there I through a little fit and asked for the manager. This SHOCKED the entire staff that I asked for the manager. The so called "manager" came up with a lost look on her face and just stood there. I explained my history there and my opinion (I know, everybody has one) and asked what has changed here in the last few months that has caused the issues that I brought up. Her answer: "I don't know". Never offered an apology or anything. I figured that answered my question. The driver through was a rude, I'd rather talk to the girls about something else while I'm handing you back your change and chicken. Whoever owns the Cedar Hill location really needs to consider an upgrade in management and employee training/supervising.

I always have to wait for spicy chicken at this location. The wait can be anywhere from 6 to 15 minutes when they run out of spicy chicken. Today I waited patiently. They gave me my chicken and I started checking my order and one of the Popeyes employee says we gave you the wrong order because there was no spicy in the order. I waited 5 additional minutes only to get home and still no spicy chicken. Now that is just wrong. If I wanted to wait for mild chicken I would go to Royals where the mild chicken tastes better than Popeyes in my honest opinion.

Horrible manager that should be bilingual but has a representative there translating... Very rude and thought since I was not of her ethnicity that I wouldn't understand when she talked very disgraceful, degrading, and unprofessional in Spanish, but little did she know I am bilingual and definitely held back from saying what I wanted to say. I did let her know how unprofessional she was. I also told her the wait was extremely long for my order to be cold, hard and wrong. All while the spicy chicken my mate ordered was hot and fresh... I was so baffled that she did not want to replace my order because the bite I took out of one chicken. Lol... She is a joke and definitely needs retraining on the in and outs of being a manager. This location needs training... The case wait is entirely too long. Manager needs to learn English and upper management needs to audit this location at night and see why they could be making way more revenue at this location with reevaluating, retraining, and following the process of fast food.

Came to drive thru and ordered 8 pieces of spicy and specifically asked for all dark. Shame on me for not checking my order prior to leaving. I got home and saw they had disregarded my order and placed white meat in the box. Make sure you check your order before pulling off! Ordered chicken sandwich without pickles. I asked the cashier if the order has no pickles and he proceeded to say right no pickles. I get home and it seemed like it was extra pickles on it. I drove 15 mins back to Popeyes, spoke to manager on duty 8:30pm Dec 20, 2022 and she argued w me and said i should check my receipt for the right order before I leave the window. Got home and u guessed it the MANAGER gave me a chicken sandwich WITH PICKLES!!! Bad service at cedar hill tx popeyes! This Popeyes has always had bad service!!!

This place shames the Popeyes chain...Every time we go it's horrible. We always have to wait so long in the drive-thru & it doesn't matter if you go inside bc its just as bad. They always forget part of our order, like tonight we waited 35 min & they failed to give us the sides for all 4 orders, all 4 biscuits, a drink, the butterfly shrimp & chicken were overcooked hard & gross. I've grown up loving Popeyes but this one has really disgusted me. It's over & over, the issues don't get better. When you try to call to talk to someone they never answer the phone. We wont be returning here even if we have to drive 30 min or more away. They need a complete overhaul of staff & management!

Order online and do the pickup but not available until you arrived , packed and walk up to the front door! Crab… need to do drive through in long line. The option of pickup should disable if no such service. Bad customer/apps experience.

Line wrapped around the building and not moving so I went inside. The young man on front counter was taking orders and making them along with all online orders. He was trying his best but the speed of service was ridiculous only for me to get burnt chocolate chip biscuits. Pure chaos and poor leadership. Won’t be returning to this location.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. 5/12/25 1pm 226 E FM 1382 Cedar Hill Texas. The lady at the register is impatient and very rude. I asked for the manager...no help at all.The lady at the register told me that I was taking too long with my order. It didn't matter to her that I'm a senior citizen with a disability.

I went through the drive thru here last night around 7:15 pm. I wanted to add a biscuit to the order. The drive thru told me it was $5. I said I only wanted 1. He said it was $5. One biscuit is a little over a dollar. I took his picture and drove off. This location is very shady. I have complained before. But, nothing happens. And calling there gets you nowhere. They intentionally don't answer. I contacted their corporate because of their attitude. Horrible. DO NOT GO THERE.

This place is horrible! Every time I go they never get my order the way I ask. I ask for white meat and they give me dark meat! I don’t care if I get charged extra but give me what I order. I ordered the 10 piece family meal. My receipt shows 3 spicy legs, 3 spicy thighs, 2 spicy wings, and 2 spicy breasts for the meat portion. However, when I got home, I saw that there were only 2 spicy wings and the rest of the pieces of chicken were very thick breasts and thighs. I should've checked my order before I left.

On Tuesday, October 29th, at approximately 7:30 p.m. I visited the drive-through and placed an order for an 8-piece all-dark meal. Upon receiving my order, I conducted a brief inspection by moving the chicken around with my hands and discovered that the chicken pieces did not exclusively consist of dark meat as requested. I gave the box of chicken back for them to redo the order. They redid the order to my satisfaction. However, i witnessed the young lady place the chicken that I touched with my hands back under the heat light to be served to another customer. I have seen other unsanitary practices go on at this location, but this was the most disgusting. Needless to say, this will be the last time I vist.

DO NOT EAT HERE ! No stars needed for this place! They are very unprofessional. Their general manger Lewis and “supervisor“ Sayra are both very rude people. The restaurant was not clean and there was even a girl working with the food with NO UNIFORM on just jogging pants, a tshirt, and slides with her hair down. I will never come here again. Not to mention I left with no food AFTER paying for it. They need a new staff completely because with all of these people running this restaurant like a daycare, this location will not be open long.

I'm not a resident of this area. But I do know the quality that Popeyes is known for. Totally missed here! However it's apparent their quality comes up short if you order at 9:00pm. Their chicken was hard! The temperature of the red beans and rice was questionable. And they put the cold slaw in the same bag as the warm chicken! What can be done? Give a review when possible. Because they don't answer the phone towards the end of the day if at ALL! Oh yeah, 2 PC spicy, slaw, mashed potatoes, and 2 regular size Red beans and rice cost 28.00$

For some reason everytime we go here the service is okay. The size of the chicken they give is not the same from all the other restaurants. The chicken breast is not fried correctly because when you turn the chicken over to the back by the bone there is a big roll of flour cooked into that space where you can pull out like it is a part of the chicken. This is the second time this has happened. They need to learn how to fry chicken correctly.

You all need to do better. Start answering the phone or using a working number to reach you. I placed an order via uber eats and asked my courier to ask for extra bbq sauce because you guys always forget to add pplz condiments. She told me I would have to pay for extra but two come with the order. I get the delivery only to realize no sauces were added. You guys need to use your brains and do your job better. I am so pissed. I spent almost $25 on a meal I can barely enjoy because someone wanted to police condiments. DO BETTER BOZOS!

My wife placed an order in the drive thru for 5pc blackened strip, 3pc chicken, and a spicy chicken sandwich upon returning home to only haveone item correct the sandwich the other items were shrimp box and fried tender. Tried calling to have order prepared because we knew it takes time for the blackened strips unfortunately no one answered a total of 5 calls made. This is unacceptable service. Wasted time and gas. Probably won't visit this location anytime soon

Last time I went my food was wrong , they give me bone in and not boneless and the one piece of chicken’s. I got a code to get my next meal free so I went back up there and the manager told me I couldn’t use my code . The manager was very rude yesterday on 8/29/2025 around 8:30pm. And my food was wrong again . They give me bone in again and the wrong piece of chicken again . I am not please at all .

I’ve gone to this Popeyes several times against my better judgement. The customer service it horrid! The manager needs leadership training. He definitely does not display qualities of a leader. Punching in a coupon code is NOT a leadership skill! Everyone waited way too long for their food. This young man was there when i arrived. He was sitting at a table waiting for popcorn shrimp mind you. When I left after waiting for some time he was STILL there. And the manager wasn’t concerned! Poor service! I finally got my order. I get home and the quality of the food is definitely NOT the same! The chicken tasted old! The gravy on the mash potatoes taste different. The best part was the coleslaw and that’s sad when you’re calling yourself Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits. They remolded the face of the store and that’s all they did! Same poor service and poor quality of food. I definitely will not be back. I’ll probably call corporate today. Popeye’s had certainly gone down hill! So sad! Y’all need to go back to the basics. All the way back!

My wife purchased a gift card for me to use on my lunch breaks near my job I’ve tried THREE SEPERATE TIMES!!!! at this location to use my gift card the manager told me it was his system the first time so I didn’t stress it I payed that time and moved on,, the second time he told me I didn’t activate the card so I payed for it in MY OWN CARD AGAIN, and on the THIRD TIME visiting him I told him I activated it this he tries it kicks back and he can’t tell me why?!?! So after that he swipes his own manager gift card and shows that it works with his and he couldn’t give me a reason as to why it doesn’t work at his locatio?!?! can someone pls tell me why this is the case it’s very frustrating having to pay for 3 meals and the gift card that my wife got me still doesn’t work

Make sure you check if the lobby is open BEFORE you order on the app. The convenience and main reason I decided to have some Popeyes after work. Was to place my order and have it READY for me. So you can imagine my anger when I placed my order in advance for the damn lobby to close EARLY before the advertised closing time. And the worse part my food was ready. But I was told at the door I had to wait in the drive thru line wrapped around the store. To wait 20 mins and get my food that’s been just sitting and getting cold. I’m furious about this service. This is far from fast food and Popeyes chain needs to hire dependable workers or just close the lobby down if you don’t have a capable crew at this location.

This location ALWAYS get my order wrong. You have to check it 3 times to make sure it’s right. The chicken is often under cooked, sides aren’t cooked properly. Theres no diversity on their staff either and they are hard at understanding English.

I placed a wing order over 25 minutes ago and thought it was ready only to find out the lady on the fryer claims she didn’t hear the young man tell her she had a wing order to come from the back! The the manager comes out saying she didn’t hear him.. is she deaf or was she asleep smh now I’m here 30 minutes for wings! Horrible service. The guy on drive through speaker was unbelievably rude and yelled at me to pull through after I told him I had a mobile order. Then I wait in line for 10 minutes only to reach the window for them to say who are you and what did you order. I tell them again I had a mobile order under Olivia and after waiting a couple of minutes again they say they need me to go wait out front. Then they bring me the wrong order. Then they don't come back out for 10 minutes so I go inside where they ignore me and then go back out to my empty car. I finally did get my food after 40 minutes of this nonsense. Also if you look all the recent reviews are the same and the response from the owner is placating nonsense where they do nothing but say "that must have frustrating we will do better".

When I say NEVER AGAIN I mean it! I ate here a few years ago and got sick. Silly me I decided to try it today again. Had 2 wings classic, French fries and a coke. Within 30 minutes of me eating I was in a deep sweat..drenched , in the restroom, stomach cramping and throwing up everything. This location needs to be looked into. This is not safe. I haven’t eaten anything else and I know this is where my food poisoning came from! I will be contacting upper corporate management. Be careful and eating at this location it is NOT worth it!

I came to this Popeyes right before closing and ordered two 6-piece wings. A young employee took my order but was extremely slow and distracted. Instead of giving me both 6-piece boxes, he only gave me one and then threw in some random old tenders like I wouldn’t notice. I’m a truck driver and had to get back on the road, so I left. I came back the next day to get my missing wings and spoke to the manager (a guy who looks like Mario & Luigi mixed together). The lady at the counter went to explain my situation to him, and he gave this nasty look like I was lying or trying to get free food. Very unprofessional. He finally said he would “fix it this time,” like he was doing me a favor, when in reality I was owed either my food or my money back. The employees are slow, distracted, and clearly not trained. The service is unprofessional, the attitudes are bad, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to spend their money at this location.

Take out | Dinner | $20–30 Went througt the drive thru ,ordered my food ,confirmed the order, paid got the food .Asked if they had my order correct, the lady read my order and confirmed, one order 2 pcs and the other was 3 pcs, when I arrived at home found two order of 2 pcs on each box, also I asked for spice chicken and one pc was traditional. This is not the first time that we have this issue, we use to check the order before leaving the place, but yesterday I trust on the lady who read my order at the window, why workers can't do they job?, and why the company praise of Fast food chain if get an order takes as long as go inside and eat... I believe we are done with Popeyes laziness and careless employees that only work for theirs ours instead to the good old Customer Service.

I just came from ordering through the drive through. Wanted to try the dippers and they were hard as a rock, the two piece dark meat with fries appeared to be greasy and old. Extremely disappointed and threw the food away. Only thing that was ok was the mango lemonade and Mac & cheese. A complete waste of $23 and another reminder for me to cook at home. Was too tired to turn around to exchange the food.

Last time I go to this location. I got half spicy which was old,soggy chicken. It was disgusting. I always loved popeyes chicken,but this makes me not want to return to ANY location. Yall check your food, because they will sell you chicken that has been sitting out more than the 15 min. Policy is they should throw out chicken after 15 to 25 min,but obviously they are not doing that.

How is the owner of this location not concerned?! The staff was beyond horrific. The boy that took my order placed it wrong and tried to fix it but with multiple staff that don’t care, he couldn’t improve much. The manager needs to be fired, refused to sell a promotion on the menu and then refused to give me my food in a timely manner, she forgot my side and then had the audacity to ask me to pay for it after the entire experience was horrendous. She didn’t even confront me she spoke through her staff. Popeyes needs to strip this ownership from their franchise, this location ruins the potential for other locations to make sales.

Not very happy with this place. I guess Not All Popeyes are created equal. Sign says drive-thru opens at 10 am... workers are inside... but waited for 10 minutes and still NOTHING.!. Other cars showed up but they too were met with NOTHING. So guess where we're at...across the street at McDonald's. 😆
