First visit. Weekend, busy shopping center but there is parking available in the back lot. Got P9 (spicy pho) and tried the pancake (really tasty). I got the chicken and pork. Great food. Good atmosphere, friendly service. Pineapple bubble tea for dessert. Highly recommend.

The food is great and feels like they take great care in preparing the food. The flavors are really great and so is the service. My drink didn't take good and they were great to take it off my tab quickly without any questions and asked me to try again next time. The BanMi sandwich and their Spicy Pho ( P9 ) is great and a must try

The pho was delish!! Lots of meat, perfect amount of noodles, huge hearty tendon, flavor was on point. I normally get fed up after so much pho and don’t finish the noodles, this bowl hit the spot, i easily polished off everything in the bowl by the time I was done, would def return for another bowl. Recent experience 2/17/25 I’ve eaten here many times and I was really looking forward to the Vietnamese pancake as it’s one of the very few places that makes it in our area. It was 1:300 Monday— and I forgot it was Presidents’ Day-. When I walked in there were 2- 6top tables and 1-2 top table vacant. I was happy to take the two tops since there was just myself. Once I was seated, my drink was ordered and when it was delivered a couple minutes later I gave my server my order. This is one of the few places I have found that makes Vietnamese pancake, and it’s always been very good when I’ve had it in the past. It’s also what I chose to order Monday. The only difference was I tried the combination which by description would contain several different proteins After 15 minutes, I wondered if maybe my order had been lost and I only saw three total servers, tried to make eye contact with mine but failed. About five minutes later he delivered my meal. I’ve never waited over 20 minutes for anything. I have ordered there in the past so I was pretty surprised. He did apologize for the long. Wait which I appreciate it. The pancake itself was stuffed overflowing, and I looked forward to diving in. The interior of the pancake was chuck full of bean sprouts, but was sorely lacking in the promised combination protein. I found a few very small pieces of chopped chicken and a couple pieces of shrimp this was Not up to par with my expectations and also was not what I experienced in the past here. I’ve always enjoyed the lemonade as it’s homemade and it was OK, but it was so overpowered this time with basil that it almost tasted a little bitter, so that was disappointing too. The pancake also was quite wet on the interior. I actually wondered if maybe part of the delay was that the chef did not know how to make it. I’m honestly not sure what happened, but I was very disappointed in my lunch and eat only about a quarter of it. I begin to look around to see if I could catch a server to bring me a box and my bill. I was lucky to catch one of the servers who I motion and mouth. I needed a box and she brought me one along with my bill It was interesting to note that almost all the patrons that were already in the restaurant when I arrived, checked out pretty much at the same time and the place looked empty for about five minutes when as if on queue, several groups arrived and filled the tables back up. I felt like it was a lot for by that time only two servers who were taking care of probably 20 tables. I’m not going to give up on them because this is the only poor meal I’ve had in the numerous times I’ve dined here but something was definitely off.

This place is marvelous! You can get a warm and delicious plate of Pho or any other variety from the menu on time, with a simple and comfy atmosphere, clean and convenient since it is so close to stores, medical offices and cinema. My 2 toddlers also love the food here. Tables are tiny, though, but there's room enough inside the restaurant, and it has a patio, too.

My wife and I come here regularly for their exceptional noodles. I'm partial to the soft egg noodles. They are made fresh, come out piping hot, and arrive to our table with a smile. We've had the same 3 servers here for years. It's nice seeing the same faces and they often know what we want to order before we do. They are pleasant, prompt and very efficient with drink refills and anything else we need. They are so accommodating I would ask them to help me rob a bank if that's something I ever decide to do. I don't think that's the case anywhere else we go out to eat. The noodles are the real star of the show here and the Pho is out-of-this-world fantastic! They have lots of other great dishes too. My wife loves the lemon grass chicken and the barbecue pork fried rice. The food comes out quickly, hot and consistently fantastic every time we go.

the BEST Bun Bo Hue ive ever had! Their pho is great too but pls if you have not tried their BBH, i recommend you to give it a shot!!! their portions are generous, food is piping hot when served! staff is always friendly and he even know my order by now 😂 these pictures are all from different time bc i regularly come to eat&take out! i have ate countless times but thought i would finally leave a review. 1000/10 my fav Vietnamese restaurant 🫶🏻

Decent food, great service, nice atmosphere, ok value. Limited options for vegetarians. Slightly more expensive than we expected. Nearly $90 for 4 entrees with no drinks with tips. Parking nearby can be a challenge on weekends. Noodle dishes tasted better than the curry. Fresh veggies was a nice touch across all dishes.

I was in Cedar park and decided try this Viennese restaurant. Pho chicken was good. The only complaint was they did not give me a much chicken for the price $17 I’ll have to ask for extra chicken next time. Which I should not have to do that. Service was good. Price was on the high side for chicken Pho. Very little chicken in the soup. This is the reason for the 3 stars

Updated: Visited April 3. Big difference. I had chicken bun, the lady has a rice dish. Both had the completely dried out and tasteless chicken. The chicken should not have been served given the reputation of this restaurant. Awkward moment. The lady would not let me return the food.... Delicious. Good presentation. Great value. Food was authentic and clean. We had two types of Bun and a crepe. All plates were clean when we left.

This place is the reason you should NEVER tip on take-out until you get your food. (Actually, tipping on take-out was unheard of until a few years ago. Tips are for services rendered, by waitstaff, who recommend dishes, refill your water, and generally care for you during your meal. This is a scam. You're tipping the owners, not waitstaff.) This place has screwed up my order twice now, and this time they packed the bag so poorly that sauce was leaking out of the bag on my walk from their front door to my car, and it leaked all over my car floor, even though I carried the bag exactly as they handed it to me. The Banh Xeo was good, the beef lemongrass used very poor quality meat. This was the 4th and last time I will ever get food from Faux Thanh Nhi. And no, I didn't make a mistake with the spelling.

Pho Thanh Nhi is located in an upscale strip mall in Cedar Park which should be your first clue as to what the food will cost. The A2 is pretty standard across Vietnamese restaurants. This one was a thin roll, with one sad strip of bbq pork and literally half a shrimp sharing the inside of a rice paper wrap with two bits of rice noodle. $6.25. Pho comes in one standard size for $15.50. Again, not a lot in the bowl when it comes to ingredients. Two meatballs and some eye round. Broth was so-so. Service is basic. Seated, order taken, food delivered. Nothing in between.
