Mi Casita Chester Reviews
Come here many times, from out of town. Large portions of authentic Mexican cuisine. I buy the 2 or 3 piece combinations. Chips and salsa are often on the table when we get there. I like the shredded beef here. I also like the Masa on the Tamales a lot too. They are open in October too, when many places are closed for Winter. In short, if you are looking for a good meal that sticks to your ribs, then give this place a try! Update. The Chili Verde is good; the sauce is nice (not very spicy), big portions, not dry, but soft and juicy. Corn tortillas are great. However they stick together, so when you get 4, it ends up being 2 thick ones. Bean and Cheese burrito hits the spot. They gave me enough food for 3 people tonight.
It’s great. I got the relleno, enchilada and tamale combo. My wife got the cheese enchiladas plate and we got margaritas. It’s what you’d expect, in a good way. Nice sauces, good meat. Enjoy (The photo is after we demolished our food)
Quite Good food. Friendly service although the one waitress seemed a bit overloaded the day we were there. Has a nice atmosphere inside. It was full when we ate. As seen from the photo, doesn't look impressive from the outside, but I would definitely eat there again.
Always delicious Mexican food resteraunt! Very clean family run. Love the carnitas and chips and salsa.

Got Enchiladas to go. Fast service, good price, great taste!
Great little place, hidden on cheaters main Street behind a huge pine tree. Small perfect size and excellent customer service! We ordered to pick up. The service was spot on! Ordered the carne asada burrito with rice and beans! Huge and delicious! Also the 2 carne asada tacos which were authentic and loaded with meat! The way you expect it to be! Salad and chips and pico de Gallo for the win! Great job folks $35 for 2!
They great food and lots of choices. The service is fast and the food is amazing.
I had steak, prawns, and salad. It was a fantastic meal. Steak was tasty and done as I asked.
We had the Carnitas and a Carne asada burrito, they were delicious and the portions are large we couldn't finish, the Margarita's are good too. I would definitely recommend this place.
This is absolutely the most delicious and huge burrito I've ever eaten. The chili Verde burrito is a wet burrito served with chips and salsa and topped with cheddar cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. Sitting at 12 inches long 4 inches wide and almost 2 inches tall! Come hungry for this one. I'll be back here for sure!
We had chicken fajitas and it was wonderful! I love their hot salsa and chips! Service with a smile

The only Mexican restaurant in Chester. Festive interior, quick service, friendly staff. I ordered an enchilada with green sauce and it was slightly bland.

Service is always great food is always delicious, but a little more on the pricey side. Expect to pay 20-30 per person with meal and drink
Burrito was huge! Strawberry margarita was delicious too!

Had the shrimp fajitas, side of rice and beans. Also two shrimp and beer battered fish tacos. Food was okay. Not spicy and lacked flavors so please ask for hot sauce if you like it.
My taco salad was delicious and I asked for no guac. and my brother wanted it...only I was charged $4.95 for it because it came on the side..Thought it was strange...

I always order the shrimp tacos, but today they lacked flavor and tasted like fishy. If shrimp tastes like fish, it's old. It should taste like the ocean. IDK if they got a new cook, but it wasn't that good. I even left half a taco because it sucked. ☹️
Great little spot. Amazing service. But the food was only okay. I ordered a burrito and it was not bad at all. Just not great. It also cost me 20$ very expensive, but that could just be the area. The family who runs it are all very very nice.

What a disappointment. I ordered a cheese enchilada, and a carne asada taco, and a side of beans with extra cheese, ala carte. My husband ordered the chicken burrito. I make scratch made enchiladas at home, including cooking down my own sauce. So I know a thing or two about them. Good gawd, the cheese enchilada was horrible. The sauce was greasy and lacked flavor. It was like someone took a hunk of cheese wrapped a corn tortilla around it, and nuked it then dumped some canned sauce on top. It was horrible and the corn tortilla was not swollen from absorbing sauce, like when you bake them proper. It was not round and full, but flat, again like it was prepackaged or pre-prepared or frozen. I have tacos all up and down California, and on many trips to Baja, including driving halfway down it for our honeymoon. The taco was inedible, because it was just chopped up, very dry, fried beef. No seasoning, no saucy, no nothing but dry meat in a dry tortilla with dry (or very fresh) onions and cilantro. It was just a carne taco, there was no asada at all. Total disappointment. My husband's chicken burrito was bleh. He said the chicken was "weird," it looked like it was boiled to me. Again, no nuance. Just meat, cheese and beans. The worst burrito ever. And the salsa that came with the chips was like diced tomatoes straight out of the can. It literally tasted like uncooked, canned tomatoes. Just gross. There was a small container of what looked to be homemade salsa that came with my taco, and it was burn-your-face-off hot. My husband loves very hot things, so I have him that and it slightly improved his burrito, but I could not eat it. I love sriracha and other medium spicy things and jalapenos, but that was like it had Scotch bonnet or ghost pepper in it. We threw away most our food, so that is definitely not a good deal, and had to have an evening snack because we were still hungry. After watching season after season of Ramsey fixing restaurants, what they need to do is scale down their menu, cook food fresh and do 10 things excellently. It's obvious they are trying to take all the work out of managing a large menu, but so goes the flavor and quality too when you do that. Unless you just need subsistence, I'd skip it.
Stopped here omw home. I ordered a carne asada burrito. It was $18.75 plus tax. The thing was so massive I was excited. Let me tell you it was 80% rice 10% beans and 10% meat. I could have made a bean and rice burrito myself for $5. I wanted protein after a long day of hiking. Wouldn't recommend.

Took 40 minutes for our drinks (water and coffee) to show up, young waitress was standing around. Kitchen staff was coming out serving what looked like friends and family. Can’t say anything about the food as we didn’t stay to get it. The older waitress looked like she was doing her best
