This restaurant primarily serves lunches; reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. The food is fresh and made with local ingredients. Both the first and second courses, and the desserts are excellent. The gnocchi, which have a different name here, melt in your mouth. The staff is mostly young and always friendly. The prices are truly affordable.

Cute bar just before the old town and a great spot to enjoy a coffee before hiking and a beer afterwards! The only issue was their card machine was not working and I had no Euros. Fortunately the staff was very kind and accepted my 20 USD for the bill of 10 Euros.

Il personale del locale è gentilissimo ed accogliente. Un pomeriggio mi sono "rifugiata" lì perché un bellissimo cane di taglia grande, buono, River, si era "innamorato"della mia cagnolina ed io che ho anche un altro cane, non riuscivo a gestirli. Tornerò sicuramente a mangiare lì, peraltro mi hanno detto che è top.

Went today for lunch. Despite the crowds, the staff were always helpful and very kind. It's always a good idea to make a reservation; I saw many people asking if they could eat, but today, without a reservation, it was difficult to find a table for more than four people. The food is very good and the prices are fair. Highly recommended. If you arrive after 2 pm, there's also a bar that makes sandwiches.

Stop for a coffee before climbing the Agnello hill. The bar in the center of Chianale was so crowded that there were no more seats for lunch; maybe next time. Coffee and beer at the counter. The staff was young and fast. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest, probably due to the mid-August traffic.

I've visited several times, most recently for the 2022 Agnellotreffen, and I can once again leave a positive review, highlighting the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The veranda dining area with mountain views is delightful. Parking in front of the restaurant is very convenient.

It's fortunate to be at the entrance to town and close to the parking lot. The sign hints at the true nature of this place: a bar that closes during restaurant hours. With more people than it can handle, it ends up sloppily managing both the customers sitting at the table, monitored closely for clearance, and those lingering in line, pressed up against those eating. The mixed antipasto platter is minimal, but not overpriced. The chocolate bunet is good, but in these parts, with local products, expectations are different. A set menu for everyone would be much better.

We had lunch at this bar on a Sunday in July. When ordering, I asked if it was possible to have polenta concia with a spoonful of sausage, and I received a rude response from the waitress, who said, "If the polenta is concia, it doesn't have sausage." When all it took was a spoonful of sausage. After making the request, we ordered a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses, which was good overall, and three polenta dishes with game. When the polenta dishes arrived, we noticed that our plates contained practically nothing but polenta and very little game. A short time later, the same dish was served to the next table, with more balanced and generous portions. The service was inattentive and rushed.

Good morning, We hadn't been to this place for a year, and I have to say the experience was very disappointing. We walked there at 12:00 from Pontechianale with the intention of having an aperitif. We ordered two crodini and two drinks. We asked if it was possible to have a platter and were told NO in a very arrogant tone. We asked for focaccia and another NO. We asked to have the two sandwiches, the only çosa available, cut into 4 pieces to share, and even then it was very difficult: the tray was dirty, no plates, we used the bag to put them down. To our complaints, the response was: "This is the only bar in town, run by an unfriendly kid, I think he was only 14, and I think he's the owner's son!" Now I end up with a bill of 24 euros! This place is worth zero, even less. Look elsewhere.

We stopped by this morning around 11:30 for two focaccias to go... The staff was perhaps a little too young and unprepared. We waited 20 minutes for two pre-made focaccias, fresh from the fridge (you can't get them hot). No takeaway bag or pouch, and all this for the modest price of €10.00. P.S. The choice was between prosciutto and toma or speck and toma. Sorry, but I don't recommend it.
