While vacationing in Chiapas, I was recommended this restaurant for its seafood. The facilities are spacious, comfortable, and clean, with an open kitchen, which inspires confidence. The service is very friendly and prompt. I'm a fan of seafood soups, although in Mexico they are very different from those in Colombia, and I was phenomenally surprised by the culinary experience. I can assure you it's the "best seafood soup" I've ever had in my life; I highly recommend it. I also tried the bonefish sausage, the bacon-wrapped shrimp, the fish fillet, and more. Adding to this gastronomic experience was a bohemian atmosphere with live music and, of course, some delicious, ice-cold Ambar beers. When I return to Chiapas, one of my stops will definitely be this excellent restaurant, run and operated by a family group.

No estuve precisamente ahí, estuve a lado, un lugar con un muy rico taco de bistec y una hamburguesa muy aceptable, precios buenos, de 5 a 12 de la noche, recomendado.

It is well known that when you eat out it is because you are willing to spend, but there are exceptions. It is a place with very basic dishes, nothing special that caught my attention, but something that I definitely did not like was when it was time to pay for the service (very high for such a place) since the waiter did not give me the bill and only showed me the total, hiding the list of what I consumed (obviously you should ask for the receipt to verify). This is something you do not have to ask for because they should leave the bill on the table for you to review for yourself, but that did not happen. It was something in bad taste in my opinion. But if you are going to eat there because you are coming back from a trip, it is better to wait a little longer and look for another place with better prepared dishes and above all, that the bill is put in your hands and not in the waiter's.

A place located on the way to the Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport, Chiapas, Mexico. A single beer costs $55 with poor-quality snacks: watery shrimp broth and pig's feet. Compared to other botaneros, a single beer with shrimp broth and a tray of six snacks costs around $45. Airport prices include peanuts. If you have no other option and accidentally end up here, I suggest ordering a bucket of six beers and a la carte snacks. It's much cheaper. Money isn't a problem. The problem is the price for what they serve. It's not a super-luxury place. My mistake was not asking first. I'd been to this place before, and the beer came with a tray of five snacks and shrimp broth.
