Ristorante Paganini Chiavari Reviews
The spaghetti al mare was truly delicious, and the panna cotta frutti di bosco was perfect! With fresh fruit and a delicious sauce. It was remarkable that the waiter walked alone, didn't write down any orders, and that everyone got what they wanted! Kudos! What hard workers there! I thought it was a real experience. We'll definitely be back.
For me, Chiavari means "Paganini." I've been going to this restaurant since I was little, and the quality has remained the same over time. Appetizers, first courses, second courses, and fried dishes: everything is exceptional and authentic. A peaceful and tranquil atmosphere where you feel right at home.
Super!
I stumbled upon the Paganini Restaurant in Chiavari by chance and in a hurry, but I was happy to stay. The cuisine is prepared with love and attention to detail. The family-style cuisine doesn't mean it's limited in variety. On the contrary, it's highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing lunch and Italian values in food, such as tradition, passion, and culture. The restaurant is located in the easternmost part of Chiavari, near the Entella River. Their menu, like at home, can be expanded and varied according to the customer's wishes, even at the last minute, based on what the market and the seasons have to offer. Today was a rush, even though I truly enjoyed everything. I plan to return with the family and take more time to try more. Anyway, thanks for your patience. Everything was very good. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Food is one of the best I have ever had in Italy . Try Italian Frito (cheese, vegetables, pork), also risotto del mare. Stayed in Chiavari 4 days, went twice. Great staff
Top!
Very charming with incredibly good food, although it doesn’t seem at first sight. The owner is super nice and very ambitious and passionate to fulfil the guests needs. The food is simply amazing. A big recommendation, even if it’s not at the fancy places of Chiavari.
A simple and authentic restaurant. It has a family atmosphere and home-cooked food. It's the ideal place to try some Ligurian specialties, as well as other dishes, such as the Milanese cutlet or seafood-based first and second courses. If the restaurant is busy, you may have to wait a little longer, but it's definitely worth the wait! The dishes are delicious, especially the lasagna with pesto or ragù and the Italian-style fritto misto.
Food great at the right price. Service very good. Ambiance ok.
A classic Genoese restaurant serving traditional dishes. The ravioli with meat sauce were delicious; I'll definitely return. The pansoti in walnut sauce was also delicious! The staff were kind and friendly, and the service was quick; I didn't have to wait long between courses. I ate inside; in previous years, they also had an outdoor terrace. You can pay by card.
Apparently, it's an institution among locals for stuffed pasta. We went on a Saturday evening in mid-January, without a reservation, and we found a table. The place is clean. It was half empty, but we waited an hour for our first course. The Genoese minestrone was good, and the homemade ravioli with meat sauce were delicious. After 15 days, we returned. Service was faster. Pansotti in walnut sauce were delicious and plentiful. Seafood spaghetti was above average for local restaurants.
Se mange sempre ben!
Nice trattoria
Delicious dishes. We ordered fried and grilled fish, fries, and two desserts. The portions weren't exactly generous, but everything was delicious and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely slow, and it wasn't possible to leave two people (the girl was brilliant!) to set up the tables, welcome and direct customers, clear the tables, take orders, serve, and, last but not least...cashier! I sincerely hope she gets paid her dues. All this on a day with a thousand-year-old fair just a few meters away, so it was expected to be packed! An hour and a half wait from when we sat down to when they started serving us was way too long. Of course, something you only see in Liguria, the bread didn't arrive until halfway through lunch—just in case you consume too much while waiting. I highly recommend it because the food is truly delicious, but perhaps it's better to go during the week or on days when you're sure you won't find more than three or four tables occupied.
I went to the kitchen to ask anybody to turn on the air conditioner and saw the chef with a fork eating off of a plate then bringing it out to serve. Plus, this is the warmest restaurant we have vis…
Been here a few time over the years and is simply the best example of a family run restaurant you are going to find, simple food done brilliantly
