Aca Taco Chico Reviews
Service was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly. The Asada mini tacos were packed with flavor. And the chocolate churro was the best I've had.
This local gem is one of our favorite spots! The Al Pastor burrito is our favorite! My boyfriend has been coming to Aco Taco since 2010, and we are still enjoying their food! The staff and food are 10/10, can't beat it! ✨️❤️🌯🌮❤️✨️
First time here. I walked in and immediately the ladies were kind and let me sample fresh prepared ingredients. Got an asada burrito and will 100% COME BACK. They took care of me. Food was delicious!
Always great food. Quick service.
Burrito is super fire and they're open until 3am or later.
Always tastes amazing, great portion sizes, very friendly staff and a welcoming environment
Consistency delicious everytime I visit for over 25 years! Great value and quality food.
Some of the best tacos I've had in my life. Before I even got to sit down my food was already done! The service workers were so kind. I thanked them after I ate and they were stoked. 100% would recommend this place.
First time dining here and it was great! Loved the food! Got chicken nachos and the chicken was seasoned well!! my kids had the asada quesadillas and again was seasoned well!! Im from out of town and will definitely come back again 👍🏼
Best burrito I’ve ever had hands down. I’ve had tons of spots from Stockton all the way up to Redding and nothing compares to the flavor of this spot! Update: went back for round 2 to see if they had good consistency. Let’s just say my burrito was no where near as good as last time … was pretty sad cuz I tho I was onto something
Burritos here are upper division. Elite level. The Al pastor and chicken at Aca Taco are unique and executed perfectly. Al pastor caramelizes and the chicken has depth and warmth on a different level than the other places. They’ve had a very consistent staff which means a consistent product. The burritos are always rolled perfectly and aren’t messy to eat. I’ve had a few thousand burritos from here and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been dissatisfied.
I gave a 4 star overall because I like the food, service and atmosphere but I feel like I walk in there expecting something on the menu and then I am being asked if I want what I thought was already included in the burrito and it turns out that they cost more. I would recommend more clarification on what exactly is provided and what the other items being added cost ahead of time so that I'm not staring at a screen wondering what is happening. Other than that, Aca Taco is great with food, service and atmosphere.
I got 2 asada and 2 al pastor, both the meat was over cooked and dry. My daughter got the chicken enchiladas and they were pretty good. For the price of the food, I wish it was better.
Went there twice in a week, same results. I was shocked when I got an asada burrito that had little meat and coast $16. Their spicy sauce is like a mild taco bell sauce. I used to love their food but I doubt I will be back.
Ok, I know this is a chain restaurant, and yes...I'm even aware that it has multiple awards for "Best Burrito" and "Best Taco", but unfortunately I can't get behind it. My wife and I went in on Memorial Day for an early dinner, and left less-than satisfied. Not for the food or the taste, but for the Nickel and Dime way you get charged for EVERYTHING you may want in or on your food. The Burrito was full and big enough, as was the quesadilla, but while other establishments include the routine ingredients in their price or specialty items, Aca Taco charges for each add-on (as stated on the receipt). The salsas look like they come out of a jar/bottle/jug...and taste, well...bland. Was the Colorado Pork juicy and tender, with just the right spice kick? YEP!! Was the Beef tender as well...YES! But was the addition of $3 for ingredients that come standard in other businesses worth it. NO...I can not recommend this place when there are FAR BETTER restaurants in Chico to eat at, and vote for in the upcoming "Best of Chico" category (Lokking at YOU, Raliberto's). Want to really indulge...eat there and really enjoy).
I got here and there was someone in line so I used the kiosk to put my order in and after I finished 5 people came in and ordered and they all got there food before me and 1 burrito and a Jamaica came out to 22 bucks yeah that's crazy definitely not worth 22 dollars
Boy, they put some nasty meat in their burritos. $13 for a burrito and I just had to walk out I was so pissed off it was so nasty. Didn’t even ask for a refund because I didn’t wanna fight with him but absolutely disgusting. I used to go here 20 years ago. It was so much better. What the hell are you sourcing your chicken from? It tasted like rotisserie chicken
