Tip: The drive-thru can be slower than going inside. Consider substituting sides like toast for coleslaw. Ask for less salt on the fries if you are sensitive to salt.

Raising Cane's Chico Reviews
The girl at the register was fantastic help us out with my family's order. I would recommend eating here if you like chicken. Also there Cain sauce is great. Fries where on point and not salted down like most places.
During the sneak peak soft opening for friends and families of employees, we ordered 3 of The Box Combos. The tenders were juicey, and the fries were hot, and crispy. The canes sauce was great. The bread was well buttered and cooked golden brown delicious. Slaw had a nice crunch to it and the container was well packed. Finally, the house made lemonade was tart and flavorful. I recommend a half cut lemonade with tea! Overall, the food was fresh and delicious.
I finally got a chance to check out Raising Cane’s in Chico, and I gotta say—it’s a whole experience. If you’re looking for a quiet sit-down meal, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you like fast service, crispy chicken, and a high-energy vibe, you’ll probably love it. First Impressions: It’s Loud, But It Works The first thing I noticed walking in? The noise. Between the background music, the crew calling out orders, and customers chatting, the place is bustling. But weirdly enough, it works. Even though it sounds chaotic, the team has a system down. Orders are being called, food is flying out fast, and everyone’s moving like they know exactly what they’re doing. Oh, and then there’s the disco balls. Yes, you read that right—three disco balls hanging from the ceiling. It kind of gives the place a fun, nightclub feel, which adds to the whole energetic atmosphere. The Food: Simple, Fresh, and Filling I went with the Three Finger Combo, which comes with: ✔️ Three crispy, golden-brown chicken fingers ✔️ A side of crinkle-cut fries ✔️ A buttery slice of Texas toast ✔️ Cane’s signature dipping sauce ✔️ A drink The chicken? Hot, fresh, and not dry at all. You get solid white meat with a nice crunch on the outside. The Cane’s Sauce? Definitely the star—it’s got that tangy, slightly peppery kick that just works. And between the chicken, fries, toast, and drink, you’re definitely leaving full. For $11–$12, I’d say you’re getting your money’s worth. Service: Fast & Efficient One thing Raising Cane’s does really well? Speed. They even have people outside taking orders to keep the drive-thru moving. And when they’re not serving food, the crew is constantly cleaning tables—not just wiping them down but actually disinfecting them, which is nice to see. A Nice Bonus: Discounts & EV Charging One thing that really stood out to me? They offer a senior and military discount. With prices going up everywhere, it’s cool to see a place still showing some appreciation for seniors and veterans. Another surprise—Blink charging stations outside for electric vehicles. That’s a smart move, making it easy for EV drivers to grab a meal while charging up. Final Thoughts Raising Cane’s is one of those high-energy, fast-paced spots that’s probably going to be a hit, especially with younger crowds. It’s loud, but fun, and the food is fresh, simple, and satisfying. If you’re looking for a quiet meal, this ain’t it—but if you want fast service, good chicken, and a lively vibe, it’s definitely worth checking out. By the way, I’m 70 years old, So young is anyone one under 70😂
Used the drive thru, I like how there’s someone standing there, instead of talking to the machine, the guy was nice, I got the 6 piece Caniac Box with extra Cole slaw instead of the bread, it was good, the chicken was soft, not like crazy greasy and overcooked, the fries were ok and the Cole slaw was good, especially their cane sauce. I’d come back again.
For fast food this was really good! Chicken was savory and not too crispy. I really enjoyed the Cane's Sauce.
DELICIOUS, I've gone to other canes but this was was by FAR the best!! Prices are high for fried chicken but if you're looking for a treat this is the place to go :)

From the south and know what canes is supposed to be. Wasn't disappointed. Abby was truly wonderful. Thanks for the reminder what good food and great customer service is supposed to be ❤️
We entered into the fairly new Cane's in Chico. Ca. right before the lunch rush. One associate recognized our presence at the counter and told us they would be right with us. Another young lady (with a bright and shiny face) greeted us and took our order promptly (her name was Madeira). In addition, answering a few questions about extra sauce and sweet tea, she was extremely genuine 👍 Our combo box came out within 5 minutes ( 4 piece chic, plenty of hot crinkle cut fries, fresh warm toast & creamy coleslaw) (and of course, extra Cane's sauce). The chicken was hot, crispy and moist (excellent)!!! Overall a great expierence ~ Note on 4-star rating (Atmosphere): We originally were going to eat inside, however there were a few empty tables that needed to wiped down (from previous diners) so we moved outside to find a clean table. And we were hoping for a little less volume on the house music, which was a little loud for our taste. Management, stay on it - your almost there. We will be back ~

Other worldly chicken... stopped here on way to a concert and wow... words can't even describe how perfect the chicken is here so juicy and taste! definitely be stopping there again if I happen to be passing through that way!
Great fast service very welcome employees. Would have been five stars but the chicken had too much grease and didn’t let the breading soaks up the breading. Too much salt on the fries but still super good have to ask for less salt. Sauce is a must try.
Pluses+ Pick up extremely smooth. In and Out, sort of speak. Pay in the app, minutes later, voila! Staff in general fully committed to do a good job. Well prepared for the anticipated crowd. 4.5 Stars. Minuses~food was not above expectations. Fries very small size, not a hint of great fries, 2.5 Stars. Cole Slaw, besides the good thing of not being overly sweet, did not distinguish itself beyond average, 3.3 Stars. Texas Toast, more like Jr. size, which contradicts past shows in far location. Edible and good addition, but half the size? 3 Stars. Chicken, the main contender, tasty overall. 50% soft, 50% more chewy without suggesting past the point of no return, box combo included 4 pieces ($13.39), really supposed to be better and pieces bigger, perhaps? 3.4 Stars. Sodas carbonated, 4.2 Stars. Sauce thousand island on salty twist, 3 Stars. Obviously not addictive enough for a quick return. 3.3 Stars.

Love the food and the value for the money. Hate the music, can't have a conversation at all it is soooooid!!! Asking them to turn it down doesn't work. Better in the summer when you can eat outside
Raising Canes is amazing. I get the Caniac with extra toast in place of slaw and make a chicken sandwich to dip into their sauce. I order a whole soda cup of sauce. People dont understand how to order here, its not your typical chicken place like KFC or Popeyes and that's why I love it. Yuba City's location is also amazing, but I know in time, Chico will get it under wraps. Props to the owner for taking this initiative. Bryan D.
Solid chicken for an ok price, I enjoy getting the chicken box but the price for what you get I feel isn't aligned. Amazing lemonade and sause but the extra charge on a second sause on the four box isn't my favorite.
This is a newer fried chicken fast food for Chico. They are very quick and provide consistent service and food. Menu is very limited which makes them fast. Tasty fried chicken, French fries, coleslaw and toast. They will let you substitute sides. We trade out the today for another coleslaw. I've always walked in and dined there. I prefer outside so the music isn't so loud. Parking is plentiful and two lanes in the drive thru.

I’ve been twice now inside is a lot faster than the drive-thru. The chicken is just OK. The bread gets too soggy, but the sauce is awesome. Staff inside are pretty friendly. I’m not local, but I might stop by every once in a while when I’m passing through.
The lobby is roomy. It has music playing, too loud. Good temperature. Good seating. Nice and bright. They have like 20 spaces for EV parking, handicap parking and pickup parking. It's a little stupid. You have to parking a little further away and walk past tons of empty spaces. The lobby is nice, except for this one random Spanish speaking lady in the back, screaming out something in Spanish, Hella loud, randomly. Its VERY annoying and disruptive. I wanna say the food sucked. The CHICKEN didnt. Almost EVERYTHING else did. I got a 3 chicken finger meal. It cost me $12.70. It came with a super thick, dry, piece of "texas" toast. Not sure why. There was nothing juicy to sop up with the toast. There was no butter or anything to go with the toast. Just a big, thick, dry piece of bread to go with your dry fries. Very strange. The fries were barely crisp, thin and blatantly from frozen. When you bite into them, they have a slight crisp to them and then they have a powdery finish. The chicken fingers were actually very good. Not worth the price. Its like a 5 dollar meal for nearly 3 times the value. I'll be surprised if this place is still open in two years. In the picture, I ate the chicken. The rest is left.

This will be my first and last visit here. I saw ahead of time that fries come with the meals, so I called the listed number to see if they have mayo because I don't eat fries without it. No one answered. So I went into the restaurant and the woman at the counter told me they don't have mayo. So I left, went to Winco across the street and bought mayo. I came back with the mayo in hand and a different woman was at the counter. She said, "uh, we have mayo packets." Wow. I guess the first woman lied to me because she didn't want me to eat there? Whatever. I'm ordering this super expensive chicken and the woman asks me if I want extra sauce. Who doesn't want extra sauce? So I say yes, and I see the subtotal go up several extra dollars. I've never had the sauce. It's called "cane's sauce." It doesn't exactly tell you what's going on, right? So why would I pay several dollars extra for sauce when I have no idea what it tastes like or how much sauce I'm getting to know if I'll need more or not? I tell her to forget the extra sauce. I get the food and it comes with all this crap you don't want, which is probably why it is so extremely pricey (about $15 with tax for each meal) like toast and coleslaw. Why would I want some room temperature toast with nothing to put on it? Anyway, if you don't want a full sugar drink, your only options are unsweet tea and diet coke. ugh. I got a full sugar dr. pepper that always feels like diabetic shock. I took two sips to wash down the chicken and the rest was just a waste. Again, you're paying for crap you don't want. The chicken was awful. Between the breading and chicken is a layer of fat/sinew, so you can't ever bite into the chicken without chomping down on this inedible layer of ick. So then you have to pull the ick out of your mouth and physically separate the edible parts from the inedible parts. Fun. The chicken is so greasy that the breading doesn't stay on, so you dip it in the sauce and your tender is left in the sauce while your hands hold only greasy breading. The sauce you get is tiny (see picture). it runs out after two tenders, so you'll definitely need more, which means the meal is more expensive than advertised. The fries were more salt than fry. I had to take a napkin to each fry and desalinate it as best I could before I could choke them down. I didn't eat the toast. Who wants plain, dry toast? It just feels like you're paying for stuff no one wants. Then, when you're done, there are no wet naps, and napkins only do so much when your hands are so incredibly greasy. So I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, but it requires a code. Great. Now I'm waiting in line again just to use the bathroom. Everything sucks about this place but the music. We live in times when it seems like everywhere is blasting just the worst music possible. it's usually country which, yeah, I'd rather stab my ears with knives than listen to modern country "music." This place, though, had some oldies- Dire Straits, Rush, and Deep Purple played while I was in there. Rock on. So at least it wasn't all incredibly awful. Why wouldn't you just go to KFC across the parking lot? It's ten times better in quality, cost, flavor, and options. It just seems like this place doesn't need to exist. I won't ever eat here again.

This is the worst food I have ever had. It is 3 dollar tree chicken tenders between two buns. Not just any buns mind you, we are talking the lowest quality buns imaginable. You know those burger buns you got from winco that you dropped in the parking lot and were hit by a bus full of Norwegian plumers? Those are better. In a, last ditch, desperate attempt to mask the Surströmming like flavor, and the price, they drown these "sandwiches" in Cane Sauce - it's not that great. Save yourself money and heartache and make this at home or drive to Redding for Chick-fil-A. We need a savior from this karaoke chicken. Chick-fil-A, hear our cries as we long for chicken that is moist and fries that are crispy. Please, hurry to Chico CA. With Chick-fil-A, there is still hope.
This is our first AND LAST time coming here. The ketchup dispenser was not working and the lady in the front (assuming the manager because she was going to every station) did not want to give us ketchup packets when we went up to ask. The tables were also dirty which we had to clean on our own. The chicken was raw after we asked for it extra crispy. Choose wisely when choosing which canes to go to. (YUBA CITY is the best location to go to).
Ordered box combo no fries extra cole slaw but somehow they forgot the bread.. always a good time finding out 20min later when u get home they forgot something... yes i should of checked but there job is to ensure someone gets what they ordered and they obviously cant
