NY Pizzeria Chula Vista Reviews
A classic New York style slices on Hamilton Avenue hit the spot. Thin, foldable crust with a crisp bite, balanced sauce, and generous cheese. Fast service, fair prices, and late hours make it perfect for quick lunches or post-night cravings in Palo Alto with friendly local vibes.
I had no clue there was halal pizza in Palo Alto but there is! I got two King Kong slices with halal beef pepperoni, jalapenos and ricotta cheese and it was great! Staff is very friendly and nice too! I got too excited and forgot to take a photo before I ate but ranch on pizza is a must
Amazing staff!! Me and my friends came in here, the staff were very polite and they gave us free cheesy bread although I wasn't able to tip. Pizza was great, the cheese stretch was amazing, tables were clean, condiments and hand sanitizer were all there. Staff gave us tape to tape our to-go boxes up.
Craving some New York pizza while in the area led me to this gem. Love that they have slices for an easy one-person meal. Best is that the slice is made fresh, not the typical reheated ones behind the glass. I don’t mind the short wait for a piping hot slice without cold spots. Got the Hawaiian with black olives. Super delicious. Sauce is much more flavorful than typical. Perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend and will return when in the area.
This might just be the best pizza in the Bay Area—possibly even all of California. Every bite is bursting with freshness, from the perfectly crisp crust to the rich, savory toppings. The balance of cheese is spot-on, delivering that ideal gooey texture without overpowering the other flavors. The beef pepperoni deserves a special mention—it’s absolutely top-tier, offering a bold, smoky flavor that sets it apart from any other pizza I’ve tried. The ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in preparation is clear. This is a 10/10 experience that I’d recommend to anyone who loves pizza done right. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a must-try!
Tony and crew are very nice and great pizza
Everything was spot on. Now, I’ll enjoy the food coma.
PHOTO LATE IS WAS SO GOOOD I have enjoyed this placed 3x now and every time was spot on. This last time I ask for my wings to be dry and sauce on the side. This place did exactly that unlike most who have nasty already buffalo wings. The wings are huge in size compared to most places as well. Sorry for the late photo it was really good. The bbq calzone is bomb. The sandwiches are also recommended.

Five stars across the board. I eat here for dinner often and it's always excellent: great food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Favorites include the Greek Style Pizza, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Buffalo Wings, BBQ Chicken Calzone and Pepperoni Slices. Big plus for vegetarians (clearly labeled options) and halal eaters, and parking is usually easy with free street parking and a free lot nearby.
I was with some friends looking for a good pizza place when we found this hidden gem. We ordered a large pizza, Buffalo chicken wings, and jalapeño poppers. The food did not disappoint. The Buffalo wings held a delicious fresh flavor I’ve never tasted anywhere else. The jalapeño poppers were fresh and not too spicy. Finally, the pizza was filled with toppings, and fresh out the oven. Even the crush tasted crispy which is often not the case. The ranch held a flavor unique to the restaurant which me and my friends loved. Even better the staff was friendly and patient with us as new customers. They provided us with plates and extra ranch. I’ll make sure to recommend this restaurant to everyone who is looking for a good pizza place.
Shout-out to Abdullah, Billy and the gang at New York Pizza of Palo Alto!! They ALWAYS remember my go-to order--the giant slice Greek pizza with extra spinach, mushrooms and NO red onion. The service is friendly, fast and the pizza is the best in town. And it is a pleasure to do business with such a friendly group of genuinely nice guys who actually remember you and your order when you come in.
Ordered 3 pizzas from NY Pizza for a party today. I had a number of dietary restrictions and they did a great job accommodating. The pizza was delicious. Will be coming back here for future parties.
Yo whoever owns this place, come in and try the pizza. Not New York. Not bad. Not going to give a bad review, but come on. Stop tricking these tech bros. This is a 7.2 pizza max.
I’m in town for the holidays and WOW. The pizza and wings were delicious. I love pizza, and I was very impressed. I hope to come back during another visit. 🍕
I have ordered 2 times in a week with the same great experience. Both were delivery orders. Pizza was hot, perfectly balanced with toppings and great flavor. A tomato sauce that actually was flavorful! Had the pizza delivered to my work site and drivers made sure to hand it off. Unusual experience for me, someone who can find fault in almost anything. Thanks!

If you're craving authentic New York-style pizza, New York Pizza is the place to be. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the smell of freshly baked pizza. The slices are generously sized, with that perfect crispy yet chewy crust. The sauce is flavorful and the cheese is always perfectly melted. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or ordering a whole pizza, the quality is consistently amazing. The staff is friendly and quick, and I love how they keep everything so fresh and delicious. Plus, the prices are super reasonable, making it a top choice for anyone looking for great pizza without breaking the bank. Honestly, New York Pizza never disappoints—every visit is a winner!
delicious, however, i ordered thin crust. looked like hand tossed. would love to see special requests in the door dash app. didn't get my red pepper. all in all still good taste.
Solid pie here I like the pies, avoid the Calzone. The Calzone is so weird it's just a pizza crust folded in half with a thinnest possible smear of toppings, nothing like an actual Calzone that's standard in NY that is by default a huge pocket full of gooey ricotta-mozzarella mix (plus whatever toppings you add) that you'd never even think about cutting into these unmanageable slices because it'll all just ooze all over. Tempted to dock another star just for calling itself New York Pizza and not actually making New York style Calzones.
Good size. Good crust. Best New York around the area Paid 10$ for pizza and a soda

My husband, I shared the large calzone with pepperoni and mushrooms. It was good. I’ve definitely had better. The dough was kind of soft and not crispy. You get a lot of filling. You can order ahead.

I went to go try their #2 combo which is a jumbo slice of cheese pizza (two slices of pizza) with a small salad and a 12oz soda. There wasn’t a friendly welcome. Kinda stood there in front of the counter waiting for someone to take my order while some workers were just standing around with no greeting (not that it really matters but it would have been nice). Anyway, got my food and ate it. The pizza was okay. A little chewy, not fluffy and lacked some flavor from the crust. It was okay.
