Chicken Express Cisco Reviews
Love buying bag of ice from here. Its the crushed up one .
Stopped to get some food and Marissa was totally awesome! Very friendly fast and great to talk to! Will definitely recommend this place and especially this Marissa!
Simple chicken with great breading and good sides. The fried pickles are delicious with the ranch they provide.
Ordered online, picked up at the drive-thru. Gizzards and thighs great as always
Went through the drive thru and had to wait a few but I'm sure it was because I ordered Chicken Livers. They were fresh and cooked perfectly! Very friendly staff.
I love the tea, every visit I make here I always get the large sweet tea easy ice. I also enjoy the fried okra and the corn nuggets, it has become a routine to order said large sweet tea easy on the ice,
It's a chicken express. This one was clean, and the guy who took our order was confident and courteous. Our order arrived hot and promptly. My one gripe about chicken express is not exclusive to this location. The portions are half the size and almost twice the price that they were 2 years ago. Skinny little chicken tenders instead of the fat plump strips of before.
Come here every few months and it's consistently great. Workers are super friendly and their fried okra never disappoints. Better than other Chicken Expresses I've been to throughout the state.
Good food! I had a grilled chicken sandwich, very tasty. Good English and very attentive wait staff. Edit: My initial review was incorrectly attributed to Chicken Express in Cisco....rather than Chicken & Ribs in Cairo Egypt. That said, I had excellent Chicken strips at the Chicken Express on 12/3. Restaurant was clean and staff attentive. Thanks for posting a reply. My apologies for the confusion.
So yummy! I love the spicy tenders! All our food was hot and fresh. The place was clean and tidy All workers we interacted with were polite friendly, and helpful with menu questions. We brought a youth group of 20 through unannounced, but it seemed to be no problem for this crew!
I got liver AND gizzards mixed in one of their value combos. They will do that of you ask. This one is clean and the food was prepared perfectly. I crave the crisp delicious breading that is unique to chicken express restaurants. I don't go anywhere else for liver and gizzards. Their sweet tea is also perfect for my taste.
We were passing through and stopped for a quick meal. The service was great! I was so impressed with the young staff at the counter, you would have thought they were servers at a restaurant working for tips. The food was fresh and so flavorful! We all kept saying how good the gravy was. Unfortunately the chicken express in Abilene is not this good, but this stop was a very pleasant surprise!
Very average Chicken E location. There were 8 of us and several of the orders were brought out wrong. They corrected them when pointed out. Food was ok but not up to normal Chicken E standards. Won't be stopping in on future trips through this area.
Got there at 1:30 on sunday. Only 4 tables had customers, but every table was dirty and floor was also dirty. Food was good, maybe the young help need to clean quicker, they did not seem too much of a hurry to do a clean up. Thanks for the veterans discount. Outside looked great.
Time for another no BS review. I'm becoming very disappointed with this establishment. It's becoming like the local Dairy Queen when it comes to the food and service. The food is more expensive than it should be. The service is on par with DQ, it's bad. When a customer places an online order the employee should read the order. The last 3 times I've had to tell them they forgot my drinks and they screw that up. They fail to put the orders together correctly. I wish there was a Chick-fil-A nearby and maybe Chicken Express will learn from them.
This place is slow I waited almost 40 mins for a doordash and they wasn't very friendly I ended up just leaving.
CANNED BISCUITS? $36 for chicken, gravy and biscuits for 3 people. I get home and I have rock hard canned biscuits. I make my own mashed potatoes and a veg bcs the instant potatoes are inedible. I’ve done this for a few years because the chicken is good and they had good biscuits, obviously from a mix but baked fresh and hot. The blah gravy tastes like it’s from a mix. There’s no point in being overcharged like this. The chicken isn’t worth it. Done.
The owners are an awesome family but I haven't seen the owners at the restaurant in a long time which may explain the drop in food quality and less than acceptable customer service. A couple of specific experiences are as follows 1. 7 of us went there for lunch at 11:30 but they were completely out of both sweet and unsweetened teas in the self service tanks. When I told them about the problem they dumped a gallon jug of tea which was not fresh (probably made the day or days before) and was watered down with melting ice. 2. During another visit at 11:30 there were no employees present. I waited a couple of minutes and leaned my head around the corner beside the counter to see if anyone was there (at the drive-in window) only to have a young woman running to the front from the back yelling at me to stay back even though I didn't enter the employee area. I simply needed service. I told her that I had been waiting for awhile without service. I suggested she be respectful to customers. I haven't returned to the Cisco CE since. The owner family members are great, but perhaps their energy is being directed to opening or operating their new establishment located in another town. I've also read several other customer's dissatisfactions and criticisms, which should also be addressed.
