El Grifo Ciudad De México Reviews
We stopped by this tiny store and the mezcal and beer selection was just unreal. It’s definitely on my list for every Mexico City trip. Right next to Nosferatu Pizza, which is also amazing. Really fun street corner.
This spot has a incredible assortment of mezcal and craft beers and can't be missed if you're looking to pick up some quality goodies. The restaurant next door also serves drinks from this spot so you can try before you buy if you grab a pizza next door. Highly recommend this spot as a place to pick up gifts for those back home if you are looking for something Mexican to bring back!
Had a great time here. Loads of Mexican craft beers in can and bottle, and several small batch mezcals to taste in 1 oz and 2 oz pours, all available to buy ‘para llevar.’ The staff was very helpful, taking time to fulfill my specific requests and handled my awful Spanish with grace and immeasurable patience. I only wish I was hungry for the pizza from next door, which looked delicious. My tum tum is in a new and strange place after last night’s post-rave torta. (tmi? who cares) Thanks for the hospitality.
This shop truly is what it says it is, only mezcal and beer. However, I went there thinking I didn't like mezcal and the shop owner spent a significant amount of time with our group finding mezcals we actually liked! He gave us generous samples while we decided what to buy and taught us so much about mezcal. I have recommended this to all my friends that are going down to Mexico City. The shop is small and it was super busy, but he still made lots of time to help us! Incredible experience.
Very friendly vibe and service, highly recommend. There's actually a lot of seating for a place labeled as 'liquor store' on Maps. Amazing beer and mezcal selection; most craft beers are from Mexico, but you'll find a few American, Belgian and German as well. They also have a wine menu that I didn't have time to check out.
Great selection of Mezcals, friendly staff. They let us taste many a variety, we ended up buying 7 bottles. Then sat at the pizza place next door and these guys brought us delicious cold beers from microbreweries. Cool spot, check it out.
Great craft beer! I stopped drinking and wanted a good craft non alcoholic beer which I found. They only have 1 brand which is great. Hope they get more!
A small beer and mezcal shop with lots of options for those looking for local products. This is the place to get to know Mexico's best artisan beer, if that's what you're into. Also the staff is very friendly and can guide you to find something perfect for you (which is very helpful considering their overwhelming catalog).
My wife and I tried El Grifo on a recommendation from a colleague and we are glad we gave it a try. One of the best little spots for pizza in Mexico City we have tried. I had the Henri pizza and my…
Came here this week based on strong Google and TA reviews. Total letdown. Young girl running the store barely acknowledged us and offered zero help. There was no one else in the store. Based on tha…
