La Biela Ciudad De México Reviews
We ate here with family and enjoyed a nice meal with copious portions. We enjoyed the burrata salad, the Milanesa, the pasta al burro (for our son) and some delicious empanadas.
Top tier. Always.
I liked it! Traditional and good food. We ordered a Serrano ham pizza and a flank steak, and it was quite good; they cooked it perfectly! The waiters could be more attentive.
Excellent service from all the staff and the food was a 10/10, a very good place to enjoy.
Great service. Carlos Barajas is a wonderful host. Highly recommended. Amazing flavor, fair price; in our family, we call it our reliable old favorite.
It's an Argentine restaurant. They gave us a table quickly, the service was good, the food was served in an average amount of time, and everything was tasty. I recommend the meat pizza and the gravy. We also tried the tongue in green sauce, and it was very good. I think we'll return.
We were lost and starving, so we saw the place and it looked tempting. The food was very good; the grilled chicken was a real treat. The spaghetti was delicious. The desserts and coffee are highly recommended. If it hadn't been for a fight between the waiters, the experience would have been even better. Just be aware that they sell a lot of alcohol, so you might end up next to a noisy table. But the place is definitely worth a visit for the great food.
One of my favorite restaurants. Very good price performance ratio. I recommend it fully.
Super
Really good service and excellent choice of meats
You can order a mixed grill for four people and a salad; the empanadas are delicious. The sangria is very good.
The food is good, but it's definitely surpassed by other Argentinian restaurants. Its quality has declined in recent years, but it's still a decent option. Be careful with the bill; check it carefully. They've tried to charge us twice for drinks we didn't order (and quite ridiculously, too; one time they tried to charge us for cognac when we'd ordered brandy).
Hands down, the staff in this restaurant is excellent. Super friendly and attentive. Menu is a bit on the pricey side which is expected given the specialty are dishes like T-bone and sirloin steaks. I feel the food was better over 10 years ago, like the steaks lack some flavor in comparison to other steakhouses I have visited. But if the waiters tell you they promise the meat will be soft, the cooks will work hard to cook a good steak. However, this restaurant is a good choice for eating steak without forking 3000 mexican pesos in a meal like other options. Salads are quite tasty. I do hope the restaurant considers remodelling the front entrance to make it wheelchair accesible. Sadly there are no ramps.
Good place to eat. It's an Argentinian restaurant, and the cuts of meat are good. The flank steak, cooked to perfection, is highly recommended, and the sweetbreads are a good appetizer. I recommend the creamed spinach and the Clericot to drink. The service is good, and the staff is very attentive. The restrooms are very clean, and the prices are moderate. Parking is limited.
If they already sell a soda for $58 pesos, what's the point of serving it cold? The "it goes with ice" excuse doesn't work when it's served hot, because the contact with the ice causes all the gas to escape. Soda should be served cold, not hot... unless you want to accompany it with onion and cilantro like broth. Invest in a cooler to serve cold soda.
We just went to pick up an order for today, the 31st, and the service from one of the older waiters, Isco, was rude and mocking, which is unacceptable to customers. If you have labor issues, fix them, because unhappy staff will ultimately ruin the business. Customers definitely don't like going to that place and receiving treatment from people like that. These individuals should be removed from the company as a strategic measure.
